Reaching Out

A boy left all alone in the world after being abandoned by his mother in a poor clan that treated him harshly because he started showing signs of being different from other kids and the people around him. With him being ostracized more and more he became less and less of the cheerful young kid he use to be until eventually turning discreet and mute around others in hopes that they would stop being scared of him. Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Or will people be there to catch him if he does once again?

Trapped

Vandor nodded at Xilo as he accepted his task. While he liked helping out Xilo with tasks like information gathering or organisation he also wanted to show off his own skills. It also made him feel a little more useful when he went out to fight in Xilo's place. "Time to stretch the old legs." Looking to his sides he saw the others who came were also eager for a chance to do something too. Yulrin was already starting to think of the plan while the other member Xilo had brought along was eager to help. Seeing them all ready to accept his task Xilo was happy that they were so willing.

"I'm counting on you three and I'm sure you've got your own way of entering as well, correct?"

Vandor nodded with Lexia's help; they knew how to get in and out.

"Yup, would you like for us to go now Xilo?"

"The sooner the better, I have no idea how long Landel will keep them alive so get going."

"""Yes sir!"""

Multiple shouts entered Xilo's ears as he watched the three of them walk away. Shaking his head, Xilo was slightly embarrassed by how they were acting in front of lexia. "These guys." Watching their interactions from the side, Lexia felt some of her worry disappear. "A good group." Even though she wanted to bolt out right now to go help them Xilo's presence kept her grounded. With them all gone now and only the girls left Xilo turned his view to Lexia. If she thought she could escape from him then she was in for a surprise. "Maybe I should have given them some help?" Looking at them walk away through the window Xilo figured that they would be alright without it.

"Eh, if they're so confident I'm sure they're fine."

Sitting down at the table next to everyone Xilo smiled as he began to chat with everyone to keep them busy. Vandor and Yulrin walked alongside each other as they discussed their plan with Rana as well. Since it was so sudden the plan was quickly put together but it should work out well. With Lexia's help they had a layout of the Castle and already knew where the prisons were. Getting inside was also the easy part of this plan. Actually setting them free and escaping with everyone was going to be the hard part. "There's about six or so that were sent to jail." It really didn't seem like a lot however when you think how many people there weren't on the Queen's side it was quite a bit.

"We're going to have to fight people probably, are you two up for that?"

"Shouldn't be a problem, Vandor, it's been a while since I've fought someone."

"Haha that's the spirit Yuilrin, what about you Rana?"

"I'll be fine, just worried about you old man."

Rana was a newer recruit who was quite strong for his age so Vandor was confident in his skill. In return though he had a bit of a mouth on him that took some getting used to. He didn't mean any harm with it at least so if you weren't used to him it might have come off as an insult. "Thankfully no one here minds it.." They've all heard far worse insults their entire life so a little light banter was nothing. Laughing it away Vandor waved his hand as he took out a map he had on him. Passing it to Yulrin he showed her and Rana the map and where he thought they should enter.

"Sounds like a plan?"

""Yep.""

They had a few people already on the inside helping them out. Heading to the entrance the three had already contacted one of their people inside. "Let's see how we handle this." While that happened a girl that was recently named Yanyan travelled across the roads. She was looking for someplace to stop as she practised talking more. With her current look she was still being chased after by a lot of people. "I don't want to fight them." She knew that if she fought them she would end up killing them which wasn't something she wanted to do. The sight of blood caused the beastial instinct inside of her to creep out and take control. So she had to do everything she could to avoid it.

"Hurting people...isn't fun."

After Relia had disappeared she had been wandering hoping to find somewhere to stay and hide from them. "There's got to be someplace nearby." Yanyan kept going until she had no energy left. "Xilo...where are you?" Relia told her not to find Xilo but not say anything about her if they met. "I wonder why Relia's trying to hide from him?" For someone that was desperately trying to seek him out it was strange to see someone avoid him. With each step she took she felt her body getting lighter. She was growing more tired as she kept going, eventually at this rate she would have to stop.

"Just a little longer, I need to get further than them."

Sadly that hope was crushed into pieces once she saw someone appear in front of her path.

"Oh...no."

The people she had been running from this whole time had finally caught up to her.

"Please don't make me fight."

She could feel her whole body begin to shake. Multiple people made a blockade right in front of her and even behind her as well. She was being surrounded with each passing moment. "They've trapped me." It was starting to look like her only option to escape was fighting them. "I can just hurt them, I don't have to kill them." Trying to tell herself that she knew that she was just lying to herself. It still gave her a bit of comfort regardless.

"It's time."

Stopping where she was she gathered up what little energy she had and prepared herself to fight everyone in her way.

Enjoy.
