Reaching Out

A boy left all alone in the world after being abandoned by his mother in a poor clan that treated him harshly because he started showing signs of being different from other kids and the people around him. With him being ostracized more and more he became less and less of the cheerful young kid he use to be until eventually turning discreet and mute around others in hopes that they would stop being scared of him. Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Or will people be there to catch him if he does once again?

Old Friends

"So your Grandfather made it eh?"

Looking at the scared little rabbit that was currently Tearia, Felli didn't move or even budge hearing that. "I remember a story my mother used to tell me about her father." Her Grandfather was the only other person in her family line to have obtained space as an element but back then he was still learning to control it and was apparently pretty bad with it for the longest time unlike her. "He would forge storages all day hoping to make a profit to keep our family afloat and alive yet they always ended in failure, Either too small of a space or just simply broke he could never get it right. Mother still makes fun of him for it till this day." Her grandfather was in a sense a rarity in his own right except he failed to do anything with it and even almost gave up.

"At least that's what he told me when he gave it to me."

Gripping her necklace tightly Tearia was prepared to run at any moment if she needed to however it seemed she was nervous needlessly. "She isn't doing anything? maybe she doesn't know what it is..." However the tone she used asking that implied otherwise.

"Do you know his name by chance?"

"I don't, He only ever referred to himself as Eli when I asked."

"Eli...."

Felli's mother knew her father was on the edge of breaking after years of failure and dissapoint. "She almost even told him to stop as well." Nothing the man did went right until eventually he fell into a slump of depression and hid himself in his forge room for a whole month refusing to talk to anyone or even eat. "It caused mom quite the fright back in the day." When she had asked what he was doing during that month her mother said he was trying one last time before giving everything up. " A talented failure." Lifting her hand up she manipulated the space around her while an awkward silence built amongst the two.

"I see, thank you for telling me that."

"Do you know?"

"What your necklace is? Yes, I do know, My Grandfather created it alongside his best friend."

In that long month her Grandfather didn't talk to anyone, not even his family. However one day a mysterious man appeared at their small doorstep and presented himself. "The first thing he did apparently was break down that room's door in seconds, crazy person." Her Grandfather was by no means weak at the time so disturbing him during his work was probably one of the worst ideas you could do and that theory was proved right. Apparently after that they nearly destroyed the entire town they lived in fighting each other. "Idiots and yet somehow...they became friends." She didn't know how or what exactly happened but after they were finally done fighting her mother said they both walked into his forge together and came out a day later.

"but.."

"Don't believe it?"

"Kind of."

"I see, well let's reintroduce ourselves. You can call me Felli Lazen."

"Uhh...you can call me Tearia Dracen."

"Dracen.....hahahahaha, I see, I see."

"...?"

Tilting her head Tearia didn't know what was so funny.

"The name of my Grandfather's friend just so happens to be Elliot Dracen."

Together those two showed my mother the very first Storage device he had ever created with tears in his eyes. It was a silver chain necklace with a Purple jewel embedded into the center in the shape of a small tear that he had ended up giving to Elliot. After that she didn't really know what happened but apparently he was able to easily create more from then on with no more failures happening, after that their families influence and power skyrocketed until the day he died. "Now it's just me." The only inheritor of space energy left in their family line. "Yet he taught me nothing of use..." Looking at Tearia she smiled brightly as she reached out her hands towards her for a lift up.

"it's nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too."

Awkwardly Tearia grabbed Felli's hand and pulled her up. She didn't really know what was happening but it seems their Grandfathers used to know each other back in the day. "So he created it with his friend...Why did he never tell me that?" Then again if she thought about it he never even told her what his actual name was, only ever Eli. "How many secrets are you hiding from me Grandfather?" Lost in thought she watched as Felli got in front of her and examined the necklace closely. Still not used to such close distance with someone other then Xilo she took a slight step back as her thoughts wandered.

"So now what?"

"That's obvious, We continue to search this place together and see what else we can find. If we're lucky we might find your Lover again too even, wouldn't that be nice?"

"I don't know about that.....really."

"Scared of him?"

Hearing that her whole body froze up as Felli smiled at her without a care in the world even after digging straight into her heart.

"I'm not..."

"It's okay if you are, you know. He seems to be quite strong after all and currently not in the best place of mind. People like that are always the scariest but it also means he needs help."

"Help?"

"Remember when you asked him where Xelfia was and how he reacted?"

"I do but he just lashed out on me."

"That's probably because something bad happened and now he's vulnerable, Which in other terms it could be used as your only chance to do something good for him. Seeing as what happened before this might be the only chance you'll get. What do you think?"

"I don't really know..."

"You love him right? then the choice is easy silly girl."

Smiling at Tearia she pushed her forward out the door.

A really harsh headache stopped my day yesterday unfortunately, sorry. :c

Enjoy.
