Reaching Out

A boy left all alone in the world after being abandoned by his mother in a poor clan that treated him harshly because he started showing signs of being different from other kids and the people around him. With him being ostracized more and more he became less and less of the cheerful young kid he use to be until eventually turning discreet and mute around others in hopes that they would stop being scared of him. Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Or will people be there to catch him if he does once again?

Just Need That One Moment.

Thinking of any ways to fight he stepped back and bent to the side slightly as he used his hand to put distance between them again. "I need time." Right now the thing he needed the most was time to think of a way to fight back. He was very clear that he was losing and the only thing he could do was think his way out of this situation or he was done for. Unfortunately He wasn't a genius that could calculate or predict every possible scenario. "Maybe Xelfia, but I really didn't want to get her involved but what other choice do I have." Struggling he gave in as he called her name.

"Xelfia, I need your help."

"About time you asked."

With a confident smile she rushed to XIlo's side. Now with the two of them fighting at the same time their attacker shouldn't be able to get to Tearia easily and at the very least she could protect herself at least hopefully. So that helped ease his worries as he called Xelfia to his side. Xelfia wasn't a skilled fighter but thankfully she made up for her lack of expertise with pure power while he could handle the finer details himself and from his guess the person he was fighting was probably around the sixth stage which meant there should be no problems with this line up.

"So it's two on one then? My poor little heart. I thought we could get to know each other better, you know? But this is truly heartbreaking."

Making a dramatic pose he acted heartbroken but contrary to his tone or the words he was speaking the man still kept that same sneer as before and in fact it even got worse almost as if he wasn't scared of either of them in the slightest still. "Does he have backup?" That thought rushed through Xilo's head as he felt a cold sweat drip from his body. If there really was others around here that he couldn't detect they were screwed even if they beat the person in front of him. "I don't sense anyone else though..." He was starting to doubt his skills now which wasn't good.

"Go spout your nonsense elsewhere nobody wants to hear it."

Tearia from the side finally spoke up tired of hearing their attacker's annoying voice.

"Maybe you're right missy, Haha."

Laughing to himself like an idiot he charged even fast then the previous time and locked onto Xelfia leaving Xilo free to attack. Seeing he was going for a full head on with her, Xelfia gathered as much energy as she could and met it head on with just as much force. Thankfully they landed in a stalemate that wouldn't last long because Xelfia started to channel her Water Affinity. Weakening his fire as she held the blade with her palms. Without her natural body's toughness no normal human could have taken her place. While doing that Xilo snuck around and swept at his legs to try to get him off balance but was stunned shortly after. After kicking his legs he felt the impact and even some slight pain in his own body but their attacker still didn't budge in such a situation.

"What the...."

"Heh."

*Ssssss*

After that he felt a pain in his shoulder as he was pushed back and slammed against the ground. Sitting up he looked where he had hit only to be shocked the next second. The place where he hit him definitely left a mark but what surprised Xilo the most was his feet in the ground. It turns out he used some technique to dig a hole under his feet and stabilize himself under the ground. But the only way to do that so easily was from being affinitied with the Earth Element. Xelfia also tried something similar with her plants but he'd burn them with fire whenever she attempted. But that took a lot of effort for him so he was unable to keep it up for a long period of time.

"Dual Elements..."

"Good eyes Kid."

Even with the disadvantage in types with Fire Vs Water their attacker still ended up winning in the Stalemate as he pushed his blade deep into Xelfia's hand before she had to quickly jump back before losing her hand. Feeling the blood run down her hands and arms Xelfia was the most confused of them all. As she struggled with him she noticed she was getting weaker and weaker by the second causing her to be on the losing end but she didn't know why. "It's still happening." Feeling the energy travel slower in her body she was convinced it had to be the man's doing. Taking advantage of the small distance between them the man in front her caught up with her before she could escape and slashed again.

*Whoosh*

"We're still losing?" Even with the added help of Xelfia they were still unable to win. "Maybe Xelfia was more affected than I thought, Even though Xelfia should be stronger than before she seems weaker instead." It looks like he could only use the time Xelfia was giving him currently to think of a way out of this. "Back to square one." Tossing his thoughts around he looked at his surroundings trying to figure out ways to help him but stopped on the object in the ground a little ways away from. It was the rock that had been thrown at him earlier. "but what good is this..." Though that didn't mean it didn't give him an idea especially after seeing their use of Astral Elements before. Continuing to look he eventually stumbled upon a twig a little ways away.

Knowing she was getting weaker as the fight went on Xelfia attempted to give Xilo as much time to recover as possible. She knew he had been injured quite a bit and with every second passing by she was getting weaker as well so it was better to do as much as she could well she could still fight.

"Aren't you Feisty. Must be the animal in you."

Anger flashed in her eyes hearing that statement as she finally landed a blow after their hundreds of exchanges already.

"How do you know."

Fiercely speaking it was the first time since she left the forest that she had felt angry at someone besides herself.

"I can smell it on you. Quite easy once you've been around enough of your kind. You do smell disgusting after all."

*Pffft*

With that another fist landed on his ribcage and even though he felt pain run through his body taking those two hits he didn't stagger and instead laughed it off knowing he had succeeded in making her angry.

"Astral Beasts becoming human. Isn't that a huge joke honestly? you're all wild beasts after all. You should act like them and be disciplined properly."

Squeezing that out through rugged breaths he activated his Earth Energy and caused a small earthquake under Xelfia's feet to gain some breathing room. Even if they were weaker than normal blows Xelfia's attacks still weren't jokes that he could take willy nilly afterall. He only did it because of his hatred of all Astral Beasts and his clients order to make the women suffer.

"Shut your mouth trash."

Stumbling she could no longer follow up with the shaking earth all around as her anger was getting the better of her. At this point Xeflia only had a few more hits left in her before she collapsed from exhaustion. Xilo needed to help her and fast but she had to stall for now . Thankfully the Distance between them now made it easier for Xelfia to Grow roots and other plants in the ground to stabilize herself as quickly as possible but even that was exhausting for her. However it was too late as he was already in front of her again. Slashing his sword he planned to take her arm off with that blow but just before he could An Ice spear lodged itself into his arm without him noticing and knocked him off balance. Instead he could only use his other hand to punch Xelfia as hard as he could and send her flying into the distance.

*Bam*

With that Xelfia was sent rolling and laid there on the ground unable to get up anymore. With her out of the fight now he turned to the side and saw Xilo panting with two other Ice spears in his hand staring at him.

"Well that was something else, I'll give you that."

He didn't know how Xilo got past his senses but it didn't matter now that he had seen it once he wouldn't let it happen again. Tired after that last attack Xilo raised his Ice spear and awaited his charge.Unfortunately Xilo didn't have the concentration or the leeway to charge after that attack.

"How I've missed this feeling."

Laughing Like a maniac Adrenaline coursed through his body as he threw himself at Xilo again. Now with Xelfia out of the picture this fight was going to be a lot more easier for him.

Here's the second chapter for the day. Hope you're enjoying the fight c:

Today's were a little longer then usual because I want make the fight as vivid as possible and not feel...Basic? Of course this is for "Main Fights" but it'll be in others just not as prevalent. (As I've Stated Before)

Honestly I Think I explained that awfully but simply put I want good Fight scenes.

Haa....That's Better lol....

Enjoy

Thank you all for reading..
