Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Healing

*Nom*

A warm and slightly wet feeling enveloped his ear suddenly. Nibbling on Xilo's ear, Xelfia watched Xilo freak out for a few seconds before letting him go. Once she was done messing with him, she released her grip on him and said hello to everyone. Her back still killed her to move much so she just stayed still as possible. Wiping off his ear, Xilo gripped Xelfia's hand with his free one. "She seems fine." With her already messing with him, he was positive she would be alright soon. Tearia came over to check on Xelfia as well once she was done with some of the others.

"How's your back?"

"Feels like a giant hole is in it."

"There kind of is one, you got stabbed pretty badly. I patched most of it up but the body still needs some time. Try to just relax the next couple of days."

"Don't you guys plan on fighting again soon?"

Xilo flinched hearing that, it seems Xelfia was more aware of her surroundings when she passed out then he thought.

"We do, you'll just have to sit this one out. I'll need you in top condition when we head off to Tidal."

Trying to sit up Xelfia felt a spike of pain dig into her back forcing her to lie back down.

"I see..."

"Don't worry too much about it, we'll be fine. I've got it all figured out. For now you just rest, over the next few days we'll be preparing. I'll visit you whenever you can. For now though I need to go talk with Aeon a bit, I just wanted to make sure you were alright. I'll see you later."

Doing his best to assure Xelfia, Xilo walked out of the room and went to meet up with Aeon. If he wanted his plan to work like he wanted then Aeon would be a huge help. Watching Xilo walk away, Xelfia stopped smiling the second he left. Sighing, Katrin came up next to Xelfia and sat down on the chair Xilo was in. It was just the girl's left now in this room along with the injured who were sleeping. Curious as to why Katrin approached her, Xelfia lifted her guard a bit, not that it mattered. She couldn't do much in her current state, she was just paranoid of Katrin.

"Boys are quite stupid, are they not?"

Tilting her head, even Felli and Tearia were confused by Katrin's sudden words.

"Oh please, don't you all look at me like that. You know exactly what I'm talking about. Aeon was quite the idiot as well, a lot more so then Xilo at least. The point I'm trying to get at Xelfia is he probably realises you want to help, he's just being too thoughtful. While it's nice sometimes, other times it just gets in the way. It's up to you what you want to do with that knowledge. I mean just look at Felli over there, she has feelings for the boy and Xilo even knows that but nothing's happened. It's quite ridiculous if you ask me."

"Mother!?!?!"

"Shush, you know it's true. Xilo is just being too mindful of it as well since I said it not you, yourself."

"I don't though..."

Grumbling under her breath Felli felt her face turn slightly red. Laughing at her daughter's cuteness Katrin tried to reassure Xelfia and even Felli by telling them about some of her past stories with Aeon. "It took him too long to figure out I liked him." Travelling down memories with the girl's they spent the next couple hours chatting with each other. From how Aeon would always panic whenever he wasn't noticed or how Xilo could be incredibly stupid, thinking people were scared of him all the time. Trading stories back and forth, Xelfia eventually warmed up a bit to Katrin as she laid down on her bed. "I'll talk with Xilo about it later." Keeping that in mind she smiled.

Meeting up with Aeon in his office Xilo knocked on his door before walking in. Sitting down Xilo brought up his idea with Aeon as they discussed it together. He even got Aeon to agree with most of it. Once that was done Xilo headed back and spent the rest of the day preparing. They only had a couple days to prepare for Delfex so there wasn't any time to waste. With Raran taking care of all the Clan's chores Xilo grabbed Keld who was the only free one for some training. Getting him to spawn a bunch of his Astral Beasts, Xilo started to practice deep into the night. Once it got late he went back to Xelfia, only to see not her there. Panicking for a quick second he noticed Yana nearby sitting on a chair looking at some documents.

"Hey, Yana, where did Xelfia and the others go?"

Looking up from her work Yana answered.

"Katrin took them to the main dining area, Xelfia was able to walk and with Tearia with her, I let them go. They should still be there."

"Alright, thanks."

Waving bye Xilo headed for the main dining area, where he heard a bunch of voices talking. Heading in he saw everyone that wasn't injured or on duty sitting around the table. "I guess Vandor swapped with Yulrin." Seeing Vandor there, he walked in and said hello. Everyone greeted him all at once like always before quickly going back to whatever they were talking about. Taking a seat next to the girl's Xilo stayed quiet as Katrin talked with them. "Surprising." For someone who always seemed so busy she sure was chatty when she wanted to be. Xelfia seemed to be able to move around a bit as well, faster than he initially thought she would.

"Good."

He was glad to see Hunter didn't end up doing to much damage to her, at this rate she would defintiely be able to help them out when they went to Tidal.

Enjoy.
