Beginning Of The End

Drip...drip...

At the sound of something wet falling to the floor he shakily looked around at the brooming darkness that was over taking the forest and the beautiful lights starting to slowly but surely dominate his view and the forest itself.

He could barely stay conscious as he felt a gnashing pain in his stomach that felt like thousands of needles were stabbing into him. His breath was slowly becoming shallower and shallower as his vision blurred and his hoarse voice could barely escape from his throat anymore.

"D-dam..i..t..I..re...lly..me-mess.ed..up..this..ti-time."

The anguish and pain he was feeling at this moment was truly aggravating and it severely irritated him that he was actually experiencing this feeling of despair once again. He truly believed he wouldn't have had to feel like this again but maybe that was being too naive.

His journey ahead was bound to be a long one filled with pain and potential hardships he should've known better. But he had no way of turning back time.

"Idiot.." As he was basking in these feelings that he had stopped experiencing as frequently as he used to, He slowly moved his head to look up at what had caused this.

There a shadow was looming over him as big as a house and almost as tall as a tree. A creature he had never seen before in the Myriad Locked Forest was slowly approaching him seemingly with a mocking attitude.

When the realization and his brain caught up with what had just happened, he quickly tried to move. He tried his absolute hardest to move his weak, injured and bloodied body as best as he could. Whether it was to get up and fight or try and run away he couldn't tell. All he knew at that moment was that he had to move and move quickly or else.

He was for sure done for if he didn't but no matter how much he struggled and wiggled around he couldn't move no more than a couple of inches before he backed into a stone wall that appeared at the edge of a the cave he was apparently thrown in.

Right as he bumped into the rocky uneven wall behind him, his first thought was "Ahhh I'm done for." and he slowly stopped struggling because at that point there was only despair and suffering in his near future.

All he wanted to do the most in his life was to not be seen as a monster by the people around him. Gain friends, find his mother and maybe get a lover or two along the way. that was the whole reason he even tried getting stronger, he wanted warmth. He was tired of all the loneliness around him and the feeling of not knowing exactly what he was or what he was going to do the next day to survive.

That's why he was in the Myriad Locked Forest that most people avoided like the plague. He wanted to change and he wanted to grow even if it meant danger and risks. For the most part it went in his favour at First, except for some "bumps" along the way but it seemed today was probably his last day to strive for what he wanted. He carelessly let his guard down thinking he was the strongest in the Myriad Forest after he beat the "king" of it and because of that his guard lowered and his sense of caution and tension loosened resulting in this happening.

"Dying.... alone..heh...no-nothing more suitable for me...isn't that right..."

Though he may not of been completely alone with her around but it was far from what he wanted.

"arghhhhh"

His slow yet pain wretched mouth could only speak so much as the reality set in for him. But even if his reality was painful and sad he didn't want it to just end here he still had so many hopes and dreams he wanted to struggle for and grasp it in his hand even if he knew he was only at the beginning.

But this creature in Front of him was surely not gonna give him such a chance seeing as it was looming over him as if mocking him.

"Gr-Gr-Gr-Gr"

The Creature started making growling noises as if it were laughing at him and his fruitless struggling. it was clearly just rubbing salt in his wounds. Finally the creature and its dark fur that was like the night approached him ever so slowly as if to torture him even more to make him suffer to his very last breath and it worked. He felt like he was suffocating in endless darkness That wanted to eat him whole and engulf him into its stomach known as nothingness.

But then it happened, it Felt Like Time had stopped for the creature that was slowly walking towards him. It just stood There unmoving almost as if it turned into a statue.

What was even more surprising though was what came after the creature stopped.

"Do you want me to help you boy?"

A voice that was ice cold yet had a thawing gentleness to it but was still as calm as a flowing river travelled through his ears but at that moment he was in too much pain and despair to fully appreciate it or even to wonder why it felt like time had stopped for the creature when this voice appeared. All he knew was that he was going to die at that moment if he didn't do anything.

Even so he still tried to look up to find the figure that spoke to him. As he slowly raised his head to look for the figure of the voice his eyes finally fell upon a women like figure behind the creature standing still as a statue sitting there staring at him as if waiting for his decision. But to him it looked like she was judging him or even examining him to see what he would do.

But when his eyes met hers he felt as if was staring at insurmountable wall that could never be climbed. this was the first time in his life that he ever felt like especially after all the things he'd been through so far. Even if he was still inexperienced he was still quite strong but then again it was still fairly shallow but it was still the first time he ever felt like he saw a wall that was unclimbable when looking at someone.

Even the people in his Fiery Clan that he saw every day didn't have an aura like that around them and they protected and watched over a decently sized town and watched over the Myriad Forest

But He still slowly and surely met her gaze. that women was obviously waiting on his answer and was probably even helping in this situation and he knew he had to give a proper answer at the very least. whether she found it satisfactory or not he would never know unless she told him. But that was based on the premise that he lived passed today or even saw her again afterwards. But nevertheless he needed to say something.

"No."

His darking cold voice that even shocked him seeing as it had never been this cold before leaked out of his mouth unconsciously. but after that he lost all power to speak even if wanted to correct his answer. But the woman was even more shocked at the tone of his voice and the answer he gave. It was as if she was truly shocked by it as well and for a moment went into a daze herself and sighed.

"hahhh""

Maybe some part of him didn't want to be saved by another, maybe he just had simply given up or maybe he was just simply being stubborn but at that moment all he could think was

"I don't want anyone's help, I'll be the one that save's myself."

But there was also another voice in his head that truly shocked and scarred him to his core. It was screaming out in his head almost like an impulse that told him to slaughter everything around him right then and there. That Terrified him but before he could dwell on it or even acknowledge it as him being the one to think about it he slowly lost conscious and everything in his head and vision slowly faded to nothingness. As the women watched him pass out she did sense a small strange aura from something but just as quickly as it appeared it disappeared. So she just chased the thought out of her mind and snapped out of the daze she was in and slowly moved forward muttering.

"You haven't been alone for a long time now you fool.."

A slightly mischievous smile crossed her face for a second then quickly disappeared.

Though this is just a part of the beginning and ended up maybe being to depressing depending on the view

i hope you can still enjoy.
