Self doubts, unusual treasure and Aftermath

Vaanavan woke up from his unconscious state, he felt like he was drained of all energy in his body not only that his body has been in some serious strain by that unknown pressure, when he woke up his mind was very messy and sluggish he couldn't remember what happened to him felt very tired for sometime.

His mind slowly started to remember things as he stared mindlessly at the dark cave he was living. His brow creased together as he try to think of what happened to, after a few minutes when he, was clear headed enough to know ; he, started to speculate what has happened to him and why?

It was completely out of blue so when he, was assaulted by this strange energy and pressure on him even his soul was suffered such a pressure Vaanavan thought he, was going to die just like that, he could not think of anything that might affect him like this.

He narrowed down his answers to selective few first he thought this should be related to the heavenly treasures on the rival camp but if it's was them then he couldn't understand why they didn't just simply expell them from here but attacked him instead.

'This doesn't make sense! why would they do something like this to him? There wouldn't be any use in them' he wondered as he organized his memory and the information he gathered about these treasures he, thinked as he had pretty basic understanding of how the system would thing in most of the cases, their line of thoughts also similar wave length be also related then.

From system explanation about them unlike it's unique case, they wouldn't suffer a backlash or perish with their ally, if their ally was killed then they can choose the next powerful person on that race, so even if they knowing it, they wouldn't attack him thinking the same.

Their first priority should be expell him along with the system, besides should not they figured out by then he, was just low level cultivator and something seems off why would they think system would focus on him instead of patriarch or the other two powerful leaders whose level very close to patriarch.

He felt like his brain going to fried by all the this detailed thinking he, gasped by the giddiness, the only conclusion he can come up with is just put this aside for now; if it was really some of those heavenly treasures then it means he couldn't understand their twisted minds.

The next thing was that, it might be really the cause of the problem, That chaotic sacred treasure whatever it name was 'Maybe this could be the real reason for what happened to me' the more he thought about it the more he believed this could be the reason.

'Could it be something really wrong with that sacred treasure' he thought to himself, the system told him, the treasure didn't have any problems or side effects but he couldn't rule out the possibility.

The system loudly yelling in his head "Oww" he flinched away instinctively and knowing that it was coming from his head made him angry he, asked the system "why are you shouting in my head, be silent! will you?"

The system voice seems little pleased and surprised by seeing him awake and frowning and now started to bother him 'I didn't hear it was talking to me, could it be something happened to me, was my ears turned deaf' he wondered to himself.

His face changed immediately as he gritted out his voice full of anger "Get out my head, you darn system! didn't I tell you don't peak into my head, don't cross the line or I'll fight you to death"

Vaanavan ignored it's dark humor but relieved hearing he, was alright and the system didn't take advantage of situation spying on his mind he, hesitantly commented "My whole body felt sore and drained, My mind also seem little bit sluggish can't you heal me with that silver glow of yours" after a thought he asked more humbly "Please, its much appreciated"

Vaanavan irritated with it ever present nonchalant and indifferent voice he, snapped, "Do you think I'm exaggerating things to you or something, I can't even sit up right now and you are telling me, I'm alright are yo-" system interrupted him like he done just now.

[Why don't you let me finish first, hear me out of what I am trying to say, it's not that, hard is it? as I was saying its not about your body, your essence spirit gotten some damaged from.... that accident? Don't worry, this wasn't much of a problem really! it's just going to take few months of resting to recover on its own]

Vaanavan shuddered as he remembered the pressure on what he thought his soul, being almost getting crushed he, didn't want to experience similar thing again, 'It would take months what would he do that long? that mean I can't even enter temporal chamber, this is troubling' he was afraid of sit still doing nothing he, can't even cultivate what should he do, he was depressed.

Vaanavan hurriedly asked the system as he thought of something"Can't you find some treasure to treat my injury" his face flushed in embarrassment as he asking for this favor. He knew it was no different than telling it take the treasure from another person possession; he would often criticizing the system for it shameless and overbearing nature but he now pushed into the state of asking such a favor from it.

[Ah! is that alright? I thought Host would not like such a atrocious behavior, so I refrained from doing that..... after all you were very mad at me for taking something from someone-]

Vaanavan face was flushed like never before, hearing it somewhat teasing yet delighted voice, he felt like he was also a thief who about rob someone property he angrily retorted "Why are you talking as if I would turned into such an immoral person? mind you! I, was going to return everything I barrowed from those when I have an opportunity I'm a honorable knight" he latched on to the word system said other day to desperately keep his dignity, but he wasn't lying he, was really going to return the treasure or something of similar values meet the condition.

Vaanavan regretting he never started to planing back up plans after his stay in this cave, it seems he subconsciously started to assumed he would be safe in this cave with this high level production.

As he saw the chances of success in the clone technique, he put his full hope on this creating plans surrounding the usage of the technique, it could more correct in saying that he was giving himself pressure and hope to achieve this goal, so he can get what he wanted, he had to admit this was worst decision he ever made, even topped his careless decision of the whole trial fiasco; This wasn't how a survivor should made decisions about his next move in this God forsaken planet not having a backup plan is one of the biggest mistake.

Vaanavan realized his eagerness and fear of loneliness blindsided his rationality made him choose wrong sort priorities, despite his doubts and probablity he, still endured it as Vaanavan know he could achieve what he wanted if he dedicated enough in this research. Fortunately for him in the end he still managed to succeed but knowing that this unexpected accident completely threw him off guard made him depressed over all this useless thoughts and his shortsightedness.

Vaanavan grow little apprhensive and more nervous as he noticed system was unusualy silence after his continuous insistence, he could not help but fidgeting a little, if the tribe experts know of his behavior, even they wouldn't know what would they do because after seeing his godly power they were awed and almost worshipping him as their God.

His voice cracked weakly as he nervously asking once again "S-system is it hard to find such a treasure, I thought you were able to find it easily enough" he wasn't sure yet about which was rare in the universe as he didn't made that much progress in reading that book so he was fidgeting.

[Nah! it's not that they are extremely rare or not fetched by me if necessary but I was thinking along the line if it was alright to do that]

hearing that poured him a cold Water on his hope he stammered "W-what Er.... I don't understand "

Vaanavan silence didn't last longer his next course of action was something even he didn't expect he, burst out with blazing rage, "You b****, you think I don't know what you are planning, you don't want me to use that clone technique from the beginning since I, don't agree with that you, choose this sort of despicable methods to obstruct me" his eyes looked like they were about to spew fire from his anger.

In his mind there was a deep seeded doubt about this system and fears this time it did not simply stay like this, he didn't want to be toyed like this by anyone in his life some memories running through his mind as he getting more and more agitated by his situation.

System voice last the all the teasing now extremely cold, seems very pissed by all the shouting, profanities and accusation against it.

Vaanavan was calmed down a little but he didn't talk, unless the system Proving Otherwise he, couldn't believe what the system telling him, noticing system become silent didn't talk after this or tried to prove in any way but he, inexplicably remembered the hazy memory of system talking to him before he losing consciousness.

'Yeah Now that I remember system ranting about it's power doesn't seem work on me' He thought to himself; his emotions calmed down lot after recalling how flustered system that time so with a sigh he, broke the tense silence, "Can you give me, the treasure you have with yourself, I think we can take this risk"

He sighed as he tiredly explained "I'm saying, I can take this so called risk, give me the treasure you think work well" there was silence as if system didn't heared him. even though he was gritting his teeth in annoyance he didn't lost his cool this time as he know, there was a chance system might really telling truth.

"Look, I know its dangerous and all I don't mindlessly come to this decision, I have several reasons I still insisting on it and I'll take full responsibility of something bad happened " he took a deep breath " if I still alive when something might have gone wrong then, I will give first priority to your thoughts"

There was fragrant and big fruit like thing appeard on his sight, he hesitantly touched the fragrant fruit this was mostly light green and brown, hard and cold to touch 'Is this shell of this fruit?' he wondered he opened the panel to check it.

Vaanavan heart thumped as he read the last line on the description, he wasn't sure what does that mean but sound impressive he think its effect was similar to refine his body with that chaotic sacred treasure. He wanted to know best way achieve that rebirth thing but he was afraid the system might ignore him not response as he was worrying over this, the system briefed him about how to refine it suddenly surprise him little.

"Yes! and thank you " he paused shortly before continuously saying "I remembered you were trying to help me, when the pressure attacked me, I shouldn't have cursing like that or yelled at you I'm extremely sorry" He apologized sincerely after that.

I'm not do that purpose " Seeing system didn't say anything he felt the atmosphere little awkward he coughed and asked something he has been thinking briefly "Did they fight again or come here to look for me, how long I was being unconscious for?"
