On the Road Again

Everyone heads downstairs and heads to the door with their things. Aktlass and Vajor notice a few shimmers from some of the people in the room as they walk by. tags similar to Aktlass's chained to some part of their body.

Aktlass leans down to Karma and plants his head on theirs with a gentle whisper.

AKTLASS:(whisper)

"Cover us in darkness. we will be your guiding light."

Sarale's ear twitches at Aktlass tone.

SARALE:

"Vajor, I'm curious, could you carry Lendral? I know Ootashi, (looks at Aktlass) can Carry Karma."

Aktlass flicks his tongue with a hiss and eases his hands around Karma's waist as if to give them a hug.

SARALE:(looks at Vajor)

"but I was curious if you could carry Lendral in full plate."

VAJOR:

"aye, I could, want me ta give it a go, dove?"

SARALE:

"maybe later. Lendral I don't believe I ever thanked you properly for helping me before. Sardan's words always were able to pull me from that darkness."

She glances to a point in the room and the moment she utters darkness the room goes dark. She grabs Lendral and shoves him into Vajor who lifts the elf over his shoulder. Sarale grabs his wrist and rushes past grabbing Aktlass as well. Aktlass picks up karma, yanking them into football hold as soon as he felt Sarale's hand on his.

She pulls them from the room and out the door, her devil's sight allowing her to guide their path as the room behind erupts into chaos. Men shouting and scrambling to their feet. Tripping over each other as they scrambling after the party.

Once the doors behind them shut Sarale let's go of Aktlass and Vajor, misty stepping next to the horses and swinging up onto the back of a silvery gray mare with a two tone mane and draws her blade cutting the tethers of the hunters horses

SARALE:

"Go!"

She yells as her horse neighs and steps about nervously. The other horses bolted in the opposite direction. Vajor drops Lendral onto his feet and lifts himself onto the largest of the horses, a gray and white mottled shire horse, grabbing the reins and ushering it into a run down the street. Lendral vaulting onto the back of a blonde and white pinto horse and charging after Vajor.

Sarale shouts to Karma as her horse turns in a circle ready to follow after Karma and Aktlass. Karma releases a second cloud of darkness that covers the entrance as soon as they race out the doors and to the horses. Aktlass hops onto the dark clydesdale and throws Karma in front of him and snaps the Reigns to take off down the road after them. Aktlass and Karma race towards Sarale when Aktlass notices something at the corner of his eye. Sarale turns to follow them and sees Tunda on a shadow panther with a sling ready to fire it at one of the horses.

Sarale outstretches her hand towards him, her eyes flaring with righteous fury.

SARALE:

"I evune ise sildeara ma' sou'nin!"

[Translation](By moon fire feel my wrath!)

A silvery beam of light, forty feet high and five feet wide, engulfs Tunga and his mount, as ghostly flames sear their flesh. His shadow panther roars in pain and bolts, trying to run from the radiant light. Aktlass's horse hears the cat's roar and quickly takes off down the road nearly forcing Aktlass to fall back. Karma looks to see where the sound came from and sees Tunda on the ground, now singed on one side of his face. They make eye contact and his face twists from annoyance to agony as he watches them race off, seeing Karma's pained expression as they leave.

Sarale glares at the goliath as she urges her horse forward, Her weapon still drawn as they race after Aktlass and Karma. Tunda quickly recovers and stands, pulling a silver necklace from his belt pocket.

TUNDA:

"Loonu!"

A large Moorbounder is summoned from the crystal of the necklace and nuzzles him before letting him hop on and rushing off down the road after everyone. Sarale glances back over her shoulder and growls under her breath.

SARALE:

"persistent bastard."

Sarale looks to the ground as her eyes glow green.

SARALE:

"lothron cín lond n róvan."

[Translation](May your path be harsh.)

The ground behind her grows thick and lush as plants, weeds, and vines sprout from the ground and grasp at cats legs, creating difficult terrain. The vegetation coiled up and restrained it, rooting the cat in place.

Sarale looks forward, pressing a hand to her steeds neck.

SARALE:

"Nor sui i thúl."

[Translation](Run as the wind.)

She gives her horse its head, feeling the mare's powerful muscles tense as it gets a burst of speed. Sarale barely holds on as she catches up to Aktlass and Karma.

SARALE:

"we have company!"

Karma looks past Aktlass and sees Tunda hop off the moorbounder and tries to cut it loose. He wasn't able to cut them in time, as the others rush past him. one of them hits on the back of his head and knocks him to the ground laughing at him.

SCOUT:

"SERVES YOU RIGHT, LONER!!"

Karma quickly holds their hand out at Aktlass's side while he held the reins steady. Karma casts witch bolt on the new chaser and hits him along with his mount, causing him to fall off hurt horse and dislocate his shoulder, getting his leg crushed under the horses weight as it stumbles to the ground with him.

The party vanishes in the distance and races through the forest, never to be seen again. Tunda tries to hack away at the moorbounder's binds with no luck as it whines for food. Tunda looks at the mount, tired and dizzy then sees the man that had passed him laying incapacitated. he makes his way to the man and stands over him with annoyance.

SCOUT:(Stutter)

"h-hey. What are you doing? get away from me!"

The man starts to panic. Tunda ignores his cries and grabs him by the collar of his armor to drag him back to his mount. The man struggles to get free but to no avail. Tunda raises the man to the moorbounder and the man starts to plead for his life, Tunda's expression uncaring and tired as he gives the man to the moorbounder, who opens its mouth and takes the man's head clean off as he screams. Tunda starts petting the moorbounder as it purrs and noms away at the rest of the body. He looks back into the distance thinking to himself in silence.
