Slumber

Days passed by. But there has been no improvement in Ashmita or Maira's condition. All that everyone could do is pray to God for their fast recovery.

Shivraj secretly sent his men for the doctors from other kingdoms. Yashoda and her team are still trying to find the cause for the illness.

There are no other symptoms besides fever. Their temperatures are oscillating between normal and high a few times a day.

"Shivraj, I suddenly remembered something. But before I tell you about it, promise me that you will keep it a secret" Chanukya stated.

Both the kings are in the meeting room. No one else is there in the room and it is calm.

"What is it father?" Shivraj asked.

"This might cure my granddaughters' illness," Chanukya stated.

Shivraj was surprised. He wants his daughters cured by any means possible and for that he is ready to do anything.

"Sure father. If that cures my daughters' illness, anything." Shivraj promised.

"Great. There is one person who can cure anything and you also know him" Chanukaya said seriously.

"What? I know him?" Shivraj was surprised.

Chanukya nodded and added, "Oak the elf."

"What?" Shivraj was shocked by the sudden revelation of this topic.

"B.. But how father?" Shivraj asked in disbelief. He heard that Surya killed everyone.

Chanukya explained everything about the Elves. About how Ashmita rescued them and even Oak's confession about Aaradhya's kidnapping.

Shivraj feels guilty of hiding the fact of Aaradhya's kidnap. 

"Don't feel guilty son. It happened a long time ago. We need to focus on the present," Chanukya explained.

"So what do you suggest father?" Shivraj asked.

"I am planning to bring Oak and his doctor here. Maybe they can help us." Chanukya stated.

Shivraj without thinking a moment, nodded his head in approval.

"You can explain to Aaradhya. She needs to know this. It may lighten her up a little," Chanukya said.

Shivraj just nodded his head and left the room to arrange for the arrival of Oak. 

Shivraj sent devil team members to bring Oak to Jasmine. Time flew by. Doctor Elf and Oak arrived quickly after knowing about Ashmita's condition.

Oak and doctor Elf directly went to them without wasting anytime. Only Yashoda and Veda are there with the princesses. They sent away all the servants and guards from there.

Doctor Elf checked both of them and asked for the diagnosis. Yashoda informed the doctor Elf everything and he checked them for a few minutes. Meanwhile, Shivraj arrived at the room.

"What is the situation?" Oak asked.

"They need your help to come out of this slumber," doctor Elf informed.

"What? Slumber?" Oak asked with confusion.

"Yes. Currently they are not suffering from any illness. They are just sleeping," doctor Elf confirmed.

"What? How is it possible? Then why is their temperature getting increased? Why does Ashmita coughed blood?" Yashoda asked with bewilderment.

"I understand that. But this is not related to any medical problem. This is different, " Doctor Elf informed patiently.

"Then what is the cause?" Yashoda asked.

"I will explain," Oak stated.

Everyone turned towards the Oak and waited patiently for his response.

"Their twin bond got activated." Oak answered.

"What?"

"Yes. It is not a simple bond. And it is not like when one gets hurt the other also feels hurt. It is completely different" Oak explained.

"What kind of bond is this?" Shivraj asked.

"Their life bond. These two are gifted from God, herself. They are blessed children of God. They are bestowed with magical powers and great fate.." Oak started explaining.

"This bond is both a boon and a curse. After this bond is activated these two princesses' souls are connected. If needed, one twin can see the surroundings where the twin is in. Also, if one wants, she can show the other the scenes and places where they are in." Oak stated.

"Since they're still not aware of controlling their powers, this ability is vulnerable to people like me. Let me explain this way, when either of the twins is using this ability, they may unknowingly open gates for other mystics to watch and even manipulate what the other twin is supposed to see. So it's very important for the twins to master their abilities," Oak warned.

"In Maira, the magical abilities developed earlier than Ashmita because of her master. As Ashmita doesn't have those abilities yet, she was unable to withstand the overwhelming power they share from this bond and so coughed the blood." Oak explained.

Everyone is in a dilemma and they don't know how to respond to this kind of situation. They are just praying that this bond should not bring them any harm.

"So, does this mean if one twin is harmed in some way or thrown into a life threatening situation then the other will also suffer the same?" Shivraj asked with worry.

"Not exactly. As I said if others are injured then others will not bear the same pain. Even if one life is in danger, another will not be in danger. But, when that situation comes, the other's health may deteriorate." Oak informed.

"So it will cause some damage to the other," Shivaraj said.

"Yes. But if they learn how to control their powers and identify people with magical abilities, then they can prevent this kind of situation. For now on they need to learn about their powers and the  bond. They should start to focus on developing their strength."

"For now concentrate on positivities. If they learn to control the power they share, they will become much stronger and healthier. They can do wonders with this ability. So, focus on the good side" Oak insisted.

Everyone nodded in approval. Why need to bother about a problem in the future? Just focus on the present and learn to handle things properly in future.

"It is good that you contacted me. If we'd delayed a bit it would take their lives. Anyway I arrived in time. I will try to get them out of their Slumber. So don't worry and leave them to me" Oak assured everyone.

After saying that, Oak placed his hands on both of their heads and closed his eyes. He chanted something and a faint white glow started to appear on his hands.
