It had been a week since I was in college, I still hadn't gotten used to being so far away from my parents let alone my popcorn cockatiel.

I was looking for an important book that Professor Augusto mentioned in his last class on anatomy, but it was on one of the highest shelves of the bookcase, and for someone like me who measures less than a 1.58 this becomes as difficult as scaling the Mount El Capitan.

I force myself to stretch as far as possible to reach the desired book, but I end up unsteady and bumping into a robust chest, even embarrassed I turn around to apologize immediately.

Clumsy I am, but never polite!!

– Forgive me, I didn't want to bump into you – I look at who I bumped into.

– Your destiny is already set, it's no use running away from it – said the man with the mask in front of me.

– What destination? - I asked confused, not understanding those nonsense words - Where are you going? - He leaves walking in the middle of the corridors, I end up losing my sight without knowing what his identity was.

I see the book I was looking for lying on the floor right next to my left foot, the day is really weirder than usual, I pick up the book on the floor and take it to the librarian to sign the responsibility card.

I'm flipping through the book until I reach the counter where the librarian is, and the closer I get, I notice she's a young woman, she's beautiful, she must be in her thirties, a tall black woman who had such green eyes as an emerald, her huge platinum black gave her a different look, truly a spectacular woman.

- Good afternoon, I would like to take this book to read - I hope she unglue her attention from the computer screen.

– Okay, I'll make you a card – she goes to the printer – I've never seen you around here – she looks at me.

'I've only been here a week,' I say shyly.

- It's a little while then - she smiles kindly - Here's your card with the date of delivery, just sign the registration book.

I pick up the card and sign the old log book.

– Here are your books dear – she hands me two books, one I chose, the other I had no idea where it came from.

'Sorry, but I only got one,' I say confused.

- No dear, you gave me two books - she said patiently.

Seeing the line behind me getting huge, I decide not to complain anymore and pick up the mystery book, now I wonder where it ended up as I'm pretty sure I only got one.

Hope you enjoyed the personal story :)
