Perhaps, he can be a trickster as well. He was jealous and he felt like putting his arms around her. She almost shrieked when the space between them disappeared. She mumbled his name before he kissed her once more. It was a little longer the second time around and this led her to place her hands on his chest. The kiss lasted for a minute and she was blushing madly while staring in his eyes. She was like a stiff log when he hugged her. 

They didn't know for how long they stayed inside the storage room, kissing and hugging each other until his phone started to ring. He almost forgot that they were rushing the decorations. She picked up the box he found earlier and immediately left. He let out a sigh while leaning on the wall. He doesn't know what will happen later. It might be awkward for them to be in the same room. Though he noticed that she never kissed him back. Perhaps, she was too shocked by what he did. He ran his fingers through his hair before putting his glasses on. 

"What took you so long?" Makoto asked and she just put the box down. Certainly, the two girls noticed her fidgety actions, so they pulled her out of the office for a talk. 

"Something happened?" Gia asked and she shook her head. Lauren squinted and she just pouted. 

"Your lips are too soft." Gia said while tapping her fingertip on Fuyu's lips. She gently shoved her hand away and covered it. 

"I already know what happened." Lauren smirked and her eyes widened. She knows that they will not tell about it to anyone but she is a little scared that they might tell it to her brother. 

Later that night, Makoto furrowed his brows when he heard a knock from outside. He opened the door and saw Fuyu hugging her huge piggy plushie. He was about to sleep already. She walked in and laid down on his bed. She was only like that when she watched a horror movie alone and couldn't sleep. She is afraid that she might dream of what happened earlier in the storage room. It will be a problem for her. 

"Nii.." She called him, hiding her face behind the plushie. She closed her eyes but her mind suddenly flashed the images of that incident. 

"Fuyu, tell me what the problem is. Are you feeling sick? Should we call our family doctor?" He asked and she shook her head. She is scared because Makoto might get mad at her. 

"Will you get mad at me if I tell you that I already had my first kiss?" She asked, sitting in the bed while looking up at him with teary eyes. 

"No, why would I get mad? Tell me what happened." He answered even though he already had a clue who had her first kiss. 

The first day of the school festival finally came. Everyone in Royal High is enjoying the food and game stalls that the Student Council prepared in the school grounds. The classrooms turned into cafés and shops and there is also a horror house in the end of the hallways. The gymnasium turned into a planetarium while the auditorium turned into a party hall that will be used later for the music night. They saw a few staff members carrying in the music instruments and the students thought that there might be a band practice for later events. 

"Let's sneak in." Lauren whispered when she saw that the backstage door was opened. They saw silhouettes from inside and when they were about to peek from inside, a staff member noticed them and asked them to leave instead. 

"That's unfair." She puffed her cheeks, resting her crossed arms on her chest. Fuyu was able to peek from outside and she noticed a guy with long blonde hair. 

She furrowed her brows, thinking who it should be. She knows that her brother will never have long hair but he will certainly have blonde hair if he has a chance to. They went to the rooftop and looked at the students who looked like ants from their view. The school grounds looked like an amusement park. They got a ferris wheel, a roller coaster and a merry-go-round. The younger ones are definitely enjoying the school festival but for those who are about to graduate already, it is just a waste of money. 

The grade school curriculum has been abolished since five years ago and Makoto and Fuyu were one of the last students who was able to experience studying the curriculum in Royal High. The lowest grade levels they will be able to accept are the middle school grade levels. For the college level, they will automatically attend Royal University if they still want to stay longer there. Most of the students are planning to attend university in other countries, so there are only limited specializations that the Royal University can offer. The fact that the whole institution is handled by wealthy families, people who are not in the same level as them will never understand how it works. 

Gia took her phone out from her pocket and dialed Itsuki's number. Instead of hearing his voice, she heard the call operator's voice. She ended the call and decided to go to his office just to find out where he was. The four groups' offices were all empty. Lauren looked around and didn't see Kazuma, so she thought that he might just be busy with his personal matters. That's what she always notices about him. He is always busy. It's either academic or business matters. He barely talks about his personal matters. Perhaps, only to her. They are already in their second year in high school but she can count on her fingers how many times they talked. 

It's finally music night. The whole place is jam-packed but they manage to get some spots in front. The first one to perform is a famous band group from the entertainment industry. There were students who already left after a few songs and then, the lights suddenly went off. Fuyu, who has always been afraid of the dark, held on to her brother's arm tightly. She shut her eyes when the lights went back on and when it was no longer blinding her, she froze on her spot when she saw him. 

The crowd started to cheer for them. Itsuki is the guitarist; Rui is the bassist; Riku is the pianist; Kenta is the drummer; Shohei is the DJ; and Sho is the vocalist. She noticed the band-aids wrapped around his fingers. They started playing and he kept his eyes upon her. She didn't know that he could play a guitar. He is the blonde guy she saw earlier backstage.
