Bad News

After a while of sailing, a giant cow suddenly rose from the sea and lifted the boat in the air, shocking almost everyone on board. Luffy shouted "WOAH!" before punching the Cow Sea King in the head and forcing it to take them to Cocoyashi.

The Sea King cried and sped away extremely fast, swimming to Cocoyashi as Luffy laughed, Yosaku held on for dear life, Sanji complained, and Thirteen sat quietly.

Sanji looked at Thirteen and said "You're calm." Thirteen looked up from his book and replied "I've heard about Sea Kings before." Sanji rolled his eyes and tried to light a cigarette to no avail before sighing.

Suddenly, the Sea King made a sharp turn and the ship flew off it's back at the island. Luffy held onto the ship and laughed as they 'sailed' through the air, while Sanji and Yosaku held onto the ship, and Thirteen just sat there, closing his book.

The ship crashed into a tree, as well as Zoro.

Thirteen flipped off the ship, holding his book as he landed on his feet. He turned his head to Zoro, who was laid out on the ground before kicking him. Zoro got up and roared "CAN YOU WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING?!" Luffy jumped out and laughed, saying "Sorry! Shishishishi!"

Sanji followed after him and said "Oh look who it is. You looked better on the ground, Moss Head." Yosaku stumbled off the ship and tripped on the railing, smashing into the ground.

Thirteen watched silently before nodding at Luffy and walking away, Luffy said "Hey! Wait! Where you going?" Thirteen replied "Leaving." Luffy said 'Woah! You can't go!" Thirteen stopped and said "Why not."

Luffy scratched his head and looked around before saying "Because I don't want you to go!" Thirteen stayed silent when suddenly, Johnny ran over and shouted "Guys! Guys!" everyone turned his attention to him and he started speaking frantically "Nami! She! She's not who we thought she was! She! She's with the Arlong Pirates! She was just using us for money!"

Luffy tilted his head and Sanji said "What did you say about my Nami-shwan?!" Johnny waved his arms and said "It's true! I saw her kill Usopp with my own eyes!" The air froze and Luffy's eyes widened, Thirteen opened his mouth unable to say anything, while Sanji and Zoro just stared at him in disbelief.

Johnny held his knees and took deep breaths as he finished.

Thirteen looked at Johnny, closing his mouth before walking off. Luffy watched him go but didn't say anything this time.

Thirteen disappeared from the scene and continued walking on the island. He held the book in his hands as he went, looking around. He looked at all the trees and things before stopping in front of an octopus fishman, the fishman looked at Thirteen and said "A Mink?" Thirteen nodded and replied "Fishman."

The octopus smiled and said "I'm Hatchi! Nice to meet you!" Thirteen nodded and moved to the side to walk away, when Hatchi grabbed his shoulder saying "Hold on, friend."

Thirteen turned his head to him and Hatchi suddenly had a serious look on his face as he stared at Thirteen's chest, saying "Are you the Mink that escaped?" while he pointed at Thirteen's brand.

Thirteen looked at Hatchi's forehead and said "You escaped as well?" Hatchi patted his shoulder and said "Yep. Good for you, Mink friend." Thirteen nodded at him before saying "My name is Thirteen." as he walked away.

Hatchi watched him go and waved "Bye, Thirteen!" Thirteen waved his tail and walked off, leaving Hatchi there, who smiled and said "What a nice guy!" before continuing with his day, humming to himself.

Thirteen came across an orchard full of tangerine trees. He looked around before taking a tangerine and eating it. He stopped as he chewed and looked around before noticing a house. He walked towards the house and opened the door quietly looking inside, when he noticed there was no one inside, he walked in and closed the door behind him.

He walked around the house and rifled through drawers and cupboards, looking for a sack or bag. He finally found a big backpack and took it before walking away. On his way out, he stopped and looked at a picture.

It was a picture of 3 women. One of them had pink hair that was shaved on both sides with a long ponytail, another was a little girl with blue hair, while the last one was a little girl with orange hair.

He picked up the picture and realized the orange haired girl was, in fact, Nami!

Before he could process whose house he was in, his ear twitched and he looked at the door.

The door opened and revealed Nami with dirty hands. She walked in and sighed as she passed the picture Thirteen was just holding. She looked at it and noticed it had been moved, she immediately took out a new baton and shouted "Who's there!?"
