Chapter 54: Another green eyed girl

Chapter 54: Another green eyed girl

Eloise POV

Before I became Emily's mother, I was once upon a time a green eyed girl who had a thing for taking care of goats.

I have never thought about why I was so comfortable around them except they represented everything I found fascinated, everything I found endearing.

They were sociable animals while I wasn't.

While a goat can slip into depression when isolated, I tend to thrive in it.

Goats are neat freaks but growing up I had no problem getting my hands dirty.

They are intelligent, inquisitive and they have this constant desire to explore and investigate unfamiliar things and the desire to seek out things that are new and shiny and most atimes, they get into trouble for their curiosity.

Wait? I am describing Emily?

Of course not, there is no way my kid had the same attributes as a baby goat.
