Chapter 8 Evolution

After the encounter with Justin, I made my way to the food counter and bought a bottle of Moomoo milk after that I made my way to the attic

after pulling out a bowl and pouring milk in it I pulled out Toxel's Pokeball from my jacket and called out Toxel. The upper half of its body also has a small pale lavender-white spot on its chest, heavily resembling a baby's bib. Its lower half is light purple with lines running down the sides, making the bottom half resemble a diaper, which entirely covers its short tapering tail. Its arms and legs have two stubby fingers and toes each with three spots on the bottom; one on each toe and one on the very bottom of its foot. Toxel also has two white spots on its back, just below its head.

It stared at me then at the bowl then at the bowl

and fell straight face-first on the floor

" Hey little buddy now " I caught Him and placed him near the bowl

The Toxel looked at me with curiosity and interest as if asking where the previous trainer was.

" hmm the other trainer was taking care of you for me," I said nodding to him this was the simplest lie and would have fooled no one unless they were a fool but Toxel was just a baby who doesn't know the way of the world

He looked at me for a minute then started making the croaking while he drank.

I rubbed his head

A month passed

The days passed in a blur as we were engrossed in the training. Frogadier was nearing his evolution and his Extreme speed training was going at a good pace. while Golett and pancham trained together while Golett teaching Pancham Tm moves

Pancham learned taunt, Slash and crunch while he learned fire punch, ice punch, thunder punch, Dig and protect

Golett learned Thief, Protect, Earthquake, Focus Blast

Now that was a good training time, I had learned a new trick with Golett that is after using Defense curl and then using Rollout the speed and attacking power increased

another about Golett was that he could learn the move gravity

now I just have to train gravity and then use it for training this was a method which I had seen in some of the fanfic to maximize training

While Toxel was trained in wild areas for using its poison ability. Toxel liked being alone so usually, I just leave him to do his thing in the training but while fighting I took control teaching him a basic instinct to follow me.

" Hey, Grey Iris called you " I looked to my left to see Justin peaking out from behind the door

I picked up my bag and donned a cap cowl

Today was an important mission. we were told to go to an abandoned research facility in ward One which was one of the areas which weres dangerous so we were sent as a team of three people.

I pulled on the door and entered the office where Iris, Paul and the Eye patch guy stood I claimed my spot to the left. Iris then started her presentation where she told us the whereabouts research facility.

" This will be a secret mission sophisticated all items and documents and kill all the people present we don't want any witnesses" Iris eyed me then looked away

" Try to steal any information while we make a distraction, " She said

" Distraction? " The eyepatch guy asked

" Yes while you will be there we will distract the Poison Members " Iris confirmed

" Why are we doing this may I ask? " I asked

Paul scoffed

" What is there to know about we just have to steal, " He said

I was not deterred

" Hmm we have information that The white suits are working with the poison gang to get something which we believe will be disastrous for the Riverside " She explained

" But aren't we here to just steal why not just run away, " Eye patch guy asked

" No while we are known for the brutality we do not uphold evil Dark types are never evil in their ways only brutal that is the main misconception" Iris clarified then turned her back to us

We took our leave after that and soon after paul just ran away with a huff

" So what is your name, " I asked the eye patch

" well my name is Jack, " He said looking nervous

" My name is Grey wanna battle, " I asked going straight to the point

" Sure " He clasped my hand

we then went to a battleground in the building this time there were some people around

we then found a referee to officiate a match

" So it will be a three-on-three,", Jack asked looking nervous

" Yes " I clarified and looked at him in amusement

I pulled out Frogadier's pokeball as it was my ace.

Jack pulled out a pokeball hanging from his belt

" Go frogadier " I shouted

" Go Incineroar " Jack shouted at the same time

with a flash incineroar appeared. Incineroar is a humanoid feline Pokémon with a muscular build. It has a short snout with a small red nose, bright green eyes with yellow sclerae, and tiny, pointed ears. Large tufts of red fur extend from its cheeks, and much of its face is also red. The upper half of its muzzle and the top and back of its head is black. A thin red stripe runs vertically along its head to its snout, where it splits into a V-shape over its eyes. Its torso is grey with several black stripes and seems to resemble a wrestler's tank top; the front and back both have a single vertical stripe up the centre, crossed by two horizontal lines. Around Incineroar's waist is a belt formed from flames that somewhat resembles a championship wrestling belt. In the front centre is a small, yellow flame shape. The arms, legs, and tail are all red with black stripes forming bands around them. The arms have three stripes, spiky tufts of black fur over the shoulders, and large five-fingered hands with white claws and a single light red pad on the palm. Its legs have only two stripes and simple three-toed paws, and the tail has one stripe and a tuft of spiky black fur around the tip with a muscular build. ' The hell is a fully evolved starter isn't he supposed to be a newbie too ' I thought then calmed down. the fire type was weak against Frogadier but Incineroar had fighting-type moves which will deal the most damage

" Incineroar use to bulk up " Incineroar took a stance and suddenly glowed red with veins popping around his arms

" Frogadier quick attack and use power up punch" trying to use an attack which is weak against him

Frogadier appeared with a power-up punch and hit him in his stomach which caused the air to be sucked out of Incineroar

" Use Thunder punch " Jack yelled out. Incineroar grinned then charged a thunder punch hitting straight at Frogadier and blasting him apart.

people sucked their breath but what they saw shocked them instead of Frogadier's innards it was a substitute

Frogadier appeared in the air with a ball of ice in his mouth

" Now use ice beam " I shouted

a beam of pure ice hit incineroar which flattened him down the ground with a crater appearing

Frogadier came down but just as he was about to touch down jack spoke

" now use Darkest Lariat " Jack yelled

I could only widen my eyes

Incineroar jumped up and attacked with both his arms violently with his hands dark

This hit Frogadier knocking him far in the air

without missing a beat jack commanded

" now use brick break " Incineroar jumped up and with the flat of his hand chopped at Frogadier who had not recovered

Bam

Frogadier fell flat on the ground making a crater around him

" This match goes to...."

I was about to run to the ground to look at Frogadier's injury when a bright light shinned out of nowhere

Frogadier's form glowed in light as his shape shifted and grew

Greninja is a bipedal, frog-like pokemon. It is mostly black with a grey chest, a white triangular marking over each eye, a light grey four-pointed star on each thigh, and yellow on the lower half of its face. It has red eyes with white pupils and its mouth is hidden behind a large, red tongue that wraps around its neck and extends outward behind its head. Running down the middle of its head is a fin-like extension, and there is a similar fin on each side of its head. black webbing connects its head fins. There is a large, white bubble-like bump on each elbow and knee. Its back feet have two toes, while its front feet have three toes. Each digit has a bulbous tip and yellow webbing.

" Gerninja use water shuriken" a move learned on evolution

Gerninja then pulled up his arms and compressed water in his palm with a dash which was so fast that I almost couldn't see him

Gerninja shot out water shuriken which hit Incineroar all over his body with a blinding move making him kneel down

Gerninja's eyes went red for a second then he rushed forward and hit him with a series of a fast blinding flurry of glowing hits knocking him against the wall which cracked with sheer force.

Acrobatics is a very dangerous move which is boosted if the user does not have a held item.

" Incineroar is fainted the winner is Gerninja " The referee yelled coming out of a stupor with that Gerninja knelt and fainted while kneeling

I walked over to Gerninja

" You did good buddy," I said while kneeling down

and sprayed him with a potion
