Chapter 15 Mystery

It took about three more days for Gerninja to recover from the damage. after that, we spend time looting the old Dark gang's Tm collection which was vast. Gerninja learned Mat block quite easily as it was a move their line learned on evolution.

The mat block was different from the hames. The Pokemon pulled up a layer of earth's crust like a Mat and throws it towards the opponent.

While Pangoro taught Gerninja night slash and feint attack. The feint attack was just a variation of night slash in the use.

After that, we spend some time on a Move. Shadow sneak. this move will improve Gerninja's movement and evasiveness. Shadow sneak was a broken move if used properly but it required shadows to work properly the more the better.

Now that Gerninja was on his third evo we could really up the practice. I let Golett use max Gravity which was not much as it required training for more gravity. But this caused Gerninja to sweat. while Pangoro Huffed.

After a Pokemon reaches max amount of evolution their species allowed the Pokemon can use their attribute to make new moves. Gerninja had Hydrokinesis which can be used to make powerful full tools or attacks while Gerninja could not attempt an aquajet now or try making a fricking Susanoo But he could try to form wings and stuff for fighting.

'Now that was a cool idea making a Susanoo destroy The fricking Ground.' I mused

After that, we trained on a low kick

The moves that I used on Gerninja as Tm were Rain dance, Work up, Brutal swing and surf

The combination of Surf and Ice beams could do some massive damage on the field. While Work up will raise attack.

Pangoro learned Bullet punch which will do damage and retain speed with it being a steel type will pack a meaner punch.

I used the TMs for Mega punch and mega kick while also teaching Hyper beam as a ranged all-out attack and Giga impact.

Golett learned Iron defence which will be crucial as using Iron defence, Defense curl and Rollout will do a massively damaging attack and it is our main arsenal for movement and close-up with the opponent for Punches.

Golett also learned Mega punch and kick

I was also teaching Golett to learn Phantom force which will help to dodge.

I am planning To use Golett as a set-up advance for the Time being until he evolved. so I used Stealth rock for set up and Telekinesis to hold a Pokemon in place if it is faster.

While I also taught Ice beam as a ranged attack. other attacks such as astonish and mud slap will be helpful.

While Toxel didn't have any worthwhile moves till he evolved.

I sighed as I leaned back While Pangoro tried to destroy the metal pillar with his punches.

Golett concentrated on using Gravity after a while he stooped and then used Telekinesis instead of Gravity.

Gerninja was practising his Hydrokinesis while making Butterfly wings. while he could not fly he could hover or glide.

Gerninja crouched and then used Work to boost his physical capability. His thighs bulged and then he jumped high in the air after that he formed Butterfly wings and then glided back to the ground.

Suddenly inspiration hit me while I stroked Toxel who was in my lap

" Hey Gerninja try making a ring of water around you " I yelled out

Gerninja flattered then looked at me after some time and nodded

A ring of Water formed around him floating.

" Now sharpen the edges and try to move it around like this " I stood up placing Toxel down on the chair.

I pulled out a hula hoop from the trash and showed how

Gerninja nodded then moved to try to mimic. the water moved like as if bound by a string after enough momentum was reached I spoke

" Now release it on that pile of debris " I pointed

The ring flowed out like a disk and parted away the debris from the middle causing an avalanche of debris

Pangoro who was looking at the spectacle yelled out loud as he started punching with renewed vigour

After a while, Jack came out carrying a heavy black back and dumped it next to me with a heavy clang

" Hey Grey we have to talk, " He said

I stood up carefully

" What is it? " I rasped

" Well we have to go inside the gym so we need fighting equipment ourselves " Jack spoke carefully gauging my expression

I nodded. in this world when war happens all fight both Pokemon and humans none is going to stand there while you order your Pokemon

so sometimes you have to even fight Pokemon.

I crouched down and opened the bag

Inside were an assortment of weapons and armour.

I pulled out a chest piece some leg guards and arm guards of my size.

While I didn't have any prior training even with armour but I could still learn some basics in time and what we are going to do is infiltrate and demolish.

For weapons, there were long blades, Katanas and even Hammers.

I sighed at the assortment of weapon

" Do you have any daggers or Kunais?" I asked with a frown

Jack bent down and ruffled through the bag and pulled out a rolled cloth

I took the cloth and unrolled it.

There were five sets of Six Kunai all enough fit enough for a fight.

I looked up at Jack Inquisitively

" Found them in Iris's Desk with some clothing as well. " He shrugged

" Any katanas or other weapon," I asked dryly in a joke

" Yes a straight single-edged sword " He answered seriously

' Didn't get the joke huh ' I mused

While it was a pretty well-known fact about Iris's obsession with Ninjas. but still, I won't be able to use the sword without prior training

" Do you have any training in Katanas?" I asked Jake

" Well all sword techniques are almost universal so yeah I can use Katanas in a pinch " Jack answered

" Teach me," I said as I pulled out the sword

The sword was a straight single-edged Katana. These types of swords were called Ninjato swords as Ninjato are shorter but Ninjato swords were larger like Katanas but with no curve. The swords did look like The Thousand Demon dagger but the blade itself was a normal steel blade.

I levelled the sword to my Eyesight

" Sure " Jack replied As he pulled out His Longsword

The Day went on as I trained With Jack in learning the sword.

It was hard to practice but my training with my sledge walking down Mt frizzle did help me in building some muscle.

I learned basic slash and block while dodging and stabbing was my priority for now

It took me a week to prepare for the Infiltration

I pulled on my chest piece and other armour which I had oiled for the occasion. donning a Poncho without a hood.

We jumped from roof to roof with Me, Jack and Justin.

We arrived at the Gym area which was demolished with only the Gym still standing it was pretty obvious where to find the gym as a massive beacon of black energy rose from the top

The building was a large dome-shaped building with a square building near it. A large fat antenna-like thing on top.

I crouched next to a bush with Jack next to me.

I inspected the building seeking two people on the roof.

" Two on the roof " I whispered

" Three on the ground " Jack whispered back.

" Do you have the explosive " I looked at him

" Yes, here two for you two for me " he handed me Two C4

" Here I will look out if I find any trouble " Justin

I looked to my left and then right and suddenly I dashed towards the gym gate With Jack trailing me.

We entered the metal door which had been unoccupied for time being as the guards did a round.

Usually, there are fossils in the said museum but after the attack, all Fossils were taken away for protection.

I motioned Jack to look around while I go down the basement.

The basement was on the east side I went down the stairs in the dark.

The basement was large with hallways built inside. I looked down at the floor The floor was filled with dust after years of being unoccupied but fresh trails of boots and paws were still there.

Ignoring the paws I followed the boots. leading me to a massive metal door.

" Now this looks suspicious," I said to myself

I pushed the metal door but slowly to avoid the screeching noise.

Slowly I entered the Darkroom

once my eyes settled to look in the darkness what I saw made my Jaw drop in bafflement and surprise.
