When Ethen returned to his room, he took out a notebook to make a training plan for his pokemon for upcoming tournament. As per Ethen's review while training Scyther and Nidoran, he found these,

- Gold Level pokemon take around 4 weeks to train a move to intermediate level and 8 weeks to train a move at Elite Level.

-He also checked if he trained single move at one time then he can reach intermediate mastery level easily within 3 weeks or 1-2 days more. But in case of Elite moves he needed 8 Weeks id trained one move until that mastery level, but this duration can be decreased if trained in wild against wild pokemon.

So from this he can decide as he has around 9 Weeks (60 days), so he can decide on a proper plan for training moves, Now he can't train his Deino for more 20+ days in moves but can do some physical training and for others he can train them. So he decided as follows,

Scyther: Metal Claw to Elite Level (Needed around 6 weeks more) and Steel wing to Intermediate Level.

Nidoran: Toxic to elite Level (Needed around 6 Weeks) and Disable to Intermediate Level.

Riolu: Agility and Metal Claw to Intermediate Level. As Riolu has Silver Potential so it may take longer than Ethen's other pokemon. So his first target is Agility and if possible then Metal Claw.

Deino: By the time Deino can train in moves, there will be only around 5 Weeks left, so he will train, Focus Energy and Dragon Breath to Intermediate level as if it has Gold Potential then atleast one of two moves can be trained to Intermediate Level and if he has Diamond Potential then both can be trained to Intermediate Level and from this Ethen can understand what potential his pokemon has.

After Making plans of which moves to be trained, he also wanted to focus on training his pokemon in physical endurance, he checked system of inbuilt training ground and found that there were four sections, Gravity, Windy, Obstacles and Normal. He can choose what level gravity or wind pressure he wants.

He decided to train his pokemon on single moves for 5 hours a day and he gave 3 hours for other physical training which included 1 hour in each section.

After planning he checked that he has lectures of 2 hours on theoretical part and after that a training lecture twice a week for 1 hour, so he had plenty of time to train his pokemon after that, and he can also leave his pokemon to train moves on their own, Scyther was there to take care of them so he decided to keep only Deino along with him while lectures as it was still a baby pokemon.

After planning everything he explained his pokemon about what to do and he also decided to do physical training after he returns from lectures.

He also contacted his grandfather to send him poke food good for dragon and dark type pokemon if possible after 15 days so that he can start feeding his Deino with special food as till a pokemon turn atleast 20 days old they cannot eat anything and can only drink milk, even after 20 days a trainer should slowly start feeding them solid food so they won't get trouble digesting food, that's why Ethen wanted his grandpa to send him food after 15 days.

Next Day:

It was quite early in the morning and Ethen still had 2 hrs before his lectures starts, so he first fed his pokemon with their respective diet and after that he brought them to Normal training section in his room where he was going to let them train their moves, He adjusted target settings to moving targets for his pokemon and informed them about what they will be doing today, He watched their training session for 1 hr and after that he told Scyther to keep an eye on other pokemons too and left for his lectures along with Deino.

After breakfast when he reached to his classroom, he saw Professor Oak was already there, waiting for students, there were few students who were already there in classroom and others were yet to come. Ethen entered classroom and greeted Professor Oak, who smiled at Ethen and told him to take his seat, Ethen was already quite famous due to his achievements in Competitive Exam and later in first year, so almost all of the teacher in university knew about him, but still in eyes of teacher, those who can train their pokemon well are only eligible to become a trainer and others can choose other profession as per their expertise so Ethen wasn't given any additional privileges till now.

After some time all students reached classroom and professor Oak started, "I have already removed names of faculty from registration of pokeballs you received yesterday, so today you can get your pokemon registered in your pokedex if you haven't done till now." After he finished he waited for sometime as students immediately started registering their pokemon under their names.

After sometime passed, Professor Oak coughed to get attention of all students back to him and again started, "As you must have already checked booklet, second year onwards its compulsory for you students to participate in minimum of 3 Tours arranged by university and along with that you will have to do a minimum of 10 D-Level Task and 5- C Level Task in whole year and if you do more than that then you receive some additional bounty from university at end of year and if you fail to complete previously mentioned task, you will be directly disqualify before Tournament and thus you will be considered to fail in Second Year."

"You can start with taking task after three months only so to be fair with everyone here and there will be a total of 5 tours arranged of 7-10 days within span of next 6 months (After 3 month period) and in 10th month their will be one tournament among students of your class followed by written examination. Also note that you will have to have a minimum of 3 pokemons before tournament or else you won't be allowed to participate." Professor Oak said.

"Is there any doubt from anyone ?" Asked Professor Oak and waited for few minutes and after confirming that no one has any doubt, he said, "I will be leaving now and all the best for your new year, I hope to see you in next year too." And he left.

After he left their were two lectures of theory which were part of first semester, Ethen returned to his room after all lectures were over and saw that his pokemon were training with utmost seriousness. He was glad that they were following the schedule as he fixed for them. As per his Schedule, Physical training was at end of the day and before that his pokemon were allowed to take a break of 1 hour so they don't get too tired from intense training.
