PSM-16

Five friends were standing and it was Ethen who was going to show his pokemon first, he called out his pokemon Deino which he received from University, Deino who was standing beside Ethen was looking around curiously towards Ethen's friends. (*I didn't explain appearance of Deino again because I already did in last chapter and about how Deino can look, so even if its eyes are covered with fur, can't we take it as its looking towards you if its face is towards you.)

After that Max called out pokemon he received and it was a small, bipedal dragon-like Pokemon of blue color. It had a big mouth filled with sharp teeth, no neck, and arms that was starting at the outer edges of its jaws. There was a red underbelly which stretched from its abdomen to the bottom of its jaw. It had two horns that resembled jet or plane engines, each with a light blue stripe in the middle.

It was a Gible, one of the Pseudo Legendries which were given this year to students.

After Max it was Shauna's turn to show her pokemon and she also called out her pokemon, it looked like a sneasel but it wasn't dark color as everyone had seen, instead it had a white and purple body with its left ear colored light purple. The face, shoulders, and chest had dark purple spots and there was a yellow gem on both its head and chest. The two toes on each foot were closed, and its eyes were much rounder than normal Sneasel.

"Isn't it a Sneasel ? Why it looks different than normal Sneasel I saw on Television ?" Asked Ethen who was curious to see this Sneasel who was completely different from what he has seen.

"It must be those kind of pokemon which are born with different color than their other counterparts." (*Shiny*) Said Max who was also curiously looking at Sneasel.

"At first I also thought what Max is thinking but later when I checked on Pokedex, it was showing its Fighting/Poison type form of Sneasel found in a very secluded location of Sinnoh region, Sinnoh was known as Hisui region in past and some pokemon there were little different from their counterparts in other regions . As we were taught in first year about how some pokemon are different from same counterparts in other region due to the climate effect of region, it must be similar to that." Said Shauna, who was happy to see this unique pokemon. (*For those who may not know about Hisui region, its a region introduced in Generation 8 of Pokemon Anime "Pokemon Legends: Arceus" yet to release)

"Wow, you are really lucky Shauna." Said Ethen who was now a little envious because he also wanted a pokemon who is different than its counterpart in Kanto.

"Yeah may be and I am lucky to get a fighting type in my team." Said Shauna who was a little proud at the moment and satisfied with looks on her friends' faces.

"Ok, alright lets continue, Janina and Tommy are still left, quickly show us your pokemon." Said Max impatiently.

Next it was Tommy's turn and he called out pokemon he received, it was a light-blue, penguin-like Pokémon. It had a dark blue head with a primarily white face and a short, yellow beak. The dark blue feathers on its head extended down its back and around its neck, which looked like it was wearing a cape. There were two white ovals on its chest and a small, light-blue marking resembled a crown above its beak. It had flipper-like arms and yellow feet with three toes each.

Tommy received one of the starters from Sinnoh region, Piplup.

Now at last it was time for Janina to show what pokemon she received, she called out her pokemon and it was a robotic Pokémon that had a long body with a set of claws sticking out of its rear end. It had one large, red eye in the center of its nearly spherical head, which was set into a ball-and-socket joint at its front end. A short crest projected from its body and extended over its head.

It was also one of the Pseudo legendary pokemon, Beldum.

"Wow, so in our team three got Pseudo Legendary and other two also got super rare pokemons." Max was excited to see that all his friends got pokemon which can become too powerful in coming future.

"Yeah, but we are still left with one more thing, Shauna and Janina you haven't shown us which pokemon you caught in the vacation." Said Ethen who was looking curiously towards two girls.

"Yeah, how can I forget that." Said Max while smacking back of his head softly.

Shauna and Janina looked at each other then finally after sometime both of them pulled out a pokeball each and threw in air at same time, two pokemons appeared in vision of three boys.

First one (Belonging to Shauna) was a bipedal, beetle-like Pokémon covered in a blue exoskeleton. There was a long, pronged horn on its forehead. On either side of the horn was a short antenna with a spherical tip. It had oval, yellow eyes. Its forearms had a pair of spikes near the wrists, while its thighs had a single spike each. It had two claws on its hands, and a single long claw on each foot. There was a single pair of wings covered by its carapace.

Second one (Belonging to Janina) was a bipedal Pokémon that had a red body with a yellow, flame-shaped marking on its stomach. Its head was covered with large lumps, and it had a rounded, yellow beak. There was a single spike on its back and it had a tapered tail. Its short arms had three clawed fingers, while its feet had only two clawed toes.

These were Heracross and Magby, and Shauna's Heracross seemed a little powerful but Janina's Magby was still at Rookie level as per rough estimation of Ethen. Now Ethen checked on how many pokemon his friends had these are list,

Ethen looked at his friends and then at their pokemon and got an idea, "Guys, I have a plan, as our all pokemons will be trainable and we don't have to go out in field for atleast 3 months then why don't we organize an event of ourselves after 2 months, we can train on our own for 2 months and than organize a tournament and then we can see who is most powerful among us."

Every one also looked excited for this tournament and so they nodded but Max came up with a question, "We are 5 here so what will be rules of Tournament ?"

"We all will fight with each other atleast once in first round in 2 vs 2 battle and first two with highest win will directly go to Finals and battle with each other in 3 vs 3 battle. Is this rule fine ?" Said Ethen.

"Yes, it seems good idea." Said Max while nodding.

"Yes, I also think it will be a great idea." Said Shauna. Tommy and Janina also agreed with this.

So all five finally decided about dates and it was decided that they will battle after 60 days and they can train on their own or take sparring help from others except participants for this tournament. After that they just sat in one corner and their pokemon were in middle of field playing with each other.
