The tour ended early and they were free to go. The academy only held classes in the morning. They agreed to eat lunch together with their pokemon to increase their group's teamwork.

Leon appraised their pokemon while also taking out his.
Both Woody and Mark were not even surprised when he took out a ditto. They expected as much since they felt that Leon was a bit different than others.
After Toshi's battle, the appraisal system had a minor update and Leon could now see the pokemon's Soul Bound.
The pokemon had gathered and ate their meal together. They instantly became friends. The academy's cafeteria was big enough for pokemon to eat alongside with their trainers. Once done with their lunch, Leon and his groupmates had promised to do this again tomorrow and went on their separate ways.
Leon went back to Viridian City via Teleport. He wanted to go and check the Black Market's whereabouts by using his aura and psychic skills to ask around. He later found out its location, as well as, the code for entering the place. He also discovered that there would be an auction happening later tonight and they're willing to include any pokemon or items of great value.
Leon saw this as an opportunity to make some money. He planned to go and spend his entire afternoon at the Viridian Forest to search for pokemon and sell them in the auction.
This world didn't limit the number of pokemon you could carry or use, as long as, you are able to feed and take good care of them, he thought. Leon already had a couple of pokemon in mind to add to his team.
After he bought some supplies, he headed straight to the forest.
