Ova 2: That Fearsome Piano: Part 1

[One month later] [Summer — 11:00 a.m.]

Currently we can see Touya sitting in the living room signing the documents for the new Route 21 Marine tube taking into account the safety of the pokemon as well as not having any impact in their marine environment.

Supporting him was Larvesta, who danced ironically like a worm and encouraged him while he was on his head.

And after signing a few more documents, Touya finished the paperwork and fell tired on the couch.

"Thank you for the moral support" Touya told Larvesta who tiredly stopped dancing and settled down next to him.

Just at that moment Touya's mother came down the stairs and saw Larvesta with her son lying on the sofa like sacks of potatoes.

"How are you doing son? You seem too tired" Touya's mother said to him a little worried making him respond tiredly.

"I'm done with the Marine tube, I still have to find a replacement for Junco who has a few months left before retiring, the same for Aloe, plus Iris wants to be part of the elite four and obviously I have to kill Mirto" said Touya enumerating his work left tiredly and at the end with a chilling aura.

"How about we go on vacation to Undella Town now that it's summer?" Touya's mom said with excitement and anticipation.

"There is already a sea in front of us, I could just take a few steps and throw myself off the dock, that would be a better solution" Touya said with a gloomy tone and quite tired.

"Always so dramatic, come on you deserve a break now!" Touya's mom said in a tired tone at first and then seriously.

"Yes mom" Touya said getting up immediately and starting to look for his things making his mother smile victoriously.

After this, Touya and his mother went to Undella Town together with Reshiram arriving in less than two hours.

"I'll go to rent the rooms, you try to relax" Touya's mother said with Larvesta on her shoulder, making him settle down and look at the sea.

Touya took off his jacket and shoes and put them in his bag and then sat on the sand enjoying the sound of the waves for a moment with his black shirt.

And just as he was enjoying the soothing sound of the waves, Touya heard what seemed to be a piano in the distance with a rather intimidating melody somehow.

Having nothing better to do, he decided to follow the sound of the piano through Undella city until he reached a house whose door was open.

"This seems like the typical place where I would find a secret boss in a video game" Touya said with a bit of reluctance as he easily saw how strange it was.

"Meh, it's better than nothing" Touya said with a shrug without giving it much thought.

Touya approached the entrance and looked inside, seeing a woman with long blonde hair covered in a black trench coat as she played the piano.

And just when he was going to knock on the door to get her attention, she stopped playing the piano and felt his presence somehow.

"Welcome guest of fate! You can come in" the blonde woman said turning around and welcoming Touya.

Touya looked at the entrance of the house as if it were some kind of threshold to another world, and after much consideration he managed to enter the house with difficulty.

The room was simple, some flowerpots and decorations, but nothing very remarkable besides the piano.

"Huhu, you seem to be quite shy, you are adorable" said the blonde woman approaching Touya making him see her better.

The woman wore a black trench coat that reached her calves along with pants and heels of the same color, (making her a couple of centimeters taller than Touya), a gray shirt and some strange ornaments in her hair.

Besides, her eyes seemed to be a light gray color, she had a fair complexion and was quite beautiful, so much so that Touya blushed for a moment and then quickly regained control.

"And what are you doing here young man?" the woman asked Touya curiously.

"E-ehh, sorry if I bothered you, I think I'd better go" Touya said a little nervous for the overwhelming woman.

"Maybe you could help me! They sent me to look for the champion of this region since it was reported that there was a change recently, and I was the closest in addition to being the only available" said the woman pointing at Touya with an explanatory tone.

"Ohh, I am Unova's champion, a pleasure my name is Touya" Touya said with a calm tone and curious to know why they are looking for him.

The woman leaned closer and looked seriously at Touya closely, making his face turn red again.

The woman closed her eyes and those ornaments in her hair began to move subtly and release a slight light, so that then she would open her eyes.

"Great! Your aura did not change that means you are telling the truth, although you do seem quite nervous" said the woman with an excited and slightly mocking smile.

"I introduce myself, you can call me Cynthia, I am the champion of Sinnoh, it is a pleasure to meet you fifth champion" said Cynthia introducing herself with elegance and calm.

"Fifth champion?" Touya asked, not very surprised that she is the champion.

"Huh? You don't seem very impressed by my revelation" Cynthia said a little surprised and disappointed to see how easily Touya took it.

"I'm sorry, I'm able to know a lot about a person just by looking at them for a moment, that's why it didn't surprise me much based on your personality, sorry if I bothered you at first" Touya said a little embarrassed while scratching the back of his neck.

"I see, that's why I felt a little chill at first" Cynthia said with understanding as she looked at Touya curiously and then smiled.

"You are interesting Touya, if you are curious, what you saw before the ornaments of my hair, they are what help me to feel the aura of people, an ability than few people have and that is innate in Lucario" Cynthia said with explanatory and proud tone and pointing her ornaments.

"And about the fifth champion, that's because this is the fifth region, mine is the fourth, so I'm the fourth champion" said Cynthia as she numbered with her fingers in an explanatory tone.

Touya thought for a moment and understood everything Cynthia said with a nod in approval.

"Wasn't the previous champion supposed to train and teach you for this?" Cynthia said a little confused seeing Touya's lack of knowledge.

"The previous champion gave me the position and ran away, he was a child in the mind of an old man" Touya said with a disappointed and tired tone.

'That explains why I have never seen him before' Cynthia thought with a nervous smile and a bead of sweat on the back of her neck.

Cynthia thought for a moment and had an exciting revelation.

"Listen Touya, I will teach you everything you need to be a champion, but you will have to give me something in return" Cynthia said pointing at Touya with excitement and expectation.

"And that would be?" Touya said raising an eyebrow curiously.

"Champions are always busy and I haven't had a good pokemon fight in a long time, what do you say?" Cynthia said impatiently and excitedly.

"Let's go!" Touya said also excited about the match against another champion.

"Then let's get started!" Cynthia said excitedly looking for a pokeball in her trench coat.

Cynthia threw a pokeball from which a strong and experienced looking Lucario came out and the pokeball gave off a different glow than usual with various stars and lights.

Touya threw a pokeball at the same time from which Sawk came out ready for combat, starting the fight.

"Lucario use extreme speed" Cynthia said with a clear and firm tone making Lucario react instantly.

"Use focus energy Sawk" Touya said reacting almost instantly.

Lucario moved toward Sawk with a speed that Sawk could barely move to the side in time to dodge the attack.

But this speed did not stop him from reacting on his own and kicking Lucario's right leg, causing him to stumble but recover quickly by doing a somersault in the air.

'This method is different, I have never seen a pokemon react by himself in that way' Cynthia thought looking at Touya with shock but more and more excited.

"Sawk use double kick and get closer" Touya said attacking first this time.

Sawk used bulk up as well and launched himself towards Lucario with great speed, to which Cynthia reacted with almost no difficulty.

"Lucario use aura sphere" Cynthia said focusing on the combat and making Lucario load a blue aura sphere in his hands almost instantly.

"Sawk use bulldoze" Touya said instantly when he saw said sphere.

Sawk hit the ground hard causing some flower pots in the room to shake and causing Lucario to lose his balance a bit.

Even so, he managed to fire his attack to which Sawk deactivated his bulk up and dodged said attack with difficulty due to the proximity of him.

"Sawk use close combat" Touya said when he saw that Sawk was close enough.

"Lucario use close combat too" Cynthia said at almost the same time which seemed very excited.

Sawk and Lucario traded blows between them while blocking and receiving attacks from each other.

Lucario was more experienced and seemed to have a significant advantage in hand to hand combat.

"Sawk use low sweep" Touya said to Sawk making him kick Lucario's right shin and make him go backwards taking the advantage.

"Lucario use meteor mash" Cynthia said quickly and seriously when she saw that Lucario was losing his advantage.

Lucario snapped out of his current turmoil by what appeared to be the same inner focus ability Sawk has, then launched a metal-covered punch at high speed towards Sawk, hitting him in the face and taking the advantage again.

"Sawk use counter" Touya said excited by the fight and making Sawk come out of his confusion and hit back with double force with an open palm in Lucario's face.

"Lucario use dig and get out of there" Cynthia said apparently having a plan in mind.

Lucario took advantage of a second of confusion in Sawk and dug underground, breaking through the room's wooden floor and disappearing from sight.

'I'll have to pay for that later' Cynthia thought with a nervous smile seeing how little care she had with the room.

Touya and Sawk paid attention to their surroundings while the latter used focus energy to feel the vibrations that Lucario formed.

"Come out Lucario" Cynthia said making Lucario jump out from under Sawk and causing him to jump to dodge.

"Use aura sphere!" Cynthia said with a smile carrying out her plan.

Sawk was unable to dodge Lucario's sphere which was already quite close to him, so Touya decided to opt for another option.

"Sawk! Block the attack and use double kick!" Touya said making Sawk understand the idea of ​​him without difficulty.

Sawk tensed and expanded his muscles covering himself with his arms in x and receiving the aura sphere head on, which caused great damage and threw him towards the ceiling of the room.

But upon reaching the roof, Sawk double-kicked and mitigated the impact by causing a crater on the roof.

"Sawk use brick break and finish him off!" Touya said with seriousness and emotion.

Sawk double-kicked and propelled himself towards Lucario at high speed and ready to hit him with his right fist.

"Lucario use bone club and block it!" Cynthia said in shock at seeing Touya's crazy idea.

"Use double kick Sawk!" Touya said with excitement and anticipation.

Lucario formed a long bone from white energy to protect himself from Sawk's attack, which landed in front of him with his hands as a feint and used a double kick hitting Lucario with great force with both legs on the jaw and leaving him totally weakened.

And after this, Sawk also fell exhausted on the ground weakened by the pressure that said action put on his tired body.

"Good job Sawk" Touya said returning Sawk with a proud smile.

"That was very exciting Touya! You will have to tell me about your training method later, but first we have to continue with the fight" said Cynthia with curiosity returning Lucario to his pokeball with a smile and then throwing another pokeball.

From this pokeball came a large white pokemon with red and blue polka dots and large wings, which seemed to have a quite adorable and friendly appearance (Togekiss).

Touya also threw a pokeball from which Eelektross came out ready for combat, starting with the second match.

"Togekiss use shadow ball, stay away from him" Cynthia said seriously, this time keeping her distance.

"Eelektross use thunderbolt and get as close as possible" Touya said with a serious tone and exploiting her weakness.

Togekiss was fast in the air and stayed away from Eelektross while entertaining him with her attacks with ease, until he started using acrobatics on his own and getting closer and closer to her.

"Togekiss use reflect and then swift" Cynthia said to which Togekiss responded quickly.

"Eelektross use wild charge" Touya said reacting instantly.

Togekiss covered herself with a transparent barrier and launched some stars from his body that went directly towards Eelektross, which was covered with a strong electricity and charged towards her destroying her attack and hitting her directly.

"Togekiss use heat wave" Cynthia said as Eelektross stayed close to Togekiss.

Togekiss released a scorching wave that affected Eelektross quite a bit, which moved away from it due to the high temperature.

"Use aura sphere" Cynthia told Togekiss with excitement when she saw that she had the advantage.

Togekiss charged an aura sphere like Lucario with her wings, although it took longer than the latter to then launch it towards Eelektross.

"Eelektross dodge it and use thunderbolt" Touya said causing Eelektross to snap out of his confusion because of the heat wave.

Eelektross dodged the aura sphere using acrobatics and then launched a series of thunderbolts from his mouth directly towards Togekiss.

"Togekiss use protect" Cynthia said seriously causing Togekiss to react instantly.

Togekiss covered herself of the lightnings with a barrier in front of her, but when she looked again, Eelektross was gone.

"Eelektross catch her and use thunderbolt" Touya said quickly making Eelektross appear next to Togekiss.

"Togekiss use heat wave again!" Cynthia said a bit surprised by the sudden appearance of Eelektross.

Eelektross enveloped Togekiss with his body and used thunderbolt with a little distance, causing Togekiss's reflect not to stop him.

Still, Togekiss used heat wave from very close as well, dealing great damage to Eelektross and possibly a great burn.

Togekiss fell a moment later, leaving a weak and badly wounded Eelektross on the battlefield.

"You impress me Touya, but I haven't played my best cards yet" Cynthia said with a challenging smile and returning Togekiss to her pokeball.

"Same here Cynthia" said Touya also excited to have a good match after months.

Cynthia smiled widely and threw her next pokeball from which came out a pokemon similar to a sea serpent, quite majestic and elegant, which had a complexion similar to that of Eelektross and had pink and blue colors on her body, in addition to a length of more than 6 meters or so.

Eelektross seemed a bit distracted by this, but shook his head and took the fight seriously and getting it started.

"Milotic use mud shot" Cynthia said quickly starting with the attack and with her plan.

"Eelektross use flamethrower" Touya said reacting instantly.

Milotic covered herself with a brown aura and fired a shot of mud from her mouth, which was intercepted by Eelektross's flamethrower, causing it to harden and fall to the ground.

"Milotic use blizzard" Cynthia said with an excited smile.

Milotic covered herself with a white aura and threw a strong blizzard towards Eelektross, who was unable to dodge due to his weakness and unable to use flamethrower to counterattack.

"Eelektross use wild charge one last time" Touya said seeing that Eelektross couldn't resist this.

Eelektross covered himself in savage lightning bolts, which helped him a bit with frostbite from the blizzard, then shot off at full speed towards Milotic.

"Milotic use protect and block it" Cynthia said seriously as Milotic couldn't move due to making the blizzard.

Milotic protected herself with a barrier from the attack of Eelektross, which collided with it, being almost unconscious from the effort.

"Eelektross use thunder wave!" Touya said causing Eelektross to have a moment of lucidity and use thunder wave to later fall unconscious.

The thunder wave was not an attack itself, so the barrier did not work and Milotic was paralyzed.

Touya returned Eelektross to his pokeball quite proud of his performance, to then throw his next pokeball which Samurott came out of.

Like Eelektross this one was captivated by Milotic's beauty, but this time it was much worse, causing Samurott to be completely stunned by Milotic's beauty and even turn completely red.

"Hey idiot! I know she's pretty for your pokemon standards! But don't even think about being a horny teenager right now!" Touya told Samurott indignantly making him regain his composure and look at Touya with a bit of annoyance and quite offended.

"Huhu, it seems that you get along quite well, that's the most important thing" said Cynthia quite satisfied with the combat and the bonds of Touya and his pokemon.

And after this, the battle started again.
