Pokemon - A real story

There is a huge gap between the story of anime and the realistic story of Pokemon. This light novel closes that gap and gives the viewers a believable and exciting story with lots of adventure. Follow our protagonist Axel Blaze, a reincarnated person. With his knowledge of the previous Pokemon world, he hopes to dominate the world. But after he realizes how very wrong he was. This novel has a system, just to make things fun, the story is not focused on it though. "Success is like being pregnant, everyone says congratulations but nobody knows how many times you were fucked" So this novel tells the story of Axel blaze but all points of hidden difficulty he has to face to get it to there. -------- If you want to read advanced chapters earlier or just want to support me, you can do that at https://www.patreon.com/TheSilverPrince1 You can also visit my website and read 3 advanced chapters for free at: https://silver-prince.com/ (The story has a similar start as 'Pokemon - a mystical journey' so some people are probably confused. I wanted to say that only the beginning of the story is similar, not the later chapters and this story is not a copy.) Disclaimer: This is a fanfiction novel. So, the basics of the Pokemon world is not created by me. It belongs to "The Pokémon company".

Charizard the boss

BANGGGG

Charizard had stopped the attack with both hands. Its hands were covered in dragon scales and it seemed like the scales boosted its defense.

Charizard gave an evil smile and threw Charizard 1 in the air and

ROOOARRRR

It fired up hot flames toward Charizard 1. It was 'Flamethrower'.

Axel was not to help Charizard in this battle so he was just watching from the sidelines. He could see that Charizard had greatly powered up.

Charizard gave a loud roar and flame came from its body. The temperature of the battle stadium started to rise rapidly. Axel could see that vapors were coming out of the sand on the ground.

Then the places started to burn. Axel was far from the fighting site but even he could feel the heat from here and he was already using 'Aura coat'.

Flames covered its whole body and the temperature was too hot for everyone.

Charizard had activated 'Blaze'.

It started to do some weird dance and it started glowing. This was level 50 'Dragon dance' and its attack and speed were now very high.

Its wings started to shine in white and red light. An extra layer of flames covered its body and

BOOOOMMMM

It flew at breakneck speed and hit Charizard 1 in its chest with the attack. Charizard 1 flew to the ground and crashed!!!!

BANGGGGG

It was not going to wake up very soon. The battle was already over.

Charizard had won.

RROOOOAAARRRRRR!!!!!

Charizard started to spew out flames from its mouth announcing its victory. Finally, after 1 month of continuous training, it had won against this Charizard.

"Charizard, calm down. The battle is already over. You have won!!!", shouted Axel.

After hearing Axel's voice, Charizard deactivated 'Blaze' and it started to come down on the ground.

Axel patted on its shoulders saying that it had done a good job.

  ---

Ding!

Charizard has won against the top position of pseudo-king rank.

Ding!

A special quest has been completed. The host can now see the progress of his Pokemons in real-time when they are away.

  ---

A special quest has been completed and Axel could now see the progress of Charizard and Shedinja in real-time. That was good news.

###

"So, how long do you plan to stay here?", asked Elizabeth.

"I have to teach Charizard something. I would return after I have taught it.", said Axel.

He was happy with Charizard's training here. He could see that its fighting style was also starting to change and it was more effective than before.

The thing that Axel was going to teach it was its 'pre-domain' move.

Charizard had fulfilled all the requirements for king rank except for one. A Pokemon didn't need to have a pre-domain move if it was very strong as a pseudo-king rank.

However, pre-domain moves were recommended cause they could evolve into a domain move which would be essential for any Pokemon in the later stages.

Charizard didn't have a pre-domain move and Axel was planning to teach it one.

###

Axel wanted its pre-domain move to assist with its fire-type moves and dragon-type moves. He had been creating pre-domain moves for his Pokemons but he also needed some second opinion on it.

Red had helped other Pokemons of Axel in creating pre-domain moves so Axel asked Red again on how should they proceed.

"Axel, I have already told you this and I will say it again. A domain is somewhere a Pokemon could feel very comfortable and mighty. It is also a place where the opponent would feel weaker than in a normal situation.

This is the basic concept of a domain.

If you think that your Charizard would feel comfortable and mighty with dragon-type energy around it, then go for it. However, mixing 2 types of energy in the pre-domain move is unheard of. It is very hard to even create a pre-domain move, creating a pre-domain move with 2 types of energy is on another level.

Your Charizard may not be able to achieve it at this stage.", said Red.

Charizard was also hearing Red's advice and it gave a roar saying that it could do it.

Axel looked at it and said to Charizard, "Yes, we will create a pre-domain with fire-type and dragon-type energy. We will do the impossible."

If Axel was going to follow every advice of Red, then he would not be an original. He would just be a copy of Red. A part of his confidence also came from the system.

"The first thing you need to do is concentrate on your fire-type core and try to feel it. You have already done this before but I want you to do it again."

Charizard closed its eyes and started to feel its core and the energy inside it.

Axel had taught his other Pokemons on how to create a pre-domain this past month so he had some experience with it.

Pre-domain would basically use the core energy. That was why Red said that it was impossible to mix 2 energies at this stage cause Charizard only had one core right now.

Axel started to think. A domain was mostly used to power up a Pokemon but Axel felt that Charizard didn't need it. It already had 'Sunny day', 'Blaze' and 'Solar power'. Giving it too much power would also be detrimental as Charizard may not be able to handle the energy.

So, how about assisting it to make its moves stronger after it was released? That could be an interesting concept. Shedinja's domain also did the same thing. However, Shedinja's domain also powered it up. 'Shadow domain' may be the most powerful pre-domain of all of Axel's Pokemon.

"When you feel it, try to manipulate it and try to take that out of you. Spread it as far as you can."

Charizard started to do it. It was partly successful but it had failed.

Red was surprised that Charizard could be partly successful on its first try. However, Axel knew why it was able to do it. This was due to its passive move 'Flame control'.

Stage II of 'Flame control' would not only increase the flame temperature but also help it to manipulate the fire-type energy.

"OK, good job for your first time. Now do the same with dragon-type energy. This would be a bit harder for you cause you don't have a dragon-type core.

So, when you do this for fire-type energy 1 time, you should do this for dragon-type energy 3 times, and so on. This exercise would be very taxing and you need to rest after you are tired and fill up your core power.

Try some meditation and try to fill your core power as much as you can. You don't have to do it if you don't want to cause the core would naturally be filled up automatically. Meditating and trying to fill up your core power would just help you train faster."

###

Charizard started to do this training routine. It would also practice 'Dragon Claw' regularly cause Axel wanted its claw attacks to be faster. He also wanted its reaction time to be higher cause he wanted it to upgrade its agility stats.

This went on for 2 days and now Charizard knew what it should do for pre-domain and agility training. Axel also told it the next step on how the domain should assist it in making its moves powerful.

"Charizard, it is now time for me to go. I also have to train. I would come to visit you when you have created your pre-domain."

It was now time for goodbyes. Axel also had to train himself and his other Pokemons.

Red also had an Alakazam that could teleport them. It was weaker than Oak's Alakazam but its teleporting would still be a lot faster than the plane ride.

###

After 30 minutes

Blurfffffffff….

Axel was never going to get used to this teleporting. He was vomiting now and had been doing it for 5 minutes.

He called out Gyarados to wipe the vomit from the ground. His mom was very strict about cleanliness.

###

Axel started to look at the progress of his Pokemons in the past month. Alakazam was able to learn its pre-domain. He named it 'Psychic domain'. This move would increase the speed of its psychic attacks and also boost the duration of 'Enhance'.

Normally, 'Enhance' would increase all the stats of Alakazam by 50% but it could only do that for 5 seconds. While using this move inside the domain, Alakazam could use 'Enhance' for 10 seconds.

###

Steelix was still not able to learn its 'pre-domain' move. Axel had focused it on 'Ancient power'. Since Charizard could do it, Steelix must also be very close to it.

Some of its stats had increased but it needed to learn 'pre-domain'.

###

Nidoking was able to master its ability very early. 'Poison point' would normally have a certain chance to poison the target. Previously, when the target touches Nidoking it may have a chance to be poisoned. Now, the target would also get poisoned when Nidoking touches or attacks the target.

It had still not been able to master its ground core. Axel could have made it master the core with resources and could have done it very fast but Red strongly interjected on it.

"Axel, you told me that Nidoking could now have 2 cores. I don't know where you got the confidence from but even if you are confident, a core should not be mastered very fast.

This would make a Pokemon very hard to manipulate its core in the future. Nidoking would now have 2 cores so it should be done slowly. Don't hurry up on this."

Axel knew that there would be no problem for his Pokemons on this issue cause of the system. The system had specifically said that it would do anything to help and boost the moves of his Pokemons.

So, even if the core manipulation became hard, the system would counter it when his Pokemon were learning a new move or using the core for moves.

However, he did feel that since this was the first time one of his Pokemon was going to have 2 cores, he should do this slowly.

Till now only 80% of core mastery has been achieved and it would be completed in another half a month.

Nidoking was now trying to learn its pre-domain move. It would be a poison-type domain. It had discussed the concept with Axel and he believed that it would be successful in a few days.

###

Beedrill was also able to master its ability. It didn't actively use its ability before so it took some time to master it. Beedrill's ability was called 'Swarm'. As per the description, it was the bug version of Charizard's 'Blaze'. However, in practicality, both of them were very different.

'Blaze' would cause the entire surrounding to be covered by fire and highly powers up fire-type moves. However, 'Swarm' was different. Bug-type energy didn't come out and affected the surroundings. It did increase the power of bug-type move and when it was mastered, it could power up Beedrill's stats too.

This was very helpful cause it already had 'Resolve'. Boosting its body stats would make it even more powerful.

It had still not been able to create its pre-domain but Axel had also been training it to level up 'Laser focus' to 40. Moves like 'Laser focus' that increases the focus of a Pokemon were very hard to level up. Beedrill also had to master its ability so it was not completed till now. But it would be in the near future.

Beedrill also needed a new move. Axel wanted it to have a powerful bug-type attack move. However, he first wanted it to complete its pre-domain.

Axel had followed Red's advice and told it to roam around the forest to find its peers. It had quickly become the leader of the group inside the forest and it spends some of its time there now.

Axel could feel that the psychology of Beedrill had been changing bit by bit and it was turning out to be better.

Ranking up Pokemons to king rank was a hard thing to do. Axel was just realizing it now. When his Pokemon were in elemental rank, it didn't take so much effort to rank them to pseudo-king rank. Even though the system had helped Axel a lot, it would not be easy for any Pokemon to reach king rank.

###

Gyarados had leveled up 'Sky walk' and 'Hydro pump' to level 40. Before, 'sky walk' was just jumping very high and maintaining that position. However, after it reached level 40, during heavy rainfall, Gyarados could perpetually fly like a flying snake.

However, without heavy rainfall, 'Sky Walk' would just function as before but it would still be in the air for a long period of time.

The size of the 'Hydro pump' had decreased but its pressure had increased. With 'Water manipulation', the power of the attack was huge.

Gyarados had also been training in 'Water manipulation' and it was finally in level 30s. It was very hard to level up moves like 'Water manipulation' as the Pokemon had to improve the concept of the move itself to raise the attack.

Gyarados had also been able to learn a new move called 'Tail Blade'. Axel knew that the tail of Gyarados was very deadly and powerful. So, he wanted to capitalize on it.

During heavy rain fall and hail, 'Tail blade' would be the power of 'Water manipulation' and sends out blades made of water to the target. The concept of this attack was first to train its tail power even more and to send a devastating attack from the tail.

It turned out to be very powerful. If 'Water manipulation' could level up to 40, this move would be further enhanced.

Axel also allowed Gyarados to go into the sea and enjoy it life there. It was an aquatic Pokemon and it needed to be inside water. Axel had done this in the past too.

###

Mamoswine was able to level up 'Iron Defense' and 'Sand Armor' to level 40. After reaching level 40, one could see a layer of steel color on its body. The move had become more powerful and it could take more hits now.

'Sand armor' was a concept Axel had taken from Gaara of Naruto. The move was invisible cause it was of the same color as the skin but it was not very effective. It was just a thin layer of sand and it could not take powerful hits.

Axel didn't want the layer of sand to be big cause that would it would not be invisible. So, he told Mamoswine to learn 'Sand hardening' from Nidoking and Steelix.

It took some time for it to learn the move as it didn't have ground-type core mastery but it did and 'Sand hardening' made 'Sand armor' even sturdier.

When it learned 'Sand hardening', it must have gained some insights on ground type cause 'Sand armor' also leveled up to 40 making it even sturdier and stronger.

Red and Axel also teleported it to snowy regions with the help of Alakazam. It was a Pokemon that mostly lived in such an area and it needed to get familiar with it.

It already had good special attack moves and now it had good defense too. 'Sand armor' worked for both special defense and defense. It now needed to level up its existing moves.
