S5E10: Road Block - Part One

For most of the journey towards Juniper City nothing really happened other than maybe one or two trainers challenging Foxx to a battle of which he'd then offer to heal their pokemon after he'd beaten them. Yet as the grew closer towards the city Foxx realized things weren't going to be as smooth of a ride as they'd originally hoped for it hay that's life and sometimes you gotta just roll with the punches you get.

What unwanted and unneeded obstacle was in their path this time? Sadly it wasn't going to just be as simple as chasing off or catching some large or bothersome pokemon that's decided to make the pathway their napping or playing area. Nor was it even Team Galactic Grunts stirring up trouble or collecting tolls. Nope this time it was something completely unexpected. This time it was a group of disgruntle trainers protesting the mistreatment of pokemon.

Or at least that's what it appeared to be at first, for as they drew near to the group Foxx caught the ever familiar shine of grey knee high boots and elbow long gloves. These alone would be nothing had it not been for all of the black pants and skirts that all of the trainers were wearing. In fact if it hadn't been for one foolish grunt who failed to properly cover up the large red R on his chest it might have taken Foxx a bit longer to realize that this was indeed a trap to catch them off guard.

"Prepare for trouble." started Foxx as he and Dawn casually approached the group with Joy walking a step in front of them right between the two of them.

"Make it double." added Dawn from his side.

"To protect the world from devastation." continued Foxx as he slowly looked up from the pathway with a grin as they grew ever closer.

"To unite the people within our nation." added Dawn once more.

"To announce the wonders of truth and love." continued Foxx now only a short distance away from them.

"To extend our reach to the stars above!" added Dawn as her and Foxx now stood right in front of the crowd of secretly hidden grunts.

"Foxx!" called our Foxx as he struck a pose similar to James' iconic pose.

"Dawn!" added Dawn as she posed leaning back to back with Foxx mimicking one of Jesse's conic poses.

"Team Purity blasts off at the speed of light, surrender now or prepare to fight!" called Foxx and Dawn in unison just as Joy leaped over them.

"Vul, vul, vulpix!" called vulpix as came to a graceful landing just at their feet.

"What brings you here twerp?" asked the Rocket Admin who Foxx instantly recognized as Butch one half of the Team Rocket duo Butch and Cassidy.

"Oh a little of this and a little of that Buch so tell me where is your partner in crime at these days?" asked Foxx with a grin as he and Dawn straighten up just a bit. "I see only you got the promotion."

"I am here as well twerp! The master knows we're a set thus we both got the promotion to Admin!" chuckled Cassidy as she joined Butch she too in the more fancy uniform of an Admin.

"So you left your homes to come here?" asked a confused Dawn having heard about these too from both Ash and Foxx and how they caused trouble for the Kanto region.

"Especially since I had a part in making an opening in the Administration of the Kanto region of your broken and lame group." added Foxx with a large hint of mockery.

"Well for starters the current Admin from this region was transferred to fill in there in hopes of strengthening the Kanto Branch thus we were given the opportunity to rule here." snapped Butch as he struck up his battle pose.

"And second we're a elite criminal organization and you and the rest of the world will do well to treat us that way!" snapped Cassidy as she too struck a battle pose slowly followed by the rest of Team Rocket which was about eighteen grunts.

"And that's exactly what we plan on doing." called yet another familiar voice as Officer Jill arrived with five other Jr. Officers thus cutting off their escape into the city.

"We still out number you though not to mention…" started Butch only to be cut off by a large puff of smoke.

"Prepare for trouble." called a familiar female voice from within the smoke.

"Make it double." softly added a male voice that also seem known to Foxx.

"To protect the world from your hatred." continued the female.

"To come together within one bed." Continued the male as they both slowly made themselves known with every second.

"To announce the wonders of truth and love." called the female once more as the smoke began to clear.

"To strike like a serpent and a dove." called the male as his outline could be seen striking a pose that seem oh too familiar to Foxx.

"Jesse!" declared the female as she revealed herself to be none other than Jesse, Foxx's mother and former member of Team Rocket. She was wearing a her black boots and gloves as normal but the rest of her get up consisted of a black knee long skirt with a orange blouse.

"James!" declared the male as he too revealed himself to be James just in a orange suite, vest and tie with a white dress shirt. He also wore his traditional black gloves and boots but the gloves actually ran under the suit coat this time.

"Back away from our son you blight!" called Jesse as she struck her battle pose.

"Surrender now or prepare to fight!" called James as he too struck his battle pose.

"Wow, it just not he same without Meowlth to do his part. I told you it wouldn't be the same." half sighed half moaned James as he turned to look at Jesse with a smile.

"So unless anyone else wishes to join in can we get to crushing you and taking all of your pokemon already?" questioned a very frustrated Butch as he glare at Foxx.
