S5E11: Road Block - Part Two

Foxx just draws out two pokeballs and lets them roll out of his hand to the ground thus allowing umbreon and eevee to pop out and join Joy. as for Dawn she sent out piplup and quilava. This left Jesse to throw out arbok and James to send out weezing. As for the officers well they all sent out growleth of course. Together they had far more then enough fire power to tackle the large group of Team Rocket grunts who now made themselves known. Yet in the end all that remained was Foxx and Dawn on the good side and Butch and Cassidy left on Team Rocket's side.

"We're not as easy to defeat as you thought twerp!" scoffed Butch with a grin as he prepared for his next attack.

"Nor are we." replied Foxx as he nodded at Joy, eevee and umbreon who then hit their foes with a combined psybeam causing a great explosion.

In response as the dust began to settle down everyone, except Foxx was amazed at how quickly every member of Team Rocket save a really young rookie, who was almost Foxx and Dawn's age, had managed to vanish into thin air. Now Officer Jenny was about to arrest him when Foxx stepped forward to stop her.

"Now, I have a job for you grunt." calmly offered Foxx as he knelt down in front of the grunt. "You're going to go back to your boss and tell him Foxx Oak says he is to clear out of this region or he will once more have to deal with me! Then if he refuses to do so you will come find an Officer Jenny and have them contact me before you show us your head quarters in this region."

"I'll never betray the boss." declared the grunt about to turn in attempt to leave only to find that the other's had surrounded them as a barrier.

"Your only other option is for Officer Jenny here to take you into jail for processing and then your name and trainer ID sent to every region banning you from ever owning a pokemon ever again." replied Foxx with no sign of emotion or backing down as he waited for a response only to finally ask, "So what will it be?"

"Fine you win I'll give the boss your message and help you just please give me some air already." sighed the grunt as he and Foxx stood to his feet.

"Good, now tell me what's your name?" asked Foxx as he recalled eevee and umbreon.

"Marcus but my friends just calls me grunt." sighed the grunt as he removed his hat to reveal his short spiky silver hair that matched his unique silver eyes.

"Well, Marcus I think you might want to consider finding some new friends." replied Foxx with a smile that hinted towards him willing to give this grunt a second chance as he did for his parents.

"You wouldn't understand." sighed Marcus as he looked down at his feet.

"We would." replied James as he motioned to himself and Jesse. "We used to be just like you until our son showed us that we had a choice and that maybe we'd be better off as heroes then villains."

"Your betrayal of Team Rocket is taught to all new recruits and we are warned of the consequences for betraying Team Rocket, so I'm sorry but all I can do is give the boss your message." sighed Marcus as he slowly began to walk away.

"Let him go Officer Jenny." ordered Foxx as Officer Jenny moved to arrest Marcus. Foxx then smiled as he watched Marcus go before adding, "Who knows he may just change his mind yet. Only time really can tell."

"You have a good heart Foxx Oak I just hope it doesn't get you into trouble." sighed Officer Jenny as she turned to lead her officers away.

"Speaking of trouble what are you two doing here?" asked Foxx turning to look at his parents.

"Well, when you told us your plans to come visit Dawn's family we figured you'd come through this town so we came here to meet you. Then we caught wind of Team Rocket's plan and knew that this is where we'd end up finding you and that you could use our help." explained Jesse with a smile.

"And we are grateful for the help. We couldn't have won without your help." replied Dawn.

"Oh you're just saying that to make us feel important when we know you and Foxx did all the work and would've still won without us." sighed James.

"How about we forget about this whole thing and just go get something to eat?" teasingly asked Foxx with a smile as he'd already started to walk towards the city with Joy at his side.

"As long as you're buying." called Jesse as the other three rushed to catch up to him and Joy.

"Yah we would offer but sadly we're broke." sighed James.

"Consider it your wedding gift from me." teased Foxx as he placed an arm around Dawn as they entered Jubilation City.

"Wait wasn't the wedding our wedding gift from you?" asked a now confused James as he and Jesse walked beside them holding hands.

"Oh you weren't supposed to remember that but yes, so this is then just me buying dinner for my parents." replied Foxx with a grin.

"But you seem to always be buying things for us." sighed Jesse.

"It's what family does and someday you will be able to buy stuff for me and possibly any grandkids." replied Foxx with a smile.

"Wait is there something you're trying to tell us." asked Jesse a bit taken back by the mention of grandkids.

"No, he's just saying that someday down the line he may have kids that you will be able to spoil." explained Dawn with a smile. "I couldn't even get him to sleep in the same tent with me let alone any of that stuff besides were only kids and have our whole lives still before us."
