Ch 7: Viridian Forest

Wes reached the famous Viridian Forest. Viridian Forest was full of big lush trees, full to the brim with Bug Type Pokemon. Because of the trees, the rays of the sun couldn't penetrate into the forest at all giving the filling, that danger can jump out off any corner at any moment.

"Finally i reached Viridian Forest. Ok let's see what can we catch here."

VIRIDIAN FOREST:

Caterpie: Very Common LV 1-6

Weedle: Very Common LV 1-6

Pidgey: Very Common LV 1-11

Metapod: Common LV 7-9

Kakuna: Common LV 7-9

Bellsprout: Rare LV 1-12

Pikachu: Rare LV 1-10

Butterfree: Very Rare LV 10-18

Beedrill: Very Rare LV 10-18

Bulbasaur: Ultra Rare LV 1-15

Ivysaur: Ultra Rare LV 16-18

"Ok that's nice. So i can get a Bulbasaur in the wild here, like the Pokemon Go games in Nintendo Switch. As for Pikachu he is a good pick but needs a Light Ball to be effective. As of it's evolution A Magneton or a Jolteon are a lot better pick's than a Raichu."

Then Wes began trading in the forest battling all the Caterpie's or Metapod's he found on his way. Of course he avoided all Weadle's and Kakuna's so that his pokemon won't get poisoned by them. After 3 hours of training and 2 wins against some random bug catchers Wes had only found 2 Bulbasaur's that weren't that much satisfactory with his tastes. Then Wes stomach started rumbling like a Snorlax.

WES: OK everyone come on out. It's time to eat.

Wes summoned all 3 of his Pokemon in order to eat. As they were eating Wes checked his Pokemon summary after training.

WES TEAM:

1: Eevee: female LV 13 Ability: Adaptability Item: no

Moves: Tackle, Growl, Tail Whip, Sand Attack, Detect (Baby), Stored Power (Baby), Hidden-Power-Fire (Baby), Quick Attack.

2: Eevee: male LV 11 Ability: Run Away Item: Everstone

Moves: Tackle, Growl, Helping Hand, Curse (Baby), Wish (Baby), Sand Attack.

3: Nindoran: male. LV 9 Ability: Poison Point Item: no

Moves: Lear, Peck, Sucker Punch (Baby), Head Smash (Baby), Focus Energy, Double Kick.

WES: Ok after we finish eating Nindoran you are in charge teaching both Eevee's the Double Kick Move. So until we challenge the first Gym, I'm gonna lessen the time spent fighting wild Pokemon, so that both Eevee's can learn the new Move. Is that alright everyone?

Then both Eevee's and the male Nindoran roared full of excitement. The Eevee's for being able to learn a new Move. while Nindoran which was the newest addition to the team was excited because it will be able to boss around the older members until they learn the Double Kick Move.

Then for the next 2 days Wes battled against Wild Pokemon, random Bug catchers and training both Eevee's to learn the Double Kick Move with the help of Nidoran♂. Also whenever one of his Pokemon where poisoned, he would heal it with a Peacha Berry.

WES: Ah that was tiring.

At night Wes stopped the training in order to set camp at prepare dinner. He first switched the Everstone from the male Eevee to the Female one.

He set up his sleeping space and he started making dinner. While eating Wes was totally hopeless watching the male Eevee stealing glances while eating in the females one direction.

"When they say, that women can play men on their finger's, that is the perfect example of that.

Then as the female Eevee was eating with a blissful face. It suddenly stopped and jumped in fright as she heard a roar and a sudden white light illuminated their surroundings.

WES: WHAT!!!!!!!!!? THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE.

Wes screamed in shock. The male Eevee fully covered in white light and illuminated by the moonlight of the full moon on top of it, started changing rapidly.

" How the heck is this possible. It's only been a single week. Even with the help of the Luxury Ball this evolution happened too early."

Then Wes checked what happened with the help of his system. The happiness chart had a huge upward rise, especially in certain intervals and when Wes looked the time of the last big upward change, he deducted that this change happened when this male Eevee was together with the female one.

WES: ??????????????????????????????????

"OK. At least even if this evolution came unexpectedly. I have a new ace in the hole for the fight with Brock."

Then after a few seconds the white light disappeared, revealing bathed in moonlight a pair of 2 Bloody Eyes full of evilness, Eight golden ringlike tattoos on its black, like the darkest of nights body and the evilest smile that only a mother could love, full of sharp teeth like those of a Tiberian Mastiff's (Pokemon Festival Of Champions CH 9, 10). Finally the male Eevee finished it's evolution reviling a majestic and dangerous Umbreon.

Wes immediately looked at it's status.

Umbreon: male LV 12 Ability: Synchronize Item: no

Moves: Tackle, Growl, Helping Hand, Curse (Baby), Wish (Baby), Sand Attack, Pursuit.

The female Eevee looked with an agast look, at the previous used to be smitten Eevee becoming a cool, majestic and full of mysteriousness Umbreon. Her tiny hart started pulsing even faster and below her brown fur a pink blush appeared like a cute girl meeting her Destined prince charming.

"Ok he also learned the Pursuit Move. That's good."

Then if someone looked at this moment at Wes face as he immediately bent over and hugged his new Umbreon. He would be able to see tears 😭 coming out of his eyes.

As wes was hugging his Umbreon his mind moved in some very distant memories of his past life. where at the age of 12 as he was playing the Pokemon Silver at the GBC the excitement he felt when his Eevee given by Bill evolved in a majestic Umbreon. It was love in the first sight. Then memories wining his 4th locals single 6VS6 tournament in Pokemon Diamond 💎 and Pearl 🦪 with the help of a Curse, Rest, Toxic, Pay Back, Chesto Berry Umbreon the nostalgia Wes felt, couldn't be contained.

Then after this sentimental moment Wes and all 3 of his Pokemon continued finishing their food. After that they fell asleep with the Moonlight illuminating them in this dark, murky and hostile forest.
