Pewter city- bulba info

The Forest had ended and the trees now were distanced, the path was also well-developed. It seems we are closing down to Pewter city.

Our five-day journey had come to an end with the sight of Pewter city gate, It seems strange to me why all the cities here are bordered white the towns and villages are not.

I mean I understand the whole security need which is fulfilled by the walls, Some big pokemon can randomly cause havoc but don't the small settlements require the same level of security?

Well, it's food for thought.

Yesterday my Bulbasaur had overexerted herself in training so I let her rest in Pokeball. I prefer carrying her but it makes a bad habit and would hurt her when she evolves into a larger version of herself.

After reaching that town, we contacted another trainer who was coming with her partner to Pwetwer city. I seriously did not want my Bulbasaur to fight anyone till she masters her moves, so I asked them to accompany us here.

It is not a compulsion though, it's a preference of mine to master moves before evolution.

Just like my prejudice against Pokemon who don't have three evolutionary stages.

It's a prejudice, you can't do anything about that. Ditto, kangaskhan. There are some exceptions, like the Aerodactly I am eyeing when I visit the area of Grampa Canyon.

Aerodactyl is a versatile pokemon, being a Rock-flying type and capable of learning fire-type and Dragon-type attacks without TMs makes a great pick for my team.

Another Pokemon without evolution I will welcome is Arceus, just let me find him once.

But catching Aerodactly is serious business.

Back to Pewter City's affairs, I had played a time-limited auction of my wartodle info and already bought the Totodileegg with cash on delivery payment method. Turns out you can't just transfer an egg like how you do with pokemon, for the eggs may be damaged and have effects like diminished growth, and downgraded potential while transporting with a teleportation device. I further found that the pokemon are not actually teleported, it's the pokeballs that are teleported, both being different processes.

I did not have the money, neither I currently possess the money, but the delivery of the egg will take a full week, of which three days have already passed. About the info auction, it's not an auction per se, it just has a time limit to buy the info. I had been contacted by the League and accepted that the payment can be done after they confirm the info which they already did. I broadcasted most of the confirmation and negotiation on the Poketube so that they can't cheat me out of anything later, just a failsafe.

There were a lot of questions about the origin of this information, which I just answered that I refuse to answer.

The League has made a promise to confirm the payment by tomorrow, which erases my worry to pay the Totodile dealer when he comes over.

As for my Bulbasaur.

Due to not battling adjust practicing moves, it had not reached level 16, but the moves mastery was improving. Vine whip, Tackle, and Razor leaf were stinted, unable to improve before the next evolution while Poison powder and Sleep powder were moves that needed an opponent to improve mastery upon, so I now had no choice but to evolve her.

She could learn the move bullet seed, but it's one of the moves that an Ivysaur forgets after evolving to Venusaur, and it is not all that power too.

So we are going today to the Rookies league preliminaries which only needs one pokemon and this would help train her and at the same time, hopefully, evolve my Bulbasaur to an Ivysaur.

I cannot go challenge Brock without a second Pokemon. According to my estimates, he should be the gym leader for another eleven days here after which his father takes over the gym in the canon.

It doesn't matters which one I fight, I won't go blind without training my Totodile though.

After Totodile, a chance also caught my attention on the trading page. She was an experienced nurse under one of the Joys and despite the Monopoly, the Joy family has this one Pokemon of an old nurse Joy of the previous generation who just applied for retirement.

I hurriedly applied for the trade, which is of course again with the money I don't have. This is concerning if by chance the Wartodle group had not been there before the episode, I am in big trouble.

"Yes, Ethan we talked before about the Wartodle location remember?"

"Yes ma'am, I remember."

"There has been some complication in the information, Mr. Hunt." She spoke in a polite tone. And the complications are troublesome, what seems to be the problem.

"What seems to be the problem ma'am?"

"Yes, we want to revise our previous dealings with you, Mr. Hunt. With the already promised 200 million, we will be paying you another 200 million on the note that the location remains undisclosed from your side." This was suspicious, even if they had found squirtles instead of wartodles the deal payment should not have been outrightly doubled. Did I miss something in that episode?

"May I inquire what is there so important for the payment to be doubled?" I asked

"No, also this is one-sided negotiations, Mr. Hunt. Your cooperation is absolutely required for the dealings otherwise the relationship between you and the league is bound to be strained, this is a matter of pokemon security, I hope you understand."

Damn, there must be there some gold mine or something there for them to just force me to get 400 million poke dollars. I am feeling I just handed a treasure to them for pocket money.

"Of course accept, thank you miss?" Oh, I didn't ask her name the first time she called me days ago.

"Miss Valentina, no worries Mr. Hunt your payment has just been made, please confirm it via your Pokedex, hope you have a great day." Saying so she cut the phone call.

I got double my payment and I know I should not be greedy but the way she outrightly threatened me to take her money was sexy- I mean suspicious, and raising this big of suspicion before a 10-year-old is foolish as now I am very curious what is there so important.

Well, the upside now I have, let me check- 400,089,468 poke dollars in my Poke account.

Totodile will be here in three days, first I go to the Pokemon center to have a check-up of my Bulbasaur, regular check-ups are good when you are rich.

The promised Chancey is 18 million Pokedollars, being a second evolution silver potential, and that too a trained nurse made her very expensive. She would be transferred to my nearest pokemon center, the moment I pay the price to her trainer.

My perspective had become strange watching these big numbers but I realise that how much money is too much. The Totodile price is justified as its potential is worth it.
