The Scoop of a Life Time

Blood splattered on the Akira, Saku and officer Mochi, causing their eyes to flinch, such is the jaw strength of that man.

"AGHHH! Get him off me! Get him off mee!"

Officer Mochi went behind and grabbed the man while Akira held officer Yasu and pulled. However, he just wouldn't let go. Despite his thin and ill physique, he was incredibly strong.

Saku noticed that there was blood in on his camera lenses, so he cleaned it before using the camera again.

The raggedy man seemed to let off, but that was because he was tearing a piece of Yasu's neck.

Blood spurted everywhere as his flesh was being stringed along like feta cheese from pizza.

Yasu screamed in agony, holding his hand over his neck. The man chewed and sucked the flesh into his mouth while shaking as officer Mochi pulled him away.

Akira helped put pressure on Yasu's neck with his hands while Saku was busy wiping the blood off the camera lenses again.

It was an emergency, and someone was critically injured, but that was exactly why he had to fulfill his duty and record the incident. If anyone died in the aftermath, it would be a waste of a sacrifice not to have video footage.

Officer Mochi tried to handcuff the madman, but he was too strong that he couldn't even do it when the man's front was pressed against the wall and his arms were already behind his back.

The light in the room was under maintenance and the electrician hadn't finished his work, so he taped the light switch so that no one would accidentally press it.

Akira didn't know this and had pressed it earlier.

The light bulb in the room suddenly flared up and then popped, bringing the darkness back to the room. Since their eyes had adjusted to the light before, it was now hard to see.

"Oi! I need light!" officer Mochi exclaimed.

The man seemed to have moved from the wall and was trying to break free from Mochi's hold.

Saku shined the camera light on Mochi and the man.

"Roarrrr!!!"

The crazy man threw his arms out, breaking free from Mochi's lock. Mochi recoiled from the explosive force. The man grabbed him by the shoulders and they both lunged onto the ground.

He threw his head back and then bit into his neck.

Officer Mochi screamed in agony as the crazed man pulled out a chunk of his neck.

Saku recorded the whole thing. A dark patch radially grew on the crotch of his pants.

He had pissed himself.

The man stared at Saku with the eyes of a hungry predator as he stood up. Saku was frozen in fear.

He stumbled toward Saku and then lunged at him. That was when Saku snapped out of it and swung at the man's head with his bulky camera.

The man fell to the side.

Akira was dragging officer Akira to the corridor where there was light, painting a streak of blood across the floor.

Saku breathed heavily. Slowly calming down until what he saw made his breath get stuck in his chest.

The man slowly stood up as if it did not hurt at all, but surely there was some blood coming down his forehead and his neck was unnaturally bent almost 90 degrees to the side.

"a… ahhh- Ahhhhhh!!!"

Saku let out a shrill scream and fled. He ran past Akira and officer Yasu in the corridor.

"Hey! Oi!" Akira called out to Saku's back.

Just as Akira got out through the backdoor, Yasu's legs got caught. Akira looked up to see the man with a bent neck pulling on Yasu.

It became a tug of war. Akira pulled while leaning back with all his weight which made him almost touch the ground.

Saku stood in the night staring into the outback darkness with hopelessness.

They parked their car at the police station and didn't have the keys to the police car. Saku wasn't sure if he could outrun the crazed man who seemed to possess hysterical strength.

"Oi Saku! Get your ass over here! I need your help!"

Saku was about to make a run when he heard Akira's call for help. He turned around and saw that they were struggling. He started running back.

With a roar, the man yanked, making Akira lose his hold and fall to the ground. Luckily, officer Yasu grabbed onto the door frame. Akira looked at the scene from the dirt in shock.

It lifted officer Yasu one meter in the air against the corridor wall and was holding on with all his strength.

Saku came rushing to Yasu which filled his eyes with hope but instead of rescuing him, Saku began pulling a key from his belt.

Yasu's tear flooded eyes widened in despair.

"No, no, no, no, NO! Please don't go! Please help me!"

Saku was frantically yanking the key from the belt, but it was stuck.

When Yasu lost his grip on the door frame and screamed, the key was finally free.

Saku ran out of there.

"Sakuuu! You bastard!" Akira yelled.

When Yasu went quiet, Akira looked back in fear and quickly got up from the ground. As he ran out to the front yard, he saw Saku panicking and mashing the car key buttons.

"What are you doing!"

"It's not working! It's not working!"

He turned the car key to its back and pressed the button he found. The car boot unlocked.

Saku ditched the car keys, opened the boot and threw himself into it, closing it from the inside.

Akira picked up the keys and pressed the buttons, but they didn't work.

Officer Yasu has been meaning to return the car keys to the station for repairs when he didn't need it but didn't get around to it for a week now.

"Damn it!"

Akira ran to the driver's seat and opened it manually with the key. He slid it into the ignition and turned the car on.

When the car lights went on, he slapped the steering wheel in delight.

"Yes!"

When the car lights turned on, so did a face appear through the driver's window.
