Love Doobae

Ethan went and hugged his mom right after seeing her, he hugged her tight till he feel her muscles relax before letting go.

"Mom I'm sorry for making you worry" he said as he knelt in front of his mother while putting her hand on his head. His mother was sitting in the living room when he arrived with so much worry on her face. What he hate the most is making his sick mom worry about him; he knows that he can't stop her from worrying about him but him making her worry more is what he don't like.

Lestina looked at her son who was kneeling in front of her, she smiled sadly and give his hair some few strokes before speaking, "you know I'll be worried then why did you do that? You could have left me a letter at least."

"Sorry My Love Doobae" Ethan said winking at his mom, "I'm in one piece, see?"

Lestina laugh at the "Love Doobae". Ethan sure has many ways of stopping her from nagging about her worries.

"Please stop worrying so much about me, I can take care of myself. Just saying you can worry but not too much. Momma I don't want anything to happen to you because of worry so please take care of your health and stop worrying too much about us. Love you, I'll be taking a nap inside just incase you choose to worry again when you are not seeing me" Ethan said quickly kissing his mom on the cheek and running inside before she start with her long explanations of being a mom.

Ethan take a long bath to relax his nerves, it was actually a miracle, if he didn't dodge the car at the last minute he would have been dead right now.

FLASHBACK

Ethan was lost in thought as he drove home, he don't like making his sick mother worried. He was so lost in thought that he didn't see the car that crossed to their lane coming fast at him in the opposite direction. From a distance he heard a loud deafening sound, it was the that he come to his sense to see the approaching car. Quickly swaying to the left the car missed him at hairs breath running straight into the man sitting on his bike at the right side of the road. He was having headphone on which lead to him not hearing the honing of the car.

Ethan was sure he would not survive if it were to happen, because the car would totally crush him to the ground. It was the speed bump that saved the other party though, if not he too would have died.

NB:

That why having headphone on while near a road is not good, at least leave some space to hear things happening around you. Don't totally cover your ear with it.
