Impel Down trash

As Galan was walking away, Olvia ran over and hugged him from behind, having watched everything. She didn't say anything, but her message was clear.

How tired are you?

Is it heavy?

Don't worry, I'll be here.

By your side.

Forever.

Everyone watching was silent as these words popped up on the screen.

Olvia was embarrassed slightly and Galan sighed to himself. She was annoying but… she never gave up on him. He couldn't say he wasn't moved.

But the video revealed all his true feelings and it annoyed him tremendously!

The scene changed.

They returned to Marineford after cleaning up the 16th Base and taking care of Monka.

Galan went straight to the room and got in bed staring at the wall, Olvia told Sugar to sleep on the couch before undressing and getting in bed, holding him. He froze up and she pleaded for him to stay, telling him that it wasn't his fault that these things happened.

She asked him to turn to her and after a while, he finally did. She looked into his eyes and stroked his cheek, telling him that it was okay to cry, nobody would know. She slid into his arms and pressed herself against his chest.

She told him 'I'll be here for you no matter what. No matter how heavy the weight, I'll share it with you. No matter how painful it is, I'll suffer with you. No matter how tough it gets, I'll never abandon you. You silently carry all these burdens, never showing weakness to anyone, crying in silence alone… Even if you don't want me to be there, I will be.'

She looked up and stroked his cheek, smiling gently, saying that it really hurt to see him so sad before kissing him deeply. He broke off their lips and she teared up but he hugged her tight, bringing her into his embrace and she smiled lovingly, enjoying the warmth of his strong arms around her.

There was no sound, no reply, nothing.

Only soft breathing and a wetness on her head.

She didn't know if this was a permanent or flash of vulnerability, but she hoped it could last forever. Her hero, the strongest man in the world, was so fragile at this moment.

Nobody said anything this time.

Saying anything would ruin it.

But many people cried.

How much was this one man dealing with?

Everyday making sacrifices and choices that he would never make otherwise, only to protect everyone in the world from evil… To see all your efforts barely change anything… How painful was such a thing?

The next day

Galan and Olvia were talking about a new plan to clean up the Blues and make the Marines' reputation better. He published what Nezumi did in the papers under an 'anonymous' person masking his actions as protecting the whistleblower from Pirates.

He denounced pirates and manipulated the people into believing that Nezumi was just a scum corrupted by pirates…

There was a lot of blah blah blah, but Galan made sure to mention that evil would be cleansed!

Only a few people realized what this even meant.

Not even the 5 Elders noticed.

Even a Person in a garden, covered in shadows, only frowned before forgetting about it.

The Good Marines were separated from the Dirty Marines and sent out to all the Blues in a plan to clean them all up. He made the area of influence for each marine base smaller and sprinkled more bases all over the place, leaving only good marines under one of his special unit leaders.

The plan was to not only clean them all out, but to corner the Germa kingdom and force them into the Grandline, out of the Blues.

As such he basically sent out all his force. All his special Units were on this mission, it was important to establish a Blue-wide law and order. As for the Grand Line, it was next after the Blues were finished.

However, Galan made himself very clear to his special Units. The recruits and recruited Marines were to be trained with good and evil in mind. Not Marines and Pirates.

Not all Pirates were evil and not all Marines were good!

Galan had drilled this into all the people he trained. It was ridiculous to lump all pirates together! Otherwise they would end up like Sakazuki and be worse than the evil pirates in question!

As for the Dirty Marines, he kept them in Marineford. For the time being, until he found a way to deal with them, they were paid and kept under his supervision. It was basically a vacation for all of them.

He kept the logistics division, so not all of them were dirty but when he had a plan, they would be moved as well. He set up a fund for all the widows that would arise from the mass cleansing, Olvia did all the calculations so that they would never have to worry for money when the breadwinner was gone.

Galan didn't want to mess up an innocent's life because their significant other was evil. It wasn't right to do so.

Time passed

Galan found out some surprising news, turns out Luffy beat Crocodile and Smoker took him in. However, this would be covered up for sure, because the World Government couldn't have a pirate saving a Nation.

Galan was a bit upset with Luffy because this meant that Crocodile would get to live in Impel Down instead of being killed directly. It was a damn shame.

In Galan's view, everyone in Impel Down was effectively retarded.

Shiki went in and escaped.

What was the point of a prison if criminals came and went as they pleased?!

Was it a vacation spot or a prison!

Galan had his eye on Shiryu, a jailer, thinking about recruiting him.

[Shiryu: !!!]

But Galan ultimately decided against it. Mainly because Shiryu was a crazed psychopath. Yes, he didn't kill any innocent people, only evil prisoners, but this guy didn't kill them because they were evil.

He killed them simply because he liked killing!

Galan enjoyed killing evil people because he felt that the world would be safer, but Shiryu was different. Galan was sure that if Shiryu was given the chance, he would slaughter a village of innocents for no reason other than murder.

So Galan stuck him off the list and left him in Impel Down. Taking him out wouldn't do anyone any good and he could manipulate him to kill whoever he wanted inside.

[Shiryu: You fucking bastard! You think I'm your little puppy!?]

[Magellan: Settle down prisoner!]

[Shiryu: Heh.]
