So that's the trick.

Alex hadn't even fully turned around before he tilted his head to the side to dodge a bullet that came from a gun Lucky had picked up. Two vials popped into the air from Lugh's mouth and Alex caught them in his left hand, chugging them as he continued to sway his body around the flurry of bullets being shot at him, without even looking.

Alex finished the drinks and grabbed them in each hand before throwing them with full force at Lucky. One of the bottles was hit by a bullet and shattered in mid air. The shards flying in Lucky's direction. Lucky raised his arms to shield his eyes and Alex kicked off the ground with soru before using geppo to take his next step before he was even able to land on the ground after his first step.

Lucky moved his arms back down after he felt it was safe only to see a large shadow looming over him. He looked up and his eyes spotted a clenched fist that grew in size as it moved towards his face.

Alex's punch landed and sent Lucky flying backwards before he tumbled into a wall, bringing the wall down. Lucky and the wall both smashed into the casino room and the loud noises and flashing lights shone through the hole in the wall that had just been created. A bloody Alex stepped through the hole, stepping over the pile of stone at the bottom and into the casino room. He spit out some blood that had accumulated in his mouth onto the expensive carpet that lined the floors.

Panic ensued in the casino as the civilians ran around screaming like headless chickens. Alex's face was stone cold as lightning danced around his body again. His eyes began to glow and an intense pressure filled the casino, instantly calming the commotion as everyone panicking fell to the ground unconscious.

"W-What? What kind of a monster are you?" Lucky asked as he crawled backwards on the floor.

Alex's face remained stone cold as his wounds finally fully closed and cut off the supply of blood that was seeping onto the floor this whole time. The lightning around him grew in intensity as his fists and forearms turned black. He disappeared from Lucky's vision for a split second before reappearing a few inches away from him.

Alex's punch landed and Lucky's chest caved in on itself along with the armour protecting it. The floor beneath him couldn't bare the force of the blow as Lucky's body flew through it, creating a circular hole. Alex looked down the hole, seeing three more as Lucky had fallen down three stories of the building and into a different casino room.

Alex looked down at his hands that were still covered in haki and started to laugh like a maniac.

"So, that's the trick." He mused to himself as he hopped down the hole he had created in the floor with Lucky's body.

Alex landed on the floor and dust kicked up around him, hiding him from the view of everyone in the room. Alex's eyes tracked directly to Lucky who was trying to run away while constantly coughing up blood. He was throwing people behind him as if they would, or could, hold off Alex.

Alex shot after him as he dashed around the slot machines and roulette tables. He dodged the people around him and caught up to Lucky before grabbing him by the collar and smashing him face first into a wall, once again smashing the wall with his armour. Alex smiled as he jumped out the hole he made and inhaled a breath of fresh air. He looked around at the night sky, only illuminated by the moon and the bright lights of the casino.

Alex looked below him as the duo plummeted towards the ground. The wind blew his hair out of his face and he gave a toothy grin, revealing his fang-like teeth. "What was is you said earlier? Some warning about being the godfather?" Alex asked the tattered man he was holding.

Lucky began to shake as death approached him. The closer the ground grew the worse he started shaking.

Alex's laughter resounded around the island, so loud that even the wind couldn't drown it out.

The ground approached quickly, 50 feet, 40 feet, 30 feet, 25, 20, 15.

When the duo was only 10 feet from hitting the ground, Lucky clenched his eyes tightly, fearing the inevitable death that was coming from this murder-suicide.

However, at that exact moment, Alex kicked off the air with geppo and the duo's momentum began to slow down as Alex's feet ran along the air, each step shifting their vertical fall to horizontal momentum. Eventually the two landed on the dirt road before skidding to a stop.

Lucky unclenched his eyes and took in the world around him with a breath of disbelief and relief. "Wh-what?"

Alex smiled and dropped him to the ground. "I'm in a pretty good mood right now. So, I might just let you live."

Lucky gulp and nodded. "Th-thank you! Thank you!"

Alex took a deep breath before exhaling with a smile on his face. "That felt good." He looked down at his hand and coated it with haki again. "I finally figured it out. Ahahaha! Whoo! Fuck yeah!"

Lucky trembled in fear, not even daring to respond.

A crowd started to form around the duo as people started flooding out of their houses due to the commotion. Alex looked up and saw people looking at them from the holes he made in the building. Two people even started floating in the air, slowly descending towards him.
