Dealing with Caribou

AN: I thought that I should inform the readers earlier. This is a Nico Robin fanfiction. So I will be focusing primarily on her. That's why I won't right about the adventures of other straw hats. But when Robin is with them, I will right those scenes. And one more thing, You might not see deviation in canon for a long time. I want to take this story as slow as possible. That's all.

Dealing with Caribou

Without air inside the the bubble, it burst. I knew it happened in the canon. But I never thought that it would also happen here. Especially those fishmen. I have to agree that the pose serious threat deep inside the sea. Luffy could have used conqueror's haki. But that was risky.

I had trained to hold my breath for a long time. But still without taking air earlier, it was impossible for me to stay without air. Thankfully before I lost consciousness, I was able to breath again. But I have already taken a lot of water inside me. So ultimately I not my consciousness anyway.

"Robin ! Robin ! Are you awake ?" I woke up after hearing Nami.

*Cough*cough*

"I guess, we got separated ?" I asked after waking up.

Surprisingly my top jacket was missing. Instead I was covered by a bathing towel. But my sarong was there.

"Yeah, Luffy, Sanji, Chopper and Ussop got separated from us." Franky said drinking a bottle of cola.

"Yohohohoho ! Robin chan !.... I can see your panties !"

*Bonk*

"This is not the time you idiot !"

Nami bonked Brook.

"Even if you can see them, I doubt you can feel anything Brook, since you don't even have balls. Skull joke, right ?" I enjoyed the devastated looks on his face. It was hilarious. And I think it was the best way to counter his harassments.

"Robin...you are so cruel !" Brook was on his knees while dark clouds hovered over his head.

"So what should we do now ?" Zoro asked.

"I think I want to see Tom's relative here in the fishman island. I will also take Sunny with me in case he could cote him." Franky replied as if finished his cola bottle.

"I also want to visit the sea forest. There is something that I want to see there." I said looking at Zoro. He nodded.

"Oh ! By the way I forgot to thank you for the sake earlier. It was good." Zoro said to me.

"It's fine. But what are you going to do ?" I asked.

"Maybe we can go for shopping. I heard that Pappag, has a shop somewhere in the fishman island. Why don't you come with me, Zoro ? By the time we do some shopping, we can also search for Luffy."

"Yes but before we leave, I think we should deal with him first." I said looking towards a shit looking Caribou who was trying to escape. He had still his sea stone handcuffs on. So he couldn't use his devil fruit powers.

"Oh, yeah ! I forgot about you !" Nami said with shining berries sign on her eyes.

"And don't even try to escape..." I got up holding the towel over my breasts.

Nami saw this and gave me my jacket back which one surprisingly dry.

"Thank you." I thanked her and wore it. By that time, Franky was already going for Caribou. He gulped. But with Zoro infront of him, he didn't try anything.

As soon as Franky released him, Nami went forward to demand the rest of the gold and money.

But it was mistake. Caribou as soon as regained his devil fruit powers, jumped towards Nami to capture her.

Zoro was quick to move. But it was already too late. Caribou took nami as hostage.

"Gyegyegegegee ! Now, it is time for my revenge. If you dare, come any closer, I will shoot her head off. Caribou pulled out a gun of his body, and pointed it towards Nami's head.

Zoro stopped in his tracks. Franky took out all of his weapons but he didn't fire as he knew that, it would be use less against a logia.

Brook also went on guard.

Caribou took this chance to slowly swallow Nami into his swamp-body.

But he wasn't able to achieve his goal.

*Crack*Squelch*

Caribou slumped forward, his power disappearing.

"It only takes one finger...to kill someone. You are a logia devil fruit user that doesn't mean you are invincible." I spoke coldly to the dead body of Caribou.

Zoro relaxed his stance as Nami ran away from his body.

It was an assassination technique that I have created during this last two years.

As I removed a bloodied finger from the skull of Caribou, the arm dissolved into hundreds of petals.

"That was quick." Zoro smirked.

"He has Nami as hostage. So I didn't think that negotiation would be possible." I replied back.

I had no intention of killing Caribou, considering I didn't know which important role he will play in the future. But, it didn't matter when he took Nami as hostage.

It didn't matter if he would have been the one to give food to Luffy in onigashima fight. He was just a temporary prisioner. Not to mention the problem he would have created if left alone was not worth it.

"*sigh* At least we could have taken his treasure...." Nami was disheartened.

"Don't worry. We have different fruits in our fridge. Devil fruits tends to reincarnate in the nearest compatible fruit after the user dies.

So I think you should check our storage. You might find his devil fruit. We can always sell that for quite some money. Not to mention it is a logia. It is bound to give us a fortune." I said to Nami.

As soon as I finished my sentence, Nami's eyes turned into berries and she went inside the ship.

"Eaaaah ! Now Sunny is all bloody ! I have to clean it up." Franky complained and went to clean up.

"I am sorry. I didn't have much time." I apologized.

"No, it is fine ! I should have been the one to be careful.

By the time Franky was done cleaning up Nami towards us with a dark brown tangerine in her hands with square shaped patterns.

"I love you big sis Robin !" Nami hugged me tightly. Her beasts rubbing with mine.

"So that's the devil fruit ?" Zoro asked.

"Yohohohoho ! It seems so. I can't believe we got I devil, just like that." Brook said laughing.

"But we have to keep it away from captain. Who knows, he will eat it up thinking that it is just a snack." I said laughing.

Nami retreated.

"Robin, can you keep it for me ? I don't want to entrust our treasure to anyone else. I want to keep it with me. But, I am not strong enough." Nami asked pleadingly.

"You are not weak Nami. You have your own strength. But anyway, If you insist." I took the devil fruit and shoved it into my clevage. It will be safe there. At least from Luffy.

"Alright ! We should head out now ." Zoro said and started to walk on his own.

"Hey where are you going !" Nami and Brook ran behind him to catch up.

I laughed a bit. "Alright, I will be off then."
