It was the second day I woke up in one piece world. One thing the fanfics and animes left out was the toilet details. Like I can't begin to tell you how hard it was to do it without the usual tools AND in a completely strange environment. Also no toilet paper but that's enough toilet talk. The time felt like my second gift should be arriving. I hope it was something good which will help me craft items so that I can make tools needed for survival. I also hoped I had better luck finding food if I were to survive.
I was waiting when I heard it

Then I suddenly fell asleep again.

I woke up again in what felt like minutes. I remembered reading the system notification. I went into the system status screen and there it was the 2nd gift named-''above average luck''. I wondered how I could use this. It felt like a passive ability.
Seeing it I decided to forget about it for now and start my search for Something. Anything which would help me. I entered the forest and was walking randomly until suddenly I tripped and fell. And I hear something hit the tree beside me. Immediately getting up I saw a snake clamping on the tree right where my head would have been if I didn't trip and fall. Suddenly grateful for my second gift I ran away.

-------
It was afternoon now. I could already feel the effects of my second gift.
Small things like making me miss a thornish vine and making me stop right before a coconut could fall on my head etc. I kept walking around the forest, exploring my surroundings and keeping an eye out for potential dangers. Despite the lack of tools and resources, my luck seemed to be favoring me, as I managed to avoid any life-threatening situations. I found some edible berries and fruits along the way, which provided me with much-needed sustenance.
Encouraged by my lucky streak so far, I decided to try my hand at crafting some basic tools. With my above-average luck, I somehow managed to find a sharp rock and a sturdy stick that could serve as a makeshift knife. Using these e tools, I started to fashion a simple spear for hunting and a makeshift shelter for the night. Having learnt my lesson the last night itself to not sleep in the open. After completing the budget shelter i decided to go find some food.
As I continued my search for more food, I stumbled upon a rabbit. The rabbit looked unaware of my presence. it also looked to be too busy eating some leaves, so I took a cautious step towards it redyeing my makeshift weapon. suddenly before it could move I threw my spear at it with full force. Having never done something like this I didn't think I would succeed and was also not in the mood to kill such a cute thing I aimed half-heartedly. but somehow even with my non-experience and half-hearted aim the rabbit's head was speared and it came to a swift end. I stood there looking at it for some time still coming to terms that I had killed it. afterwards, I took my spear and its body back to my makeshift layout. I couldn't help but wonder if my above average luck had something to do with the result.
As the sun set, I roasted the rabbit over my fire. as I was sitting there looking at the fire going over today's event I couldn't help but feel accomplished with my progress. My second gift of above-average luck had been instrumental in helping me avoid danger and find essential resources for survival. I felt a sense of gratitude for this unexpected advantage in this unfamiliar world. But it had also helped me kill the rabbit. I felt a little conflicted. Even though I felt a little bad for the rabbit I got over it. Cause this was a brutal world and hesitating over small things could lead to my death. AGAIN.
My luck had been on my side in other aspects of survival. I made a mental note to continue utilizing my above-average luck and the healing factor to my advantage and be cautious as I navigated this new world.
then I settled down in my shelter With renewed determination and a sense of optimism, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep, ready to face whatever challenges the next day might bring. Or that's what I thought as nothing could prepare me for the roller coaster life changer that would be tomorrow.
