Chapter 3 - All With One

『 Omniscient POV 』

On one of the small islands of the East Blue, a duo of a young man and a boy can be seen relaxing in front of a hand-made camping fire.

The boy, named Coby, is currently frying the dozen and half of the fish that he catched earlier, when he got bored of waiting at the boat.

Although he asked for his savior's help earlier, he quickly learned that it is a bad idea as instead of normal fish, his savior, Luffy – the one and only –, was aiming to catch a Sea King for dinner.

When the ex-cabin boy, who is now a boy of wonder, asked why, he learned that in exchange for Luffy's rubbery body, his ability to swim was taken away.

And if the teen tried to, he explained that he would drown as Sea Water – or any kind of water that is above the knee level – would weaken him quite a lot.

After hearing his explanation, Coby quickly pushed Luffy back onto the island and just decided to catch the fishes on his own.

And that's why, even though it took him quite the while, with some effort in the mix, Coby still managed to catch more than a dozen fishes for the three of them.

"When do you think he'll wake up, Luffy-san?"

After some moments of silence, Coby suddenly asked a question while flipping some of the fishes that he is currently cooking to fry their other side.

It has been a couple of hours since Luffy knocked out Midoriya, and so far, he still has not shown any sign of waking up.

"Shishishishi~, don't worry too much about him. He'll wake up when he's ready!"

Luffy, who heard the question of his newly made friend, couldn't help but laugh before he answered him with his remarkable smile.

"I hope you're right."

Coby replied before going silence once again and turned his focus on frying their dinner.

"Hey Coby, I'm sleepy. Wake me up once dinner is ready, okay?"

Coby could only release a deep breath at those words before he nodded his head and said.

"All right, Luffy-san."

And with that, silence once again surrounded the whole island.

With the fire and the fish being the only ones that would occasionally make some noises.

And of course, the noise of the sea water that would hit the shore, from time to time.

『 Midoriya's POV 』

Darkness.

'I failed...'

That's all I can see as I thought about my failure...

"Mi-"

'Mom, Sensei... everyone...'

... about the people that sacrificed their lives for me...

"Mido-"

'I'm sorry...'

... and about how I would not even be able to achieve the goal that we all wanted to make.

"Midoriya!!"

Though, as I enter the darkest abyss of my mind, a loud shout suddenly erupted in my ears.

After hearing that, I quickly noticed that, the darkness that was surrounding me previously, suddenly vanished like they never existed from the beginning.

"Midoriya, are you okay now?"

"Boy, wake up! The war still hasn't ended!"

"He's right, Midoriya-kun, I'm sure you'll find some way to go back home."

"That's right, so never give Young Midoriya."

And now, instead of darkness, several phantom people are now surrounding me.

With just a single glance, I quickly realized who they were.

Two of these people are malnourished, with one of those two being a blonde haired while the other is white-haired.

Then there is a bald large man and a woman that has a ponytailed black colored hair, the only woman in the group, to be exact.

As for the last few people in the group, although they all have a unique appearance on their face and body, one thing can be seen in their eyes.

The strong sense of will to stop the monstrosity which took the appearance of a human, All for One.

All of those people are currently sitting on what appeared to be a chair that has an appearance of a throne.

Seeing them being around me, I couldn't help but feel the guilt of being unable to fulfill the promise that I made to them.

"All might-sensie, everyone... I... I'm-"

And so, I tried to apologize, but then, a large muscular man of a wide build released [ Blackwhip ] from his back and controlled it to pull me towards him.

"Shut it, boy!!"

This large man is Daigoro Banjo, and he was one of the eight previous users of [ One for All ].

Meaning, he is one of my predecessors.

"Go out back there and look for a way to return to your home if you have the time to cry in despair!"

After suddenly pulling me to be right in front of him, by using one of my Quirks on me, he yelled out those words onto my face.

Finding myself quite close to his face, I couldn't help but analyze his appearance to take away the pressure that is being put on me right now.

Banjo-Sensei has a square jaw, that has a very short beard on it, a small dull blue eyes, that screams unbreakable determination and a strong willpower, and lastly, a lacked eyebrows.

'His eyes are still the same, just like the last time I saw them.'

I thought to myself as I remembered how scared I was the first time I saw those beastly eyes.

'Now that I think about it, it seems like all of them remained the same as the last time. It's just that all of them became much more transparent than before.'

While I'm still being held still, I couldn't help but look at the others and noticed the difference between the last time I saw them and now.

Previously, all of them still possessed a solid looking body, but now, they all looked like a ghost that are somewhat capable of having a body but not as solid as one.

'Is this the reason why they all did not respond to my call all those?'

I asked, particularly no one, as I finally discovered the reason why they did not answer my call whenever I needed guidance.

"Now now, Daigoro-san, would you please calm down? Although we share the same opinion as you, I can't say that we appreciate the way you are acting right now."

While I was mumbling some random stuff in my mind, a young, weak looking man started to calm down the person who was still glaring at me.

'Yoichi Shigaraki... the first user.'

I called out his name in my mind as I looked at his appearance now.

Just like before, he still has a sickly and malnourished appearance and a weak looking body.

He has a white, messy hair, similar to that of Tomura Shigaraki.

But unlike Tomura, the bastard, Yoichi's hair reached to about his shoulders, and his bangs usually obscured his bright green eyes, which gave him a sinister appearance not consistent with his benevolent personality.

That's right, despite being the younger brother of All for One, now a human being named Tomura Shigaraki, Yoichi is a kind and gentle man.

He aim to inspires people to help the ones in need, and he wishes to stop his brother's wrongdoings.

But because he was weak during his time, and so is the Quirk [ One for All ] – the mixture of his original Quirk and the Quirk that his brother forcefully gave to him – at that time, he failed to do so and instead passed that wish to his successor.

But despite growing stronger, the strength of the second user is still nowhere near that of All for One, and thus, he too failed his mission.

Thankfully, before he passed away, he managed to pass the quirk that he inherited, as well as his original quirk, to someone else.

To a person who also wishes to fulfill Yoichi's wish.

But despite some of them almost succeeding, the rivalry of [ One for All ] and All for One continued to the point that multiple Quirks had already been mixed to Yoichi's very original quirk.

And just three years ago, I inherited all of the previous users' Quirks.

'Namely, [ Gearshift ] from the first successor – Ryu –, [ Fa Jin ] from the second successor – Jin –[ Danger Sense ] from the third successor – Hikage Shinomori –,[ Blackwhip ] from the fourth successor – Daigoro Banjo –,[ Smokescreen ] from the fifth successor – En –, [ Float ] from the sixth successor – Nana Shimura –, and then there is [ One for All ], the Quirk that was from the combination of Yoichi's original Quirk [ Quirk Bestowal ] – the quirk that allows all of those Quirks to be passed down to the next person – as well as the unnamed Quirk that he got from his evil brother, a Quirk that I named[ Power Stockpilling ]– because it allows its user to stockpile power and as an after effect, it also made each Quirks, that is currently mixed altogether, more powerful as time passes by –, truly all of these Quirks which is mixed into one is such a terrifying power for a single person to have.'

However, despite all of this power, by looking at my current situation, it seems that I am also bound to fail at this long-lived endeavor.

"Yoichi-san is right, Banjo-san. Your actions right now won't do good to help Young Midoriya, so please calm down."

Fortunately, my mumbling only happened in a few seconds, and so, I managed to return to my normal self before the previous users of [ One for All ] continue their discussions.

"... All right! All right! I'll calm down, but!"

Hearing Yoichi-san and All Might-sensei's words, Daigoro finally decided to agree, but before letting me go, he pulled me towards him once again and then...

"Promise me that you'll stop acting like the way you did just a few moments ago! Being weak willed like that will really allow that bastard to defeat you, so don't you ever do it again, do you understand?!"

... yelled out those words to me like a veteran yelling at a new cadet.

"I promise!"

Faced with those words and his soul piercing stare, those were the only words that I managed to say as a response.

"Good. Also, didn't you stop stuttering long ago, so why are you doing that once again?"

"Ohh c'mon senpai, give him a break already. Midoriya is facing a new kind of challenge, so it is all right to be out of composure once in a while."

"En is right, not to mention, you should know by now that, it is his coping mechanism whenever he survives a fight against that guy."

"Stuttering is a coping mechanism?"

""Anything can be.""

Hearing Daigoro's conversation with the fourth and sixth user of this Quirk, a wry smile couldn't help but appear on my phatom mouth.

"Don't think about their words, Izuku-chan. I'm sure they're just teasing you."

As soon as I was free from Daigoro's [ Blackwhip ], Nana Shimura, All Might-sensei's predecessor and the seventh user, whispered that to me before she giggled like a mother soothing her child.

I just decided to nod my head for now as I really don't know what to say to them.

After all, I'm supposed to stop Shigaraki from destroying Japan and doing whatever he wants with our world, but... as of right now, I'm not even at our home planet.

Suddenly, before I could once again enter the abyss of my mind, a thin hand landed on my left shoulder, and a voice that carried deep trust was heard by all of us.

"Although we might not be able to talk to you as we used to, always remember that we will always be with you, Young Hero."

I want to turn around and say a few hundreds of words to the person behind me, but then...

"That's right! It doesn't matter where you are or what might happen. We will always be at your side Izuku-chan."

"... Just careful out there, Midoriya-kun."

... One by one...

"Don't forget to train your Quirks so you can win next time, brat."

"Like what he just said, don't you dare slack on mastering our Quirks!"

... One voice after another...

"Just always remember that we will all watch you from here."

"And most importantly, don't get yourself killed, boy!"

... Till the last one of them...

"Don't worry, Midoriya-kun, I'm sure we will all see each other again. Until then, do what you want to do."

... Spoke their short messages on me.

"..."

And not long after, they all vanished.

Leaving me in the middle of darkness once again.

'Thank you, everyone. I won't disappoint you all.'

But unlike before, I now have a smile on my face because I am now prepared to face this world that is unknown to me.

"Yosh! I should go back to the real world now and apologize for my sudden behavior earlier."

I said to myself as I remembered the first people that I met in this unknown world.

'Well, that is if they're still out there, waiting for me.'

And with those thoughts in mind, I exited the Vestige World.

『 Omniscient POV 』

On a islet, a duo can be seen joyfully eating their dinner.

Sounds of laughter would be heard from them, from time to time, while a peaceful atmosphere can be felt around them.

"Hey guys, it's a wonderful evening isn't?"

Meanwhile, as the duo continued on assaulting their dinner, a green haired teen slowly and quietly walked towards them.

"Kyiii!!"

"Ahhh!!"

Subconsciously, the green haired teen walked towards them like a ninja, and so, the duo didn't even notice that the person that they had been waiting to wait up had finally did so.

Though, they only noticed that fact after they both heard his voice, which greatly shocked them.

Both the pink haired boy and the black haired teen raised their hands as they shouted.

But the difference is that, while the boy just raised his hands, the teen's, on the other hand, literally had his arms stretched far up in the air.

Which once again shocked the young hero just like earlier, before he fell in his short slumber.

Of course, considering how most people in his home world has a Quirk that allows them to do some unnatural and incredible stuff, he shouldn't be surprised by Luffy's ability to stretch his arm by now.

But because both Coby and Luffy claimed that Quirks didn't exist in this world, he thought that they would be a normal human without superpowers or whatsoever.

'But I guess I'm wrong.'

Thought Midoriya as he watched how Luffy's arm quickly returned to normal after the initial shock of his appearance died down.

"Mi-midoriya?!"

"Izuzu, you're awake!!"

Sadly, before Midoriya could even deeply dive in his thinking, the duo once again shouted out loud.

One is more excited than the other.

"Now that you're awake, you should eat first before we leave this island to get our next member!"

Exclaimed the excited teen, as he finished eating that last fish that Coby cooked for them all.

"Uhm~ Luffy-san, you just ate the food that we reserved for Midoriya..."

Coby's words greatly shocked Luffy as the latter jumped from his sitting place before exclaiming...

"Whaa?! Why didn't you stop me?!"

... an unreasonable question to the pink haired boy.

And, of course, the only thing that the boy could do was helplessly stare at him.

Hey guys, I just wanna say that I couldn't find the real names of the second and third user of One for All and so, I just decided to name them myself. Also, I know it has been just talking and talking so far, but I really hope you all are liking the story so far.
