Chapter 18 - Terrifyingly Wild Luffy

『 Omniscient POV 』

As Midoriya's fight kept on getting harder and deadlier, the battle of his friends was also becoming dangerous as it kept on going.

"Luffy!!"

Nami exclaimed in fright as she saw how a pirate was about to slice Luffy's back, but as if not even worried about it, he continue his assault in his front.

"Ack!!"

And the reason for that was because of the swordsman behind him, who attack the blind spot of the pirate that was about to attack him.

"Thanks, Zoro!!"

"Heh! No worries!!"

After their short exchange of words, the duo once again ran towards the crew of pirates that wants to climb the road of the cliff and go towards the village to cause chaos.

This crew initially had a large number which reaches three digits but after the Gatling Punches that Luffy did earlier, almost a quarter of them were unfortunately put into their sleep.

And after that devastating attack from Luffy, Zoro hurriedly ran towards the closest pirates on him and slashed their chest vertically.

"Ack!!"

"Why you!?"

*Thud!*

"[ Two Sword Style; Twin Hurricane ]!!"

*Thud!!*

And now, after performing the attack that he had just made during his last few trainings, the pirates surrounding Zoro all fell onto the ground all at the same time.

*Step!*

"Gomu-gomu no!!!"

Then as if on cue, a brown sandal suddenly stepped on the face of the last man who fell down before the owner of the sandal jumped up in the sky.

"Pistol!!"

This person was of course Luffy, who just sent a giant like human back into the ship that it had came from.

"W-wow!! Zoro is so cool and Luffy is so strong!! Zoro can defeat so many enemies at the same time while Luffy can sent some 8 feet bastard flying at that distance! Wow!?"

Seeing their stunts and attacks, Usopp was left to be in awe.

But despite being in that state, he did not forget to help, even by a little, as he would use his slingshot to shoot the waking fallen pirates into their heads to make them fall asleep again.

And of course, he would cover Zoro and Luffy's back from the pirates that would somehow slip into their backs.

Unbeknownst to the long noised teen, the duo was intentionally letting some pirates go to their backs to see if he would do what he had said to them.

And so far, he did not disappoint them... yet.

'Heh! So you want to be a brave warrior of the sea, huh? Then I will help you be one!!'

Luffy thought to himself as he sent another dozens of men back towards the see with a wide grin on his face.

"Return us our treasure!!"

"Or come and face my swords!!"

Luffy and Zoro exclaimed respectively, as they both stepped onto the pile of unconscious pirates below them, like they had practiced this line multiple times already... which they actually did NOT.

"What are you bastards doing?! If we get any more late than this, Captain Kuro will kill us all!!"

As soon as the remaining standing pirates took a step back, because of fear, a certain angered voice was heard by all of them.

This voice came from a certain blonde pirate, whom Kaya's four eyed bastard of a butler talked to yesterday.

"Captain..!"

And in absence of the said bastard, this blonde was the acting captain of the Black Cat Pirates, the crew of pirates that Luffy and the others are facing right now.

"But Captain Jango, we can't possibly beat them!!"

"That's right! We can't even come close to them!!"

Hearing the complains of his crew, Jango cursed their opponents for a few more times before he pulled out a pendulum and then began to chant some kind of mantra.

Noticing his actions, his crew, as well as Zoro and Luffy, looked towards the pendulum that Jango is now swinging left and right.

'This!'

"Luffy close your eyes!!"

Fortunately, before Jango could finish his chant, Zoro quickly closed his eyes as his guts told him to.

*Crack!!*

"Whoooo~~!!"

"I-I feel stronger!!"

Then after few moments of darkness, when Zoro finally opened his eyes, he saw how the previously weak pirates were now crashing some rocks to dusts and huge boulders into tiny bits of rocks with ease.

"How did they get stronger?!"

Upon seeing that, Usopp exclaimed his thoughts out loud as his mouth opened wide.

"Hey, Luffy! Why are you so quiet!? Are you okay?!"

"Now, go wild and kill your enemies!!"

Unfortunately, despite Zoro's warning, Luffy could not do the same as Zoro because his eyes were full of curiosity and so, he paid full attention at the pendulum.

And as a result of that, when Jango gave out his command at his crew, Luffy also went wild.

He ran much faster compared to what Jango and his crew had seen before and then... passed by the crew who was running towards him.

He skillfully avoided each attacks that came towards his body and not long after, the young pirate had already came out behind the wild group of pirates.

But despite that, he did not go to Jango and attacked him, instead he went towards the ship that had a jolly roger of a black cat's face.

"Wha-what is he doing?!"

"Luffy get back here!!"

Despite the shout of his enemies and friends, Luffy continued to his destination without a care in the world.

And once he reached the front of the ship, Luffy stretched out his hands and began to exert his strength to the fullest before he began to pull the bow of the ship out of its body.

"Waah~! He's taking away the bow!!!"

"He's destroying our ship!! Stop him!!"

Scream of desperation and fear were heard by Zoro and the others as they just watched the show that Luffy was making.

"H-ho-how strong is he?"

And of course, despite the shock and fear, Usopp still managed to asked the woman besides him the question that he had in mind.

"Go Luffy!!!"

"..."

Sadly for him, Nami completely missed his question as she screamed her support the moment Usopp asked his question.

While Zoro, on the other hand, heard him... even he doesn't know the answer to that, yet.

And so, the swordman just chose to remain in silence.

"Stop it you bastard!!"

"Attack him, quick!!"

"He can't defend himself right now, kill him!!"

"Whhhaaaaa~~!!!"

Contrary to how quiet and somehow relax Zoro's group was, the group of pirates continue their scream of despair as they hurriedly run towards Luffy's body.

Including to those pirates was the giant like human who has an overweight man who wears an outfit based loosely on a black and white cat.

He has pale skin, sharp teeth, tiny eyes, and wears cat ears on his head.

This man was the same man that Luffy had sent flying earlier.

But now that he was much powerful than before, his mind and body is being driven by revenge as he ran towards Luffy.

"I'll go ahead of you, Buchi!!"

But despite this giant's efforts to reach Luffy as soon as possible, a very skinny man still managed to passed by him after he heard the skinny man's words.

The man is fairly tall height, standing at over six and a half feet but because of his hunched back, the skinny man appears to be smaller than he actually is.

The said hunched man has green hair that is parted to the side and curls at the end, with two other parts of hair on the sides of his head growing downwards in a curly-looking way.

He also has cat ears sticking out from the top of head. He has green, cat-like eyes, and can be seen wearing with a wicked grin.

"Sham!!"

Buchi, the giant human, yelled out loudly but not because of anger that someone tried to attack his prey but because of worry.

"Wha-!!"

After all, who would not be worried when faced with a huge bow of a ship coming on their way.

"Ahh!!"

"Ahck!!"

"No-!!"

"He-!!"

And in an instant, almost all of the pirates that was running towards Luffy was sent flying and were dropped few dozens of meters away from the assailant.

Who was the assailant?

Well, it was none other than the young straw hatted pirate himself, Luffy.

"Nice one, Luffy!!"

"Heh!"

"Whoaaa~!! He defeated almost all of them with a single attack!! S-su-super scary~!!"

As a result of that attack, various screams were made and heard in a span of a few seconds.

"You!!!"

Upon seeing that, although he was also scared as heck and is visibly shaking, Jango yelled out his frustration before he pointed his pendulum towards Luffy.

"Sleep!!"

And with that command alone, Luffy fell on the ground and then he sleep while releasing a very audible snore.

This scene, of course, produced an awkward silence that came from both sides.

"What!? How did he do that?!"

Then, after a few moments of silence, Usopp finally screamed out his confusion while sweating furiously.

'!!'

"I think I have an idea..."

After Usopp's outburst, Nami spoke out her thoughts and explained that the acting captain of their opponents, Jango, might be using an ability called, hypnosis.

Of course, when Usopp heard that, his skepticism was what came out of him, which made him ask more questions than necessary.

"We also don't know how he did it... not that it matters, but at least, we now know that he is capable of doing that."

Fortunately for Nami, Zoro saved her from Usopp's barrage of questions.

"Now, prepare yourself. The fight is not over yet."

And as if to prove Zoro's words, the pirates that was now out of their shocked states, as well as, some of the pirates that woke up, finally screamed out their renew vigor and once again ran towards Zoro and his group.

Of course, Zoro did not just remained still and watched while that happen as, soon after he spoke his words to Usopp, he too began to ran towards the group of pirates.

"Damnit!! Why won't you just bastards leave this place alone!!!"

Screamed the long nosed teen before he shot the pirate that was just about to slash Zoro's back.

"Nami just sta-!! Where is she!?!"

After releasing a few more shots towards the enemy pirates, Usopp finally noticed the dissappearance of the orange haired teen.

Thankfully, after a quick search, the long nosed teen found his source of concern... right in front of the ocean of pirates before them.

'Hu~ I thought she ran away while I was not looking.'

Thought the slingshot user before he began to cover for her too as the oranged haired woman skillfully used a staff to knock some pirates out of the fight.

Then after several minutes of fighting, she finally find an opening and thus, she began running towards the direction of Lu-

'!!'

"Oi, woman!! Where are you going?! Luffy is on the other side!!"

"No one will touch him right now!! What I need to focus on is my treasure!! I don't know how they got it here but I will get it back!!"

Yelled out the young thief when she heard the scream of the young liar.

'Thank you Kami, Kaya is not like her...'

That was the only thought that Usopp had the moment he heard Nami's words.

"Who said yo-!!"

Jango, who was about to intercept Nami's way towards the treasure that was placed in his back, suddenly felt a drenching feeling which prompt him to dodge towards his left.

"Who said you can go?"

Then, a second after his action, Jango heard the question that he was just about to scream.

"You!! How-!!"

Not long after his confusion, he finally saw the scene that would forever be in his mind.

'H-he...'

At the slope of the cliff, Jango saw the numerous bleeding bodies of pirates.

'He defeated them all?!'

Some of them were killed while some were laying on the ground... armless and bleeding.

'Just how fast is he!?'

With some of them dying because of blood lost.

"W-wait! Le-let's talk this out-!!"

Realizing the current situation, Jango tried to talk his way out of his current situation... but then!

"Achk!!"

*Bam!!*

*Thud!!*

The person before him... suddenly jolted towards him before he fell on the ground, unconscious.

"What's happening here?"

And a new person came into Jango's view.

'Finally!'

A person that brought some relief to him as well as a great amount of fear.

"Please help us... Captain Kuro!!"

"Klahadore!!"

That's right, the person who suddenly appeared behind Zoro and attacked him was none other than the main culprit of this messed up situation.

"..."

Hearing the screams of his real and fake names, the four eyed bastard released a deep frown through his face.

『 Meanwhile 』

Inside of Kaya's room, a beautiful teen can be seen sleeping... uncomfortably, because of the dream that she is seeing right now.

In her dream, she was being surrounded by a group of pirates.

A group that was being led by a person that is shaped and dressed like Usopp, but did not have his face.

'Usopp! What are you doing!?'

But despite the lack of his facial features, Kaya still identified this person as her friend, Usopp.

Unlike the real Usopp, however, the Usopp in her dreams did not display the kindness that Kaya is fond of.

Because instead of kindness, as this 'Usopp' speak to her, Kaya noticed that he was full of hate and anger.

Then not long after that realization, 'Usopp' finally did something that Kaya did not imagine he was capable of doing.

'No!!'

Screamed the young maiden when she saw that the machete in Usopp's hand was about to hit her.

"Ahh!!"

Thankfully, at that moment, Kaya finally scaped her nightmare.

But because of that nightmare, she was panting quite hard.

"I don't understand... why would Usopp-san say something like that?"

After regaining some composure, the young maiden began to ask herself the question that had been floating in her mind.

This question had been in her mind ever since... she slapped Usopp in his cheek.

"Klahadore, are you there? I need some water, can you bring me some, please?"

But as she was thinking that, she suddenly felt that her throat was asking for some water and so, she called for a certain individual.

"Klahadore?"

Receiving no response from the front door, Kaya finally stood up and when she opened the door, she discovered that no one was in front of it.

'Weird.'

Thought the young maiden, because, usually, Merry or Klahadore would be at the door for her every call.

That's the reason why, she went out of her room and began to look for the butler that she trusts the most.

"Klahadore, where are you?"

What... or who she found and learned at this search, however, were something that broke the trust that she had to him.
