That night I wasn't able to sleep among the corpses. I was the reason for their death. And yet, now if I do not devour their dead bodies, I am going to suffer even more. I can imagine the tortures he will put me through in order to break me.

System has assured me that fate will not let me die or get maimed. But that does not assured me. Sexual tortures were something that I have never experienced before. While I might take on the physical pain, I didn't know what mental issues I will face afterwards. Even the physical pain will be tremendous. I have faced all kind of injuries in the dawn Island. But sexual tortures were something that I have never gone through. So I read myself for the worst. Obviously I didn't get any normal food that night. Neither I got any the next morning. The only thing that saint Gingerland was better than compared to other celestial Dragons was giving adequate food to his slaves. Or at least adequate for a normal person.

And when he denied me that I had no other choice but to stay hungry.

The next day came.

After the other slaves got their breakfast, finally Gingerland showed up.

"Ahhhhhhh ! Wonderful ! As I expected, you refused your food !" Gingerland spoke in a sickeningly sweet voice that could give anyone diabetes.

"It would have been good for you if you have eaten your food like a good pet you are. But that wouldn't have given me any pleasure. I am happy that you didn't eat them. Gingerland waved his hands as a few slaves started cleaning up the corpses from the cage where I was being held.

"Now as I told you before, you will face punishment. Be ready ! Because there is no going back now !" I hardened my heart for what is going to come for me. But surprisingly he left. He left me alone.

He left me alone for next four days without a crumble of food. I was given a bare minimum amount of water but no food.

The problem with our Monkey D. family was that we were voracious eaters. Of course we have more strength, stamina, vitality and regeneration ability than any normal human, but in exchange of those things, we usually eat a lot. I mean a lot more than a normal human.

So there is a downside in our bloodline. We cannot survive for a long time without food.

In the first day of my fasting, I practiced Haki with the help of Alfred.

But in the second day when I realised that there might be no food for me for who knows how long, I decided to stop practicing Haki, and started to conserve my energy with seimi kaikan. It is a technique to control one's metabolism and conserve or burn out calories in one's body. I had made another variation of it, taking inspiration from Luffy's gear two, the cardinal acceleration. But that was not important for me at the moment.

Because even with conserving my energy, I was running pretty low on the 4th day.

I doubted that I would be able to pull out a close victory against those normal adult fighters in this state.

When I was barely holding myself from passing out from hunger, Gingerland came back.

Maki couldn't see anything. Her entire head was covered with a black cloth like a prisioner who is going to get a death sentence. It was the first thing they did when they took out from her cell. She was too week to resist the physically stronger men. Although she was mentally prepared, her physical exhaustion and hunger was taking a toll on her mental strength.

She was silently taken into a chamber from which she could smell strong ouder of blood and other bodily fluids.

As soon as the man who were, taking her stopped, they tore apart the clothes on her body. Fortunately they have ignored the small bracelet in her hands given by her mother.

After that they lift her up and bound her hands above her head hanging her in the air.then they spread apart her legs and tied them somewhere so that she couldn't move them.

"What an ugly thing you are ! But even with the malnourished body, you are quite developed."

*Snap* the sound of a whip hitting soft flesh was heard followed by a cry of pain.

"Aaaahhhhhh !"

Gingerland hit the spread vagina of Maki with the whip. It will so painful that Maki cried out. She has never felt so much pain in her life before.

"Aha ! That was the cry I was talking about. So pleasant !"

After that, Gingerland continued his torture. After hitting her privates with whip for a while, Maki's cries eventually died down. And in half an hour, she was not even crying anymore. Even with her weak body her determination remained unwavering no matter how much pain her body felt.

"Hahaha ! What a strong will power ! It's a pity that your born a commoner. Even if you have been the princess of a no name Kingdom I would have taken you as my wife !"

After an hour of torturing, Gingerland got bored when he didn't got any response from Maki. He could have tried other methods but he wasn't going to use all of his tricks in a single day.

"Oh well ! It's better this way. I will take my sweet time breaking you. For now that pain didn't work, let's try pleasure !

But before that, I will reward you for impressing me."

"Unbound her and give her some food. We will start again after she is done eating." He ordered one of his slaves as he walked away.

By the time he left Maki, she was bleeding heavily from her vagina and breasts.

After her torture was over, they unbound her hands. And brought a small plate of meat. It was surprisingly well cooked unlike the half cooked meat they usually get in the slave quarters.

But Maki was in no situation for doubting. She immediately finished the plate of food in one gulp. It wasn't much. In fact it was no where near enough to fill her stomach.

But it was enough for her to endure another session of torture.
