A swamp Human ?

I took deep breath to calm myself down.

'Is this a coincidence ?

No it can't be.'

I had found the pirate crew that I was looking for here in a small Island waiting for the storm to calm down.

I suddenly remembered the two life choices system had given me. The worst possible fate was waiting for me. And I had chosen it myself.

So there was no going back now. But I was not just going to be a sitting duck and accept my fate. I didn't think much and slowly started to decend from the mountain. Thankfully due to the heavy storm their attention was towards the ship. It took me about half an hour to reach the bottom without alerting anyone. After reaching the bottom I decided to check the ship first.

Activating my observation haki, I found multiple people in the galleon. From the position of their sitting and the negative emotions, it was clear that all of them has been captured by these pirates. It was hard to find the exact location of my father among them.

I had gotten the warning about tri head pirates from many people. They were supposed to be grand line level pirates. So here in the east blue, no one is a match for them. I was not going to ignore the warning and going to save everyone. I was no hero. I just wanted my father back. So after observing them for a long time from distance I finally decided to infiltrate their ship and find my father first. Before going to the ship I finally decided to take a look at the pirates on the beach and the deck. But what I didn't know that it was a grave mistake for me.

Gattu felt someone observing him from far away. Obviously a pirate who once used to sail in the new world, he knew both armament and observation haki.

So he immediately used his own observation haki to find the culprit. He felt a presence behind a giant Rock not far from where their ship is docked. Gattu's observation haki was inclined towards sensing others presence rather than predicting the attacks. Although it worked well enough for him to survive in predicting the attacks too, but he was proud of his sensing ability.

The presence behind the rock was strong.

He put up his guard but didn't alert anyone about the newcomer.

Gattu has eaten a logia type swamp swamp devil fruit and has taken years to master it to the best of his ability.

So as soon as he sensed the newcomer, he started to release his swamp from the front back towards the ground. Lovely but surely advance forward and covered the entire area around the ship and the rock. After covering the entire area, Gattu suddenly activated his ability to swallow things up.

But to his utter surprise, the figure jumped away and landed outside his swamp as everything including the large rock the figure was hiding behind got swallowed up by Gattu's swamp.

Gattu clicked his tongue.

It was going to be a lot harder for him.

The swamp swamp devil fruit is a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create, control, and transform into mud at will, making the user a Swamp Human. In the anime and manga it was eaten by Caribou.

But looking at the sight below me, I had no doubt that this was the power of the swamp swamp fruit.

Just when I was checking any formidable presence on board, my observation haki picked up something out happening around me. Just as my senses warned me, I jumped away from the position where I was hiding. After jumping in the air, I saw that the ground I was standing on has turned into mud. On top of that the large Rock I was hiding behind, was slowly being swallowed by the mud.

Even with the low visibility, I could see that the mud has surrounded the area around the Rock extending towards the ship. Now I had no doubt about it . It was the user of swamp swamp devil fruit. One of the most underrated logia devil fruit to ever exist. But I knew better. In reality, swamp swamp fruit has a lot of potential. It will completely depend on the user have dangerous this disgusting fruit could be.

I landed away from the swamp and looked towards the person who created it.

It was a man around eight feet tall. He was muscular in the department of upper body. But he definitely has skipped the leg day. But above all else he has a disgusting punchable face with small eyes, non existent nose and fat lips. He was completely bald but had a pointy head.

Just give him a fat body with a little bigger eyes and he will be the little brother of magin Buu.

But jokes aside in the serious situation, the man didn't like it that I dodged his attack. So he ordered the rest of his men on board, to attack me.

"What the hell you bastards are looking at ! Can't you see this is an enemy attack ?

Fire bring her down !"

This was going to be a long fight. But actually I didn't need to save all of them by defeating the entire pirate crew. I just needed to save my father.

In moment like this, I seriously wish that I would have conqueror's haki right now.
