C.1 I’m law

Johan had been challenged by a formidable rival, a highly experienced and skilled fighter, in yet another contest for the defense of the Mixed Martial Arts championship.

Both combatants entered the ring with determination, aware that this fight would be decisive in their careers.

From the beginning, Johan showcased his skill, dodging his opponent's strikes and launching precise attacks. But his rival was not far behind, countering with speed and agility.

The fight was intense and closely contested, with both fighters exchanging powerful blows. As the fight progressed, it became evident that neither of them was willing to give ground.

Despite his skill, Johan started showing signs of fatigue, and his opponent, seizing the opportunity, began to press on, delivering a precise blow that left him dazed. Johan tried to recover, but his opponent didn't give him any respite and landed a second, stronger blow.

Johan fell to the ground, unable to continue the fight. The medical team quickly entered the ring, but it was too late. Johan had lost his life in a momentous battle.

The next thing I knew, a flood of memories started invading my brain, thousands of moments from a life that wasn't mine passed before my eyes. I could feel the happiness and pain of each moment as if it were my own, and suddenly, a strong headache overwhelmed me, causing me to faint in the process.

After an indeterminate amount of time, I felt my consciousness returning, but I was no longer myself. "Am I in this person's body and still myself at the same time?" I wondered.

As my mind refreshed, I realized who I was, where I was, and what situation I was currently in. Somehow, I found myself in the world of One Piece, a fantastic and dangerous world full of pirates and marines battling across the seas. But what surprised me the most was who I had fused with.

My consciousness had somehow merged with a character known as Trafalgar D. Water Law. Somehow, after dying in the fight, I managed to transmigrate into Law's body in a rather critical situation.

I was currently hiding inside a treasure chest, just moments after Doflamingo shot Rosinante for his betrayal. I could hear the footsteps of Doflamingo's crew running towards the shore, believing that I was the boy the marine had recovered.

Law seemed to be in the midst of a mental crisis, as tears kept streaming down my face. I felt a heavy pressure in my chest and an itch in my throat.

The overwhelming emotion of losing Rosinante still flooded over me. I cared for Rosinante as if he were my own "father figure." It seemed that I had fully merged with Law, and part of his personality and feelings were affecting me.

Every thought in my head revolved around seeking revenge against Doflamingo, but those plans would have to wait.

At the moment, I didn't even know how to use my newly acquired Devil Fruit. I knew it wouldn't take long to adapt; it just needed a quiet place and time. But after all, that's the only thing missing.

While Law remained lost in his thoughts, he sensed commotion around him as the box he was in fell and abruptly stopped when it hit the ground.

The crew was preparing to board their ship, and from my position inside the treasure chest, I managed to observe how all the members of the Doflamingo family turned their backs on me. Seizing the opportunity quickly, I emerged from the treasure chest and embarked on a desperate escape, running as fast as my feet would allow.

As I ran, I still couldn't control the tears of pain, as a searing agony took hold of me. But thanks to that, I realized that neither my footsteps nor my voice made a sound. "That means Rosinante was still protecting me with his last breath," Law thought. This knowledge not only made me feel even sadder about Rosinante's loss, but also fueled my hatred for his brother.

I kept running until I reached the coast of the island. It was docked where the small and dirty Rosinante used to travel. I quickly climbed aboard the small boat and set sail.

I didn't know the name of the island I was on or which sea I was in, but I didn't care. I let myself be carried by the current as I lay on the floor of the boat in a fetal position, clutching a knife that was in the boat. It didn't take long for the sounds of cannons firing and distant screams to reach my ears.

At that moment, my cries were finally heard, indicating that Rosinante had taken his last breath. I sailed aimlessly, letting the boat be guided by the current while I cried myself to sleep on the small deck.

Some time later, I felt some pecks on my face, which woke me up. As I opened my eyes, I was greeted by a seagull pecking incessantly at me. "Get out of here, you damn bird," Law said, waving his arms to shoo away the seagull.

Turning my head around, I noticed that the boat had reached the shore of an island. Before getting off the boat, Law started having a severe coughing fit, spitting a bit of blood into his hand. "It's true, even at this stage of life, Law was still sick. I still have Amber Lead Syndrome," Law thought as he tried to make a ROOM gesture with his hand, but nothing happened.

Law sighed and gathered the few belongings in the boat, such as Rosinante's cloak, some fruits, bread, and a knife. He packed them into a bag before getting off the boat and venturing into the unknown island.

The coastline was filled with trees and palm trees, and the sea water was clear and beautiful. Gradually, I ventured deeper into the forest and observed birds like swallows. After some time, I found a tranquil spot in the woods and began practicing Room, feeling somewhat worried about my life.

Law sighed. He had already made 60 attempts without success. He closed his eyes and tried to concentrate once again. "Room," he said, and... Soon, a small blue sphere extended from my hand, enveloping my body and creating a one-meter radius around me, with myself at its center. With his other hand, Law took the small knife and, with some apprehension, attempted to separate his arm.

Automatically, his arm was floating, much like the limbs of "Buggy the Clown" when he uses his fruit. But Law didn't feel any pain. Placing his arm back in its original position, I understood how Room worked and began using all of Law's knowledge to heal myself, recalling everything Law's father had said about Amber Lead Syndrome.

Now came the challenging part: I needed to locate the amber lead in my body and extract it.

Amber Lead, a highly profitable white mineral extracted in Flevance, is toxic but goes unnoticed in low concentrations. The problem is that the future children of someone with amber lead in their system would have the same concentration of amber lead in their bodies as their parents.

This leads to an accumulation over time, eventually causing the child to die before reaching adulthood. Since there was no known way to extract amber lead from the body, it was deemed incurable.

Now all I have to do is use Room to extract each piece of amber lead from my body. Thinking about where the disease would have the highest concentration, I aimed at the white spot on my forearm and made a swift, stabbing motion with the knife. I pierced my forearm without feeling any pain, and suddenly, "Crack!" a small white rock emerged from my skin and shattered on the ground.

Upon closer inspection, it looked more like a tiny white sphere, which I quickly recognized as the Amber Lead that had come out of my body.

It was attached to me by a white cord that extended from my forearm to the hanging sphere. I extended my knife toward the cord and cut it. As a result, that small amount of amber lead fell to the ground.

With an enchanted smile upon finally finding a cure for my terminal illness, I repeated the process on any white spot on my body, separating my organs one by one and extracting the disease using Room. I continued until there was not a single area of my body with white parts of amber lead.

With a satisfied smile, I began walking deeper into the forest, heading towards the giant mountain shaped like a swallow, hoping to find some civilization.
