Chapter 232: Shushibaruba Fights on

The beams started to hit the ground everywhere. "Dodge it," Ben yelled. 

Kaya, BM and Ben flew up and down, left and right dodging the beams mid-air. "Careful," Ben said to Kaya. Kaya nodded. 

Alvida used her mace to block the beams. She moved her mace to keep countering the beams as they would bounce off her mace. She smiled. 

Honey and Nojiko stood still as the beams went through their bodies. "Being a logia has its advantages," Nojiko remarked. 

Mikita and Zala skillfully leaped backward, avoiding the erratic beams that shot across the room. "These beams are going everywhere," Mikita remarked, her eyes darting to the unpredictable trajectory of the energy streams.

"They sure are," Zala concurred, gracefully sidestepping another stray beam that streaked dangerously close. 

Meanwhile, Vivi and Marianne swiftly dodged beams by maneuvering left and right. "That was close," Vivi exclaimed. Marianne nodded. 

Robin just moved gracefully left and right dodging the beam. Saphir Rubis and Emeraude used their spears to deflect the beams. Saphir wiped the beams deflecting it away from the group. Rubis and Emeraude did the same. 

Ben saw Zala, Mikita, Marianne and Vivi jumping around to dodge. He knew there is only so much they can dodge. Ben flew towards Shushibaruba. He dodged the beam as he went closer to the tube. "Demon Blast," Ben said as he fired a beam from two of his hands. The dark beams went towards the tube and exploded. A black smoke cloud was seen and Shushibaruba stopped attacking. 

"Did it work?" Zala asked.

As the smoke cleared, the tube was damaged and out of shape. Shushibaruba looked at Ben. It opened his mouth and fired a large beam. Ben saw this coming dodged out of the way. The vast beam hit the ceiling and destroyed it. Ben looked back and he could see the blue sky. He thought, if that hits them, they are dead. 

"Let's go for this left arm," Ben ordered. 

The girls nodded. Shushibaruba then shot his arm towards Ben at high speed. There was a thruster on the back. Ben narrowly dodged the attack. At the moment the middle arm extended and grabbed Ben. 

Ben was surprised by the follow up. The arm has three large metal claws. It started to squeeze Ben. Ben could feel his body being squeezed. The pressure was causing pain. "Ben," Kaya said as she flew towards Shushibaruba's middle arm. "Unhand my King," Kaya added. "Angel Smash," Kaya said as she focused her energy around her fist. She then punched Shushibaruba. The punch was so violent it caused shockwaves throughout the long arm of Shushibaruba, 

At the same time, Saphir and Emeraude and Rubis all three lept into the air. They aimed their spears at the claws and struck it with force. Shushibaruba let go of Ben. The four of them landed on the ground. 

"Thanks girls," Ben said. 

They all nodded back. "You have to be careful," Saphir urged.

"I have two talented doctors who will nurse me back," Ben stated. At that moment Shushibaruba`s middle arm went towards Ben and the girls. Alvida and Mikita came running towards the arm. Alvida used her mace while Mikita kicked the arm off course. 

"My love, now is not that the time for it," Alvida teased. 

"Pervert," Kaya remarked. 

"No is not the time," Nojiko added. She smiled. She just heard Kaya say "My king," and her power increased. 

"Lets focus," Ben said and added, "Go for his left arm." The girls nodded.

"Robin, grab his arm," Ben said. 

"Yes Captain," Robin replied. "Ochenta Fleur," Robin added as she sprouted eighty arms on its left arm. "Hold," Robin said like last time. 

Shushibaruba looked down at his arms. Its maw parted and unleashed a torrent of searing flames that engulfed its own arm. Robin felt the scorching heat, prompting an involuntary release. She dropped to her knees, overcome by the intensity of the burning sensation. 

Shushibaruba moved his middle arm towards Robin. Ben rushed and got her out of the way. Robin looked at Ben and smiled. "I will always protect you," Ben said. 

Alvida ran up towards Shushibaruba. She swung her iron mace at full power at its left arm. "Kanabo Swing," Alvida said. Shushibaruba moved its large mouth and tried to bite Alvida. Alvida jumped out of the way, narrowly missed being lunch.

Vivi aimed her Gero Gero gun and fired a frog shaped bullet at Shushibaruba`s left arm. Marianne saw this and followed up with her Yellow Gun and fired a diced shaped bullet at the same place. There was a large explosion on his arm. 

Shushibaruba moved from the smoke and charged towards Vivi. There were blown out panels on its arm in multiple place. BM then flew down and swung Kiribachi on Shushibaruba large mouth. Shushibaruba stopped and moved his middle arm towards BM who had just flown away.

Kaya and Zala caming running towards Shushibaruba. They both jumped in the air. "Groundbreaker," Mikita said as she increased the weight in her legs. She landed on its left arm in an exposed panel and delivered a powerful attack. The wiring and softer material got damaged and started sparing. Mikita jumped out. 

At the same time, Zala kept her feet together. She turned it into a long spike and started spinning. "Stinger Falcon Strike," Zala said as she struck another open panel and pierced the wires and a pipe. Zala jumped back as there was a small explosion as the fluid ignited. 

Nojiko surrounded the area with clouds. "Cloud Surge," she said. Shushibaruba looked around in the thick white clouds. 

Saphir came running towards its left injured arm. "Bleu Avalanche Assault," Saphir shouted as she used her spear to launch a series of spear attacks on his arm. Another panel broke off. 

"Let me," Rubis said. Saphir jumped back into the clouds. Rubis ran up to the same place as Saphir was. Rubis held her spear out. There were flames on the tip. "Rouge Blaze Thrust," Rubis said as she struck the exposed panel with her spear covered in flames. She punctured at a critical fluid line which ignited. Rubis jumped back. There were two small fires on his arm.

"He seems weaker now," Emeraude noted. 

"Liquid Whirlpool," Honey said as she created a swirling vortex of purple liquid around her hands. She launched it towards Shushibaruba. It impacted, causing the arm to bend slightly. There was purple liquid covering his arm.

"Lightning Barrage," Nojiko said as she darkened the clouds around it. Lightning bolts hit Shushibaruba at various points. One bolt stuck its large mouth. A second one impacted the damaged tube. It caused a secondary explosion. Another bolt hit its left arm. It caused another explosion on the arm. 

As the smoke and cloud cleared. They all could see the arm sparking and leaking fluids. Ben held his hand up. He started to form a spear-shaped projection of dark energy again. Ben saw the left arm with multiple panels blown out. There were two fires on his left arm. There was another fire on his back where the tube was. "Demon Abyssal Lance," Ben said as he hurled it at high speed. The dark spear pierced through left arm and exploded. The left arm came off. 

"Another arm down," Vivi announced, her voice carrying a mix of determination and triumph.

"It was slower," Rubis observed.

"It's like those treasure guardians. They grew weaker as each arm was destroyed," Emeraude remarked, drawing a parallel to their previous encounters.

"One more," Ben declared. 

At that moment, Shushibaruba started to glow. Its body started to display a bright light. It made a loud noise. 

"What's going on?" Marianne asked.

"Nothing good for sure," Alvida replied. 

Suddenly a bright light blinded them. Ben and the girls looked away. "Look away," Ben shouted. As the light disappeared, they looked to see Shushibaruba.
