When Abel arrived by speedboat, he was surprised to find that the Thunderbolt Pirate Crew was already fighting another group.
"Paul Valcourt, you think you can run after messing with my sister? Not a chance!"
A bald, muscular man was fiercely brawling with a ruggedly handsome guy.
"Boss Tang, it was just a one-time thing. Plus, your sister came to me of her own accord. What was I supposed to do, kick her out? You just don't understand your sister."
"Nonsense! My sister is so beautiful, there's no way she would be interested in a scumbag like you!"
"A scumbag? The Valcourt family doesn't tolerate such insults. Boss Tang, you better apologize and leave. For your sister's sake, I can let this go."
"Apologize? Hell no! If you don't stay here and marry my sister, I'll kill all of you!"
"Fine, let's settle this with our fists!"
Paul Valcourt feigned an attack and suddenly pulled out a handgun, firing repeatedly at Boss Tang.
But a strange thing happened. The bullets clearly hit Boss Tang, but he remained unfazed. He punched the bewildered Paul Valcourt, knocking him to the ground.
In a panic, Paul kicked out, but his leg got stuck halfway into Boss Tang's belly.
Seeing this, Paul Valcourt finally shouted, "You have Devil Fruit powers?!"
"That's right, I have the Gummy Fruit ability. I can turn my body into gummy, nullifying physical attacks. You're dead today."
Feeling confident, Boss Tang didn't mind revealing his ability. He landed another punch on Paul Valcourt's face, smashing it brutally.
"Argh!"
"I hate pretty boys like you the most, especially when you seduce other people's sisters! Take this!"
Paul Valcourt, with his leg stuck in Boss Tang's belly, couldn't escape. He was quickly beaten to a bloody mess and couldn't speak.
But the Thunderbolt Pirate Crew, having conquered the Grand Line and defended this island for a week against two waves of enemies, were no pushovers.
Suddenly, the sound of shattering glass echoed from nearby buildings. Numerous gun barrels emerged from windows, aiming at the brawlers below. Heavy machine guns were among them.
The West Sea is known as the birthplace of the Mafia, ruled by the "Five Great Families of the West." Paul Valcourt, a member of the Valcourt family, didn't have much personal combat prowess but had strong charisma, making him the captain.
Their sea voyages relied on overwhelming firepower, not personal bravery.
Now, faced with hundreds of gun barrels, who would dare move recklessly?
Oh, there was one person who dared.
Boss Tang, confident in his immunity to physical attacks, continued beating Paul Valcourt, smashing his face beyond recognition and knocking out his teeth.
This forced the Thunderbolt Pirate Crew's vice-captain to step in and stop him.
"Boss Tang, if you don't stop now, none of your people will leave here alive."
"Are you threatening me?"
"Just stating facts. You've fought and vented your anger. Since no one has been seriously injured yet, let's part ways and stay clear of each other."
As soon as he finished speaking, several people fired, forcing Boss Tang's men to retreat.
Boss Tang looked around at the guns pointed at him and then at his companions. With a sigh, he finally released Paul Walker, whose face was covered in blood.
"You've got more skills than this pretty boy. You're a real talent. What do you say? Interested in staying and marrying my sister?"
The first mate's face twitched at the suggestion. He forced himself to reply, "Boss Tang, you flatter me. I have no interest in women."
He wasn't truly uninterested in women. He just had no interest in Boss Tang's sister. He couldn't understand how Paul Walker could even bring himself to be with a three-hundred-pound woman.
But at least Paul got one thing right: Boss Tang had no idea about his own sister.
"Damn, you're gay. That's disappointing."
"Well, I'll let this pretty boy off today. But don't let me catch him bothering my sister or hurting my family again. Otherwise, I'll find him and kill him, no matter where he hides!"
"I'll relay your message exactly as you said once the captain wakes up."
"Hmph, you better. Let's go."
After his threat, Boss Tang left with his men, feeling rather bored. Before leaving, he glanced at the siblings standing not far away, watching the scene, and kindly reminded them, "Hey, show's over. Scatter before you get yourselves into trouble."
"This guy is interesting," Abel chuckled but did not respond.
Seeing Abel's disinterest, Boss Tang didn't bother anymore. He hated pretty boys. If it weren't for the fact that Abel was with his sister, he wouldn't have even spoken to him.
"Handsome guys should all go to hell."
Muttering this, Boss Tang and his men boarded their water scooters and left.
Paul Walker, who had been lying still, suddenly woke up once Boss Tang left, cursing nonstop.
"Jason, why didn't you order to take them out just now?"
The first mate rolled his eyes. In that situation, they could have wiped out Boss Tang's men with firepower, but this idiot would've been the first to die, didn't he realize that?
Boss Tang would have snapped his neck first!
But he couldn't say any of this aloud. He was just an ordinary man who had clawed his way up from the slums, with no powerful family background or influence. The position of first mate was his ceiling. If his superior died, there was no way he could take over. The other men wouldn't respect him because he couldn't provide weapons or salaries. Who would follow such a leader?
"Damn it, once my wounds heal, I'll go after Boss Tang first, take his sister, and after I've had enough, I'll give her to you all."
"No thanks, you can keep her for yourself."
At that moment, Abel and Baby-5 approached, immediately having several guns pointed at them.
