Imai had decided to not use her devil fruit powers before they got on the island. Since she had made herself known, she was positive the marines had contacted the higher ups that she was here.
The admirals had to show up, her appearance was more than a reason to show up, and the fact that she was with Boa Hancock only added more fuel to the fire.
Imai grinned at the dozens of marine ships chasing them.
"How far until we arrive at the island?" Imai asked.
"We'll get there in approximately thirty minutes." Boa Sandersonia replied from the deck.
"Hmm, we'll make it there in time, but we're going to be cutting it close. Those admirals are probably on their damn speed ships, we're going to arrive around the same time as them." Imai said.
"We're going to be caught up in something big aren't we? And there might be a chance one of us might not make it out alive right?" Boa Sandersonia asked.
"We're all going to make it out alive, I hope." Imai said. "Don't worry, that empress of yours won't let you guys die. She's strong."
"Thank you for the compliment." Boa Hancock said as she leaned against the railing, "What do you plan to do when we arrive? Are you going to fight them?"
Imai shook her head, "There's a concert waiting for us, I'm getting excited for it. I'd rather have some fun first then fight. I also want to see why she's a famous world class singer."
"Me too, I wonder if there's any mysteries surrounding the island. After all, I haven't heard of Elegia yet." Nico said.
"Well then, Hancock!" Imai exclaimed, with a grin and pointing a finger towards the sky.
"Y-yes?" Boa Hancock replied in surprise.
"Set your ship for full speed! We're going to blast through the sea and destroy all our enemies!" Imai said.
"Aren't I the captain?" Boa Hancock muttered to herself. Nonetheless, the set the ship for full speed and quickly headed towards Elegia.
Imai could see the island slowly coming into view as the marine ships started disappearing. She smiled at how fast the ship was despite pulling another ship. Though she knew the admirals could be there at any minute, they had the tools to create an even faster ship.
But as long as they arrived at the island first, that's all that mattered. \
Soon enough, they had arrived at the island. The sky had seemed to have gotten darker and many disco lights illuminated the area. They were greeted by several people who seemed to be the concert's managers and led them towards the concert.
"Also, I would suggest changing your clothing to match the theme of the concert. The store is to your left." the manager said.
To their left, there was a shop that had all kinds of bright, colorful clothing. There were also wand sticks that had a miniature Uta on top of the stick and signs that expressed their love to Uta.
"This is my first time coming into a merchandise store. And I have to say, it's a lot more different than I thought it would be." Imai said as she looked at the clothing.
"Well, hurry up, and pick. I'm also excited for the concert." Nico said.
There were loud cheers coming from the crowd which meant the show was starting soon. In the end, Nico picked out an outfit consisting of a long dark jacket that reached her thighs, short black skirt, and pink accessories. She also had on steel greaves and boots which she was comfortable moving in.
As for Imai, she went out of her comfort zone. She wore a pink and red hoodie to match Uta's outfit. Though there were visible differences. She decided to wear a skirt that matched the colors of her hood.
In Nico's words, her appearance was unique since she had dark purple hair, and red eyes.
"How do I look?"
"Beautiful, it's like you're young enough to be my girlfriend."
"Well, that's too bad."
Nico shook off Imai's pointless flirting and they followed the crowd that would lead to their seats. The Kuja pirates had already gone out on their own and were somewhere in the stadium.
Imai noticed that the stage was perfect, there was water that surrounded the water. Although it was bad for her, the aesthetics were definitely nice. The large stage would allow Uta to move around and less crowded.
The lights illuminated the sky causing everything to be even more beautiful and colors. Imai was mesmerized and amazed at the combination of colors that created such an amazing view.
"Her color theory knowledge must be at the peak…" Imai muttered.
"What?" Nico asked.
"It's nothing." Imai replied as she shook her head.
"Well, this is where we're going to be sitting."
"Hmm, not bad. We have a perfect view of Uta and if anything happens during her performance, we can also be there to save her. As expected of you, Nico, you're always thinking ahead. You should become my wife." Imai said.
"Maybe in another universe, just not this one." Nico said with a smile.
Imai laughed at the response, "I'm joking, I'm joking. Anyway, LOOK! She's coming out!"
Nico giggled at Imai's excitement. She's hardly ever seen her like this before, she was always fighting, and focused on surviving that she had forgotten to have fun.
'Though, why do I feel like a babysitter right now?' Nico asked herself before shrugging it off.
Suddenly, the lights disappeared and the cheering stopped. After a few seconds, several lights shone towards the stage where a figure could be walking. Her footsteps echoed across the stadium
She had red and white hair that was perfectly split in half. Her white hair covered her left eye and her hair was also tied into two long ponytails with circular braids at the end.
Uta's appearance perfectly matched the one Imai saw in the newspaper.
"Hello everyone!"
With just two words, Imai could already tell.
"Her voice is definitely heavenly."
