Ch-37 One day, I'll kill You!

As night slowly descended and the stars adorned the sky, Li Fan decided to conclude the training for Tashigi and Zoro.

"Alright, that's it for today's practice, Zoro and Tashigi."

"Head back and get a good rest, and also take some time to understand your roles in the script."

"Tomorrow, I'll be conducting auditions for each actor's part. Be sure to give it your all."

Tashigi and Zoro sheathed their swords, taking deep breaths.

Tashigi: "Don't worry, Li Fan. I'll give it my all to portray Tanjiro Kamado."

Zoro: "Zenitsu Agatsuma... Honestly, this role is quite challenging."

"Haha, in any case, both of you should give it your best. I'm looking forward to your outstanding performances."

With these words, Li Fan turned and made his way to the cabin with Medusa.

"Goodnight, Director Li Fan, Miss Medusa." Suddenly, Alice's voice came from behind Li Fan and Medusa.

"Well, it's like this, Director." Alice glanced at Medusa. "You see, Director, I previously played the role of Miss Medusa, right?"

"I think it might be some sort of fate."

"I know that Miss Medusa is planning to play the part of Kanae Kocho." (Medusa's role was changed from Shinobu Kocho to Kanae Kocho)

"In that case, could I portray Shinobu Kocho?"

"In the story, Kanae Kocho and Shinobu Kocho are a pair of sisters."

"So, I'd like to get to know Miss Medusa better through this production."

"Are you interested in playing Shinobu Kocho?" Li Fan looked at Alice. "It's not out of the question, but in general, we should wait until the auditions tomorrow before making a final decision."

"Regardless, give it your best shot."

Alice nodded eagerly.

"I understand, Director. Well then, Director Li Fan, Miss Medusa, please have a good night."

Li Fan also praised Medusa for her portrayal of Giyu Tomioka. ( I am also confused about how many roles she is playing. Maybe just auditions 🤔 )

Soon, Li Fan had roles for each actor in his mind.

Tashigi would play Tanjiro Kamado, Medusa would portray Kanae Kocho, Nami would be Nezuko Kamado and Alice would take on the role of Shinobu Kocho.

Li Fan himself would become Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira, preparing for the 'Mugen Train Arc.'

For some remaining key roles, Li Fan intended to recruit actors once they arrived in Cocoyasi Village.

"Now, the final question is for you, Zoro." Li Fan fixed his gaze on Zoro, who was blushing and looking down. "I've mentioned it before, but are you ready to audition now?"

"You're the last one left."

For Zoro's audition, Li Fan had chosen a scene in which Zenitsu appeared, bothering a girl and proposing marriage. To help Zoro give his best performance, Li Fan arranged for an actor to play the role of the girl who Zenitsu pesters, cooperating with him in the scene.

"Hey, swordsman of the three-sword style, how much longer do you need to prepare? Haven't you noticed that the director is growing impatient while waiting?" A boy with a cute appearance and long hair stood in front of Zoro, eyeing him with disdain. "Are you even a professional actor?"

"Damn it, I never claimed to be a professional actor in the first place." Zoro retorted, his frustration evident. "Why do I have to suffer through this? It's clear that this character is nothing like me."

"But Zoro, didn't you promise to give it your all when you were learning the swordsmanship for the role?" Li Fan tilted his head, "And Zoro, even if you're facing such difficulties, it's the same as crossing swords across different worlds. If you can't overcome this, how can you face all sorts of challenges and become the world's greatest swordsman?"

"Or are you planning to give up?"

"Damn it, I get it, I'll just act!" Zoro gritted his teeth, took a deep breath, and began to audition for the role of Zenitsu Agatsuma as described in the script.

To Li Fan's surprise, once Zoro entered the performance state, his portrayal was surprisingly close to the character.

After his audition, Li Fan didn't hesitate to applaud.
