We want to check

"This is too sudden for me. But there is one thing I'm clear about. You should not expect too much from me to keep this child. There is high possibility, that I will not keep this child." She answered looking down at her lap.

His heart pierced at the thought of losing his child. Afterall it's his first child, but he didn't ask her further and continued to drive. She looked at him, who did nothing but focus on the road.

Won't he ask me why I'm not keeping this child? Will he not convince me to keep this baby? Or it doesn't matter to him at all? Her thoughts were all over the place. But looking at his face, it looks so....hurt. He surely cares about all this.

They didn't talk again till they reached the hospital. Although the receptionist tried to stop them, but who can stop the Lucas Costanzo. He just directly rushed to the doctor's cabin.

She felt too much embarrassed when they just barged into the cabin, interrupting the doctor's words.

He just uttered a little sorry and asked them to continue before leaving the room. Ofcourse she followed him and wait until the doctor finished checking up her patient.

No words from him. But was she expecting him to say anything? Probably not. But deep down she want him to hold her in his arms, like he did earlier. Like he does whenever he wants to comfort her. It atleast made her forget her worries for sometime.

He just wanted to barge into the cabin again but her embarrassed face stopped him from doing so. Hell...This wait is making him go crazy. Soon the patient came out.

They finally entered the cabin only to meet the doctor who was sitting behind the table. Her face was expressionless, glaring at Lucas, clearly still angry for the intrusion earlier.

"We are sorry for earlier, doctor." She tried to break the ice. He also nodded but didn't said anything. She turned her head towards Bella and smiled professionally. She nodded in understanding.

"I understand. You must be in a hurry to see me. Please sit and tell me, how can I help you?" She asked them. They both sat and looked at each other, unable to talk.

Afterall none of them went through this before, so they don't know how to start talking about this. They quickly break the contact and looked at the doctor.

"We....I....I mean I took a pregnancy test at home and.....I'm pregnant." She said nervously. The doctor nodded her head asking her to continue. "So we..... I mean....can I check...."

"We want to check if she is really pregnant" he cut her words in the middle, because her slow talk is making him go insane. He looked at her face, heck it is so pale like a walking corpse. Her forehead is also sweating profusely. Okay...he needs to take on from here.

The doctor nodded her head in understanding. "Sure we can check if you are really pregnant. We just need to run some blood tests and you can get the results after tomorrow."

"Can't we get the results sooner...I mean now." He asked not giving Bella chance to talk. To be honest she is grateful he is the one who is talking. She don't want to talk too much as she felt at a loss of energy.

"Even if we rushed, it will take a few hours unless...." She stopped in the middle grabbing their attention. Their eyes looked up to the doctor in curiosity. "Unless we check it with ultrasound." She answered.
