One Last Wish

Confusion etched on her face in that her weakned state. "Wish.....?".

He caressed her face. "Yes my love.You still have one last wish to be fulfilled in your dairy."

Jane had written down some wishes that she'd love to do with her lover. She didn't show him neither did she tell him. Coming to think of it, all the things they've done in the past few days were all written down as her wishes in her diary. The castle like mansion - the one similar to her favourite cartoon, 'beauty and the beast', the beach and the small house near the sea, watching the sunset together on the beach, watching the morning sun on the rooftop, sleeping side to side always. The most fascinating thing was that her first ever sex was on a beach, which she has always wanted. But she felt those were impossible to fulfill, so she gave up all those things she wanted to do, to fulfill her one last wish. To experience love before her time runs out in earth.

"I read your diary after I came back home from my travel." He spoke after seeing the confusion slammed on her face. "I saw it lying on the table after I kept you on the bed to sleep."

A tear fell down from her eye. She never thought all this time, he was fulfilling her wishes. It never came across her mind. All this time, she thought it was just a mere coincidence. All the fulfilled wishes she thought happened by coincidence were now marked in her diary. If someone had told her that a day like this would come in her life, she would have one hundred percent doubt that person.

"Thank you." She spoke in an emotional voice.

He kissed her eyes. "I'll do anything and everything for you. I just want you to stay with me forever."

"I'm scared. I don't want to go through with the operation again."

"I will send in the best doctors my love. All I want from you is to stay alive for me, my love."

Their hands entwined together, and a small drop of tears rolled down from his eyes. She never knew he loves her so much to even shed a tear for her. To go far and beyond in fulfilling her written wishes. To fulfill her one last wish.

He kissed her hand and her forehead. He has already lost someone special to him before and he was scared to death if he looses her. His world darkened, and his world became dark and void after he had lost that person. And now that she came deep into his life,, he has fallen for her and she has brighten his dark world, and now....Now she was going to leave him? He's not ready to pass through that phase again. He doesn't want to go through the same torture he passed through years ago. His heart was not ready for that neither did he have that strength. He'll make sure he'll do everything in his power to keep her alive, even if he has to go one on one with the devil himself. He will.

"I love you." She spoke.

"I love you so much Jane. That's why I want you to grant this one wish for me. Please go through with the operation and stay alive for me. I love you so much. I don't want to lose you."

Her heart broke done to pieces. She had already made this decision a long time ago. She fears that she might not make it out alive. But what is love without sacrificing? What is love if a person is not ready to go far and beyond to put a smile on that special someone's face. Except from fulfilling her written wishes, he has done a great deal by fulfilling her written wish. Even if she does right now, she'll always and forever hold him close to her heart.

At one point of her life before he came into the picture, she used to think that all those things she has always wanted to do will only be in her head, only her silly imaginations. But ever since he appeared, he had made the impossible possible. She knew this will break him if she does not make a u-turn.

"I'll do it."

He stopped caressing her face and looked deep in her eyes. It came as a shock to him from what she said. She managed to let out a faint smile and her eyes were reassuring.

"I'll push through with the operation." She spoke as another tear fell from her eyes. "I'll do it for you. For our love."

He kissed her forehead feeling so relaxed now. "I promise. I'll do anything to make sure you survive this my love. Anything and everything for you."

He kissed her eyes, her cheeks and her forehead, feeling so happy and relaxed now.

"But not now."
