Mysterious

Since that incident took place years back, she kept having endless nightmares. At first, she thought it was because of the guilt she felt, but no. These two nightmares kept visiting her like a ghost on ocassional times. But why this one now? She hadn't seen this particular one in months now. So why did it appear again today. It was always something, sometimes that happened in reality, that triggers these nightmares. But this particular one wasn't related to the incident that took place years ago, even though it started appearing after that incident. So what was it? What was that thing that kept appearing in this particular dream of hers? How does it know her name, and what was her relationship with this mysterious creature in her dream?

In a very thick dark place, light brown eyes - one which the pupils could be seen very well just by a glance, spoke to her.

"Come to us. We will give you everything you've always asked of. Everything." It said with its deep voice.

"Who...who are you?" She said standing and trembling in fear.

"I am you Jane."

"No.....no....no. You.... you're not me." She said shaking her head in disbelief.

"Jane." It called out her name calmly approaching her slowly in the dark. Its body was not revealed but its eyes was moving slowly towards her, which made her flinch back a little. "Whatever it is you're planning on doing is forbidden." It said as it stopped coming close to her.

Jane stood there frozen. Her heart thudding wild and loud in her chest.

"For.... forbidden? Wh....what is it that's forbidden?" She asked really confused at what it said to her.

"You've been warned." Said the deep voice echoing in the dark.

She stood there still confused. She couldn't grab whatever it was saying to her. For the first time, she stared fearlessly into its eyes.

"You know what? If you know you aren't going to tell me anything, don't come appearing in my dreams like an uninvited guest. Don't keep me on all these suspense. You've always been doing this since the beginning till now."

"Jane." It called out her name angrily. The look in it eyes were furious. "You'll only put everyone's life in danger. Why are you so blinded?"

What it said made her a bit furious. "Blinded? I am now blinded? Everyone's life will be in danger?" She said in gritted teeth. "Truth be told. You....you're the one putting my life in danger. I don't even have an idea of who you are or what you want from me. I have no understanding of how we're related. And now what? You expect me to do whatever it is you say. To trust you? No. I won't. Listening to you will not just put my life in danger, but the people around me, the people I love so much. I won't let such thing happen. Never." She said angrily.

"Jane....." It screamed her name angrily. It brown eyes slowly turned into slight red, burning with fury, making Jane's eyes to be filled with scare. "You're just as stubborn as her. If she had listened, none of it would have happened. Why are you so stubborn?"

Jane's eyes that was filled with fear now turned into confusion and anxiousness.

"Her?" She asked calmly. "You always mention 'her'. Who is she? Who are you? What....what is it you want from me?" She asked almost breaking down. "My life has been filled with nothing but pains. I...I have nothing to offer to you either. I'm just a weak human girl whose days are numbered on earth. So what do you want from me? I have nothing. I'm just a poor dying girl. Why....why do keep appearing to me? Who are you?"

Its eyes turned light brown. It slowly approached her but seeing the dangerous look in it eyes, she flinched back. But it kept approaching her till she slipped and hit her butt on the hard dark ground. She felt his gaze travelling down to her chest, and it looked more angry. Though it eyes did not turn slight red like few minutes ago, but the look it gave to her was a very deadly look.

"Where is it?" It said in a deep terrifying voice as it stopped walking to her. 

Her eyes pooled down with tears. She couldn't bear anymore of all the confusion. Ever since day one of it appearance, all she had was several headaches whenever she tried to solve this mysterious puzzle of what it'd been saying. She cried not because of what it looked like even if she's only seen the eyes, but because of what it kept saying. It kept speaking to her like that. Not giving her any hint of whatever it was trying to say. And these nightmares was one of the reasons she felt guilty more and more. It looked like she had had enough of it.

Its gaze was fixated on her waiting for a reply.

"What.....what are you saying?" She said crying. "Please.....please, just.....just let me go. I beg you. It's killing me. Everything. Please..." 

His gaze never changed. It took few more steps closer to her and narrowed its face to her. 

"It's forbidden." The voice became deeper than ever. It stared down at her chest again and to her. It felt like anytime it stared down at her chest, it became more angry. "DON'T..." it said stressing out that word. "Ever take it off. Ever." 

For an unknown reason, her tears rained down more than ever.
