"I left him. He seems confused and I don't want to make our relation more awkward. I understand where he is coming from; my mother kills or destroys his family because of us or me. He is having a hard time accepting the fact and me." I stop as my neck clogs and I choke on a sob.

Kael stops walking and places a hand on my shoulder; squeezing it softly. I look up at him and smile softly.

I can see the softness in his eyes while he looks at me with so much adoration that I find it hard to believe that I never met him before.

"If you ask me Cara; don't do this. Give him time. It's lot to take in for both of you. But that does not mean that you should think about leaving each other. After all not everyone is lucky enough to have their mate with them." his expression darkens and hurt flashes in his eyes which he quickly hides and smiles down at me.
