PASS OF MORIA

GENERAL POV

The fellowship was running away from the goblins as fast as they could but the goblins were coming at them from all sides.

Soon they were surrounded by thousands of goblins. Kayden started to summon lightning but a sudden demonic growl stopped everyone in their tracks. A distance away an ominous light appeared and the growling became louder.

The goblins immediately fled from the scene. Everyone turns their gazes towards the light.

" what is this new devilry?" Boromir asks Gandalf.

" A balrog. A demon of the ancient world. This foe is beyond any of you. RUN!!" Gandalf yells as the fellowship runs towards the bridge.

' I will show you Gandalf how wrong you were.me and Gandalf can take on this balrog but the rest will be killed instantly, first we need to get to the pass.' Kayden thought.

They all ran towards the bridge. Boromir nearly fell of the side but was saved by Legolas. They all jump to the other side and Legolas shot the goblins that were aiming at them constantly.

They cross the bridge but Gandalf and Kayden stay on it.

" Kayden go with them." Gandalf exclaims.

" No Gandalf stay with them. This is my battle." Kayden looks in Gandalf's eyes and Gandalf steps back seeing a strange pattern in his eyes.

Gandalf walks towards the fellowship and his gaze fixed on the balrog and Kayden who stood defiantly in front of it.

'Let's make this more epic.' Kayden thinks as he summons Draupnir on his right hand and keeps blackfyre in his left.

The balrog comes in front of him, its body ablaze.

" I am the saviour of men. The wielder of lightning itself. In my right hand graces Draupnir spear created by the dwarven brothers brokk and sindri, even gods have fallen before its might. In my left hand graces Blackfyre, the symbol of kingship itself. Forged by the flames of dragons and quenched in blood."

The balrog draws a flaming sword, " The dark fire will not avail you" Kayden declares as Blackfyre crackles with lightning as he easily deflects the balrog's blow pushing it back slightly.

The balrog seemed surprised but it soon became even more furious and attacked Kayden with a whip which he doged and stared to fly in the air and attacked it with combination attacks from both spear and sword.

The balrog increases its attack speed and lashes out its whip to strike him again but suddenly a purple ribcage like structure forms around him and blocks the attack completely, the balrog was taken aback by this. Seizing the opportunity Kayden attacked him again.

TIMESKIP 30 MINUTES

POV SHIFT

THE FELLOWSHIP

" By the gods!" Aragorn exclaimed.

"He is battling a balrog of morgoth and is even overpowering it." Legolas exclaimed with pure admiration in his eyes.

" If only we had a warrior like him in Gondor." Boromir muttered with admiration and hope in his eyes.

The four hobbits were just standing there dumbfounded not saying anything.

"Truly fascinating." Gandalf said with admiration

POV SHIFT

' I am running out of stamina. I must finish this quickly' Kayden thought as he continuously assaulted the balrog with draupnir. It had about a hundred spears sticking out of it.

'Perfect' he thought as he exploded all of them at once stunning the balrog and flew high in the dematerializing the spear and grasping Blackfyre with both hands, pouring as much as energy as he can and swung it horizontally at the balrog cutting it in half.

A loud thunder sounded as the blow landed.

Kayden immediately flew toward the fellowship, " Run! The cave will come down any instant." He yelled.

His words broke them all out of their stupor and they ran towards the exit.

Soon they exit the caves and come outside.

" It is good to see the sky again" Kayden exclaims as he sits down beside Frodo.

"Did you get it?" he asks. "Yes I did as you said." Frodo replies as he hands a phone to Kayden. Yes Kayden made Frodo shoot the entire confrontation with balrog.

"Good Frodo." Kayden exclaims happily as he stores his phone in his inventory.

"Kayden break, you are full of surprises." Gandalf approaches and exclaims," You are the first one in history to have killed a balrog in single combat and lived to tell it."

"Indeed my friend, it was the greatest moment of my life." Legolas exclaimed like a child.

"You were so cool can you teach me that? I want to be useful as well." Pipin chimed in.

"That was truly the greatest battle I ever witnessed." Boromir said with admiration and hope in his eyes,

" You live up to the title the elves gave you. 'Valar's maethor'" Aragorn said.

"HAHAHAHA!! Told ya the lad is made of tough stuff." Gimli shouted

" You flatter me with your words my friends but we must leave at once, by nightfall the hills would be swarming by orcs." Kayden said.

"You are correct Kayden, we must reach the woods of Lothlorien." Gandalf commanded.

TIMESKIP

KAYDEN POV

After reaching the woods I kept hearing whispers. I must says fighting the balrog was not easy. The last attack took a lot out of me. Good thing I had upgraded my stamina or I might have passed out as soon as we came out of the caves.
