CHAPTER 29: IS THIS IT?

Kyo and the others walked through the dimensional portal that Ryuguji Han created and we're shocked to see that the other side was completely desolate and without any sign of colour or life.

<Where are we?> 

Kyo asked with a sort of scared look on his face.

"In the realm of death."

They turned around and saw Ryuguji Han sitting on what seemed like a throne with a cool and calm demeanor on his face.

<What do you mean by that>

"It means that you're already dead."

"What the...?!."

They all felt fear from his words, "Already dead?" What does that mean?, Does he mean that we died the moment we came in here or what?.

(It means that you're already in the world of the dead, at this point you're already dead until you find a way out of here)

<Hmm >

[FIRE TECHNIQUE: HELL'S FLAMES]

Kyo coated his sword in the flames and charged at Han. The Shadow Emperor just sat there and waited for the young lad's attack which he blocked with just his aura alone.

Kyo was shocked at the power that Ryuguji Han exuded, it was an overwhelming power from an immovable force.

Kyo moved back from Han and saw that the man made no attempt to stand at all, he just watched them with a pitiful look on his face.

"That was as weak as they come, nothing of that level can harm me if it can't even get past my aura."

While he was talking, Tekashi and Liu Xhang sneaked up behind him and we're about to attack when two Shadow soldiers came from behind and dragged them both down.

"Attacks from behind are for the weak, my Shadows will always protect me in any instance."

The Shadows punched them both in their stomachs and kicked them away.

"Shin, Kong, take care of both of them."

Ryuguji Han referred to the Shadows which had attacked both Tekashi and Liu Xhang.

Ryuguji Han stood up from his throne and walked towards the trio of hunters in front of him.

<What do you want from us?>

Kyo charged at him with his flames on his sword and tried attacking Han but Han's aura kept getting in the way.

"You're weak."

Ino and Rin charged at Han but the Shadow Emperor just brushed them off with his aura.

<Azazel, can we use the sword now?>

(As I said before, we can't use it now, it would expose my location)

[DARKNESS TECHNIQUE: CALM OF THE NIGHT]

Ryuguji Han looked at Kyo, he was just surprised at the kid's foolishness.

"You already know that I am the king of Shadows and darkness and you pull this?."

He sucked all the darkness into his shadow and then charged towards the three of them which Kyo dodged by a hair but Han hit both Rin and Ino.

[FIRE TECHNIQUE: FISTS OF HELLFIRE]

Kyo charged at him with flaming fists and he increased his speed immensely and almost hit Han but Han was able to dodge the attack, he kicked Kyo in his stomach which sent him flying far into the abyss.

Kyo charged at Han with an undying spirit to never give up. He continued attacking but th Shadow Emperor continued dodging effortlessly, which unnerved Kyo causing him to lose patience and attack with all his strength.

[FIRE TECHNIQUE: INCINERATION]

Kyo hurled a huge fireball at Ryuguji Han which the Shadow Emperor absorbed into his shadow, and he sent it back at Kyo but Ino and Rin stood in front of him and sent their strongest attacks at it, Ino throwing a huge thunderbolt at it and Rin blocking them with a light wall if Ino's attack couldn't stop it.

The fireball gobbled up the Thunderbolt and kept on moving towards them at blinding speed which made Rin strengthen his Light wall and was able to block the attack albeit at a price.

Rin grew tired and had lost a lot of qi, he was breathing heavily and Kyo noticed this.

"Your weakness is the reason your friends are going to die now."

Kyo lost concern for all reason and summoned Azazel's sword which Ryuguji Han noticed and smiled.

"Finally, a weapon that will most likely make me take you seriously."

Ryuguji Han summoned Azrael's death scythe.

"It's a weapon that can kill all and is mostly superior to most weapons of legend."

<But mine is a sword that returns all to nothing, so get your facts right and this means I have the superior weapon>

"Having a superior weapon doesn't give you an automatic victory, it's your ability to use it and utilize it's abilities that give you victory."

<Then let's find out who's superior shall we?>

Both charged at each other with the weapons, the clash of both weapons caused ripples through space, cracks were appearing here and there, which caused Han to smile at this.

"This weapon is the reason for your strength and you using it brings out your skill."

<As far as I'm able to end you then I don't care what it does>

The fight seemed blurry to both Rin and Ino who were only seeing flashes of light and continuous cracks in space.

Other worlds were seen through those cracks and they were also affected by the clash of two Divine weapons which were used by two powerful beings.

This was a clash between The Emperor of Shadows and The Singularity Of Heaven and Hell.

The Shadows which Han had summoned went back into his shadow and disappeared leaving Tekashi and Liu Xhang who were exhausted from the battle which they had with them.

"What's happening?."

'It seems the kid is in an overwhelming battle right now.'

Kyo and Ryuguji Han continued to fight unfaltering from any concern that the entire universe would be destroyed but they didn't care.

Han enjoying a battle for the first time since he became Azrael's Soldier and Kyo enticed by the fact that he could keep up with such a monster.

"In the other world"

'Where are the hunters?.'

The United States Hunter Association chairman asked and Jack narrated everything that happened to them which caused their chairman to ponder upon what to do next.

'This is gonna be a hard time.'
