Since abilities are unpredictable and new generation may or may not show similar abilities to parents and due to the emergence of abilities that are dangerous and uncontrollable, study to practice and controll abilities are now an essential part of college curriculum and a classification of various abilities and a power ranking of abilities called the omega ranking is established, the ranking goes from 1 to 7, seven being the strongest rank.

Various countries have a government maintained organization called awakeners association which registers and manages newly awakeners thus helps reduce the crimes commited by awakened individuals and thus withhelding awakening from the association is considered a serious crime.

"Woohoo we are finally starting our training"

"Yay, miss rudy, are we going to a hunting ground"

"Now, Now, settle down now, i know you all are excited about starting your trainings and all but keep in mind, you still have to learn other subjects and eventhough society changed we still need all kinds of jobs, so dont drop out on your exams, ok."

"Miss rudy, i will be a top hunter and a lot of us are gonnabe real superheroes, let the study and all the menial jobs go to people like Leo, ke ke if he doesnt awaken this year he can be the rarest of the rare 'pure humans' bWahahahaha"

With those remarks from flash, aka the bully, the entire class burst into laughter and mockery

"...Pffttt."

"Lol, so true."

"Ha ha ha"

Seeing the class getting out of control, miss rudy let out her lightning aura and the sparks of lightning suddenly suppressed everyone.

"Flash, do you want another detension?, i thought you've gotten enough of it"

"tch." Flash grumbled

*siegh* "Leo, dont be discouraged, late awakening is a common thing so dont loose hope, and even if you dont awaken, its fine and you will still be safe."

"Ah, dont worry miss rudy, i always wanted to do many things, now i am happy there are many oppertunities, haha." Leo said while scratching the back of his head.

"...Haa, ..now everybody listen carefully, since you are all in your final year, its time for your trainings.and Leo, Even though you havn't awakened, you should still attend the training, it will be usefull when you awaken."

"Miss rudy, what if he dosent?" Matt who was sitting near flash asked with genuine puzzlement.

"Shut up matt, ..now everyone move to the training grounds."

The training ground is a vast space with various dummies, targets, sprinting grounds, pools and a lot of scientific measurement and training tools, allmost all institutes has these.

"Leo you stay near me to assist me. As for the rest, you may already know this but i will tell you anyways, after that you guys split into groups according to your ability type.

Abilities are categorized into different types, Enhancement, Elementalist, Manipulation, Psionic, Transformation and Special.

Enhancement: Mutants that specialize in being able to physically strengthen themselves or objects.

- Common enhancement abilities include super strength, super speed, Enchanter, etc.

- Most of you fall into this category.

Elementalist: Mutants that specialize in manipulating a certain element.

- include manipulation of fire, earth, water and wind. There are even those who can manipulate rarer elements such as lightning, shadow, etc.

-About 25% of mutants including myself fall into this category.

Manipulation: Awakeners that specialize in controlling animate or inanimate things.

-Common manipulation abilities include telekinesis and animal/insect control.

-About 17% of mutants fall into this category.

Transformation: Awakeners that specialize in morphing or transforming their body or any part of their body.

- Common transformation abilities include shape-shifting, bone spikes and beast transformation.

-About 10% fall into this category.

Psionic: Awakeners that specialize in mental as well as psychic-based powers.

-Common psionic abilities include telepathy, teleportation and precognition.

- About 5% fall into this category.

Special: Mutants that do not fit in any of the five other categories, most that fall under this category contain a unique Ability."

After every one was grouped, miss rudy proceeded to assign trainings to everyone while leo help note down things.

After school leo went straight to his home, he ran throught slight rain as he almost reached his rental studio apartment. Leo was an orphan born into an orphanage, due to that he was admitted to school a bit late thus he is currently the oldest person in his class, usually everyone awakens between 20 and 22 but leo's 22 birthday was already over and thus he can only grab on to the hope of late awakening.

'....haa usually late awakeners have trashy, sometimes detrimental mutations, hooo, how troublesome.'

even though awakened uses abilities to hunt, modern firearms are still somewhat effective, leo hardly gets his funding from his clumsy shooting skills at the hunting grounds.

Back in the days, those who hunts with a guns were called hunters but now a days only the awakeners who hunts with their abilities are called real hunters, and almost all awakeners are recruited by large organisations thus unawakened like leo are considered a nuisance.

Leo sat in his bed rummaging through his wallet contemplating his next moves

'Hmm, tomorrow is saturday, so i can head to alpine hunting grounds, my shooting hasnt improved but i can manage.'

"haa did i catch a cold, this isnt good, where did i place my medicine box?"

He gulped down a paracetamol as he felt a slight fever. He then proceeded to faint and fall asleep on the floor as he felt extremely week.

around noon time on tuesday

Leo woke up feeling refreshed, he looked up seeing a figure sitting in a chair inside his apartment playing with his phone.

"Wha..Who are you?"

"O-OH YOU WOKE UP, FINALLY, to think i have to wait a day for my clone to wakeup, how disappointing!."

"What are you ....hieek"

Leo who was flustered when he saw that figure upclose and what he saw shocked him to the core, it was he himself who was sitting there!!.

"T-this i ...wha.. i'm a clone!!! Ehh??"
