Clone

"I, I'm a clone ?, but i ..." Leo still recovering from the headache asked with bewilderment.

"I know bro, its hard to accept but its the truth, remember?, 3 days ago you ..ahem, i had a fever and fainted and then...."

While he was explaining, Leo who was flustured at first quickly recovered

"Just stop, i know i am the original." Leo refuted.

"Tch. How did you figure it out ?, ...you know, when i woke up and saw you on the floor i was terrified, it took me some time to figure it out, i was naked and only after changing into these clothes that i ..Ah!, its the clothes isnt it ?, You are still wearing the same clothes when you fainted, tch to think i even moved your body to side the convince you , tsk tsk." The clone spoke with clear disappointment.

"Yes but i can also feel the ability that i awakened, so i know i am the original and also i can do this!!" With that said Leo touched his index fingers to the side of his head and focussed on his clone, the next moment the clone dissipated into thin air with a *puff* sound as a small cloud of smoke making his clothes and smartphone fall into the floor.

The next second leo felt a pain in his head and body like every cell in his body is cut and re-aligned and a surge of memories flooded in.

"Ahh AHHHRGGGGHH AAHH FUCK, FUCK, Huff hufff." leo screamed out probably startling his neighbours.

"Fuck, why is removing my abilities so fucking hurts, is this due to that fuckers memories?, aargh."

After the pain subsided, leo can now recall all the memory of the clone like its his own and in perfect clarity, it baffled him as he was never good at recalling memories, but now every text that clone read, every picture he saw, every action he did its all crystall clear in in leo's mind.

"Whoa is this ..super memory? Is this the infamous photographic memory, so cool, i wish i had it before the exams, welp no use in complaining, lets test my ability fully first."

With that leo activated his ability once again, now with fully concious, but.

"AAAAHHHRRGGGGHH AAHH MOTHERFUCKER." Leo couldn't help but curse out in pain as the same pain from before assulted him again and he writh in pain on the floor again.

Leo could see a cloud form with a *puff* sound and his clone appeared, and leo staggered to his feet but before he could speak, he saw a naked feet getting closer and closer until it hit his face and he was thrown crashing into the wall followed by his clone pinning him on the ground.

"You son of a bitch, do you know how scary it is to go in and out of existance?, if you ever do that without permission, i will FUCKING KILL YOU."

"A-Alright i will, i'm sorry i didnt know." Leo was momentarily frightned by the ferocity expressed by his clone.

While the clone released his grip, leo took a breather.

'so scary, is he really my clone?, i was never this violent, ugh, how is he stronger than me?.'

"H-Hey, are you really me, why are you so ferocious?"

"Haa, Bitch, try erasing yourself from existance and tell me how you feel."

"Ugh, i said sorry, i was just eager to try my ability back then, i wont do that again"

'I will wait till my mana is depleted for you to disappear.' Leo thought to himself

"Huff humph, i will accept your apology for now, but remember i am you, maybe a slightly frustrated version so treat me as an equal, got it."

"Alright"

After that, an awkward silence ensued in the apartment.

Thankfully the awkward atmosphere was broken by his next door neighbour who knocked on his door.

"Leo, is everything alright?"

"Yes uncle vincent, i just tripped, everythings fine now, thanks"

"Oh, Alright take care."

After uncle vincent left, the clone sat on a chair and leo sat in his bed rubbing an ice pack on his face.

"Sorry, you unsummoned me without warning and i felt like dying, so... , does it hurt?" Asked the clone looking at leo.

"Its fine, Um, are we calm, can we discuss the ability?, i mean, we just awakened an ability but the day went like this haha."

"True, it was an unusual awakening as well, taking almost 4 days."

"Huh? What? Four days, today is tuesday?, holly shit, but why i dont feel week." Realization struck leo as he realized that he spend nearly 4 days unconcious.

"Well, i ate a lot after i woke up, and when the ability is removed, i believe the energy that i had somehow transfered or merged with you, just like the memories."

"But how do you know about the supper memory effects?" Leo asked instinctively

"Dont gross me out by such idiotic questions mate, you're better than that."

"Ah, yes you are an identical clone of mine."

"I dont know, i am not that sure, i believe your ability somehow allows you to create a clone with slightly additional characteristics." The clone spoke with a deep contemplation look.

"Why do you say that, is it because your personality is slightly different?"

" that too, but when you first created was while you were unconcious, i believe you created me as a more improved version of you, may be a perfect version that you were thinking of in your dreams."

"Well aren't you a bit narcissist."

"Thats exactly my point."

A realisation dawned on leo

"So you are saying ...that i should..."

"Yes, weren't you thinking of experiminting with a clone to study memory retency effects, so why dont you try create a clone of yourself who is obsessive about studying or gathering knowledge."

"That, i could try but, can i create morethan one clone?"

"I believe so, and i believe your ability is also not dependent on mana but some other energy, as it is impossible for you to have the mana to keep your ability sustain this long right after awakening. So we are a long way from figuring out your ability."

"Hmm, mm, its weird seeing you talk so calmly like this." Leo spoke with genuine astonishment.

"What? Bastard, you wanna go again?"

"There you are, alright then lets find out the full extend of our ability."
