Without any thought, I immediately responded "Princess you need not worry. I'll never be angry with you." I could visibly feel the tension and anxiety deflate from my daughter as the relief she felt could be easily felt by me. Gathering her thoughts, she replied, "Daddy I want to be like you! With this, I can form a body and play with you!" while waving her vines around reminiscent of hands waving in anticipation.
"Wow! That's like… wow, seriously, I don't know what to say.." I spoke my thoughts aloud for I actually didn't know what to say or think for that matter. Barely had a day gone by and I had formed a daughter, sure, adopted but still; and she was already developing her intelligence and had on her own found a way to develop herself a new body. Like seriously, was my World's Will dumb? She gave me this power to play God and it didn't activate the safety protocols? Well, whatever. I don't think I am ever going to complain. All these thoughts going around my head while I was zoned out staring at that bud, when I was awakened from my thoughts my her voice, sounding sad and as if about to cry, "Daddy, are you angry?" and this was enough to pull me out of my thoughts. I mean, it was not good, and how she must have felt, her father promising not to be angry but when she tells him what she was working on, he just goes real quiet, and leaves her hanging. Plus no matter how fast she grew mentally, she was still barely a day old. Clearing my mind, I mentally replied- "Princess, you cannot understand how happy I feel, I am just surprised that you grew so fast and were already developing your own body. No matter what, you must know that I will never be angry with you and am very proud of you." With a laugh that seemed to take all my stress away, she excitedly said, "Yayy! You know Daddy, I have already switched my source to this bud, and will soon form a small, pretty form like you! Then we will always be together!" making me laugh and look at her fondly, seeing her this naïve reminding me though she seemed mature, she was a child and thus it was my responsibility to protect her innocence. As I observed her project, I instinctively felt an ability of mine was perfect for aiding her, which would not just strengthen her body, but also act as an extra safeguard.
But first, I asked for her opinion- "Princess, do you want to be related to Daddy? Like another bond, similar to which we have which allows us to talk. But this one will allow us to know where we are and keep us connected. Do you want it, my dear? Think it through, for this was permanent." But instead of silence or any contemplation which I expected as she now was capable of rational thought, instead she surprised me by saying, "Daddy knows best! I trust Daddy. Plus with this bond I will always know where Daddy is! So we will always be together!" Satisfied and proud, I walked closer to the bud before trusting my instincts and using [Create Progeny] on the bud, which worked by separating a part of biomass which slowly moved towards the bud before being absorbed into it. That when the bud started mutating. "Daddy, what's happening? I feel different, stronger, but sleepy..daddy…" while the bud developed a metallic luster similar to [All-Metal], before being disconnected from the fence and falling into my arms. "Don't worry princess, you will be alright… and much, much stronger once you wake up…. I'll be waiting for you to complete your nap." I answered while feeling her lose consciousness and enter a sort of hibernation as her newly forming body acclimatized to another racial component being added to the pot. This was my doing, and I was somewhat aware of the repercussions.
This was my ability, [Create Progeny]. I could either create a brand new Symbiote, like Venom who learned from his Host and developed a personality; or create a soldier who took over a body and carried out my orders while forming a personality. What I did here was the first option while instructing the newly formed Symbiote to give in to the host, here my daughter, and lose its sense of identity and assimilate into her newly forming body. So, she will be like me, part Symbiote and part plant-human hybrid, as the process of forming a new body will aid in merging with the Symbiote heritage, forming a completely new kind of existence based on me. Doing this was necessary as I did not want my daughter to be stuck in one place, plus becoming part Symbiote will definitely help her survive Marvel as well as improve her potential. So, after placing the disconnected, metallic bud which now resembled an egg in the special shock-resistant backpack I created out of [All-Metal], I called my [Shadow Wolf Pack] back from their hunting spree, ordering them to continue their predation while instead of feeding the Living Fence, they were to bring their prey to the newly created basement with an entrance in the garden, courtesy of living in a smart house. Instructing them to feed on their prey but leave their remains there, I settled their affairs so that it maintained a continuous independent cycle without needing my involvement- self-sufficient, as I like my things to be. After all this and wearing a backpack, I returned to my abode, finally paying attention to the blue System screen blinking in front of my eyes ever since the first of the wolves' prey were devoured by me daughter.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't flabbergasted. I mean, yes, I knew that this was a survival game, but this was blatant encouragement to commit fucking genocide. I mean, damn this is insane. But now, I was more curious. Like, what was the use of these points? Surely they must have some use otherwise it was simply not worth it. I mean, from the existing prompts, I could guess that the stronger the person I killed, with a higher relevance to the plot, then more will be the Points I get. So, moving around with no response, I concentrated on the Points, imagining something like a Shop or something to spend the Points on, and like I expected, the screen did change, displaying an interface I had never seen before.

All right. That's a lot to take in. But one thing for sure, it was a good call making the wolves hunt. I not just realized the extent my ability extended to, I also got a prospect of companionship and responsibility in the form of my ward- my daughter, who was currently in her growth phase. I even became aware of a new system feature, Points, their use and how to get them. I could see a pattern, and as per this pattern, there were two methods for getting Points- One, obviously, by killing others, and higher the plot relevance of the person you kill, higher would be the points. But, obviously, the higher the plot relevance, higher the difficulty. I mean, it's obvious that it won't be easy to get those points, and I was willing to bet that Tony Stark was the protagonist here. Like, the one with the most plot-relevance. Hmm. Killing him now would be easy, but will it be worth it? It will pretty much derail the entire plot of the world, and too many people would be startled. Not that I am afraid of messing the timeline or any of that shit, I fully intend on fucking the plot. But, I will start that with small, baby steps. Messing with a small scale protagonist before he develops-someone local-someone who lives next door - something to ponder over.
