Liam knew everything

After about an hour later the doctors came out and sent Ava to the general ward.

Seeing Ava coming out Liam breathed a sigh of relief. He rushed toward the doctor and asked anxiously, "Doctor, how is she doing now?"

"What kind of husband are you? Your wife is six weeks pregnant how could you let her work so much? Her fetus is not stable yet and due to work overload and stress, she almost had a miscarriage just now. Do you understand the seriousness of the matter? As a husband, she should take good care of her wife." A middle-aged female doctor took off her mask and said almost scolding Liam.

Liam stared at the doctor in shock. Realization hit him and he clenched his fist in anger, but he kept a soft simile on his face and said in a low voice, "Yes doctor I understand. I'll take good care of her. Thank you." Liam didn't bother to explain his relationship with Ava.

So Ava was pregnant!

No wonder she didn't want to continue the private doctor's job anymore. Does Oliver know? Knowing Ava Liam guessed she must have told him. He walked inside Ava's ward and saw she was still unconscious. After making sure she was ok he quietly left the ward and stood in a quiet corridor and took out his phone to call Oliver.

Oliver was very busy at work at that moment. Seeing that Liam was calling he had no intention to pick it up. He never imagined the call could be related to Ava so he simply ignored it. He didn't want to get upset just by talking to Liam, he had a way to get into his nerves. However, Liam kept calling him, and left with no choice Oliver finally picked up the call and said coldly, "Liam this better be something very important."

"Well, it depends how important Ava is to you. She had an accident and she is in the hospital right now." Liam said in a clear voice.

Oliver abruptly stood up and grabbed his car keys, ready to leave, "Which hospital?" Oliver rushed out of the office.

After Liam hung up the phone, he leaned against the wall and closed his eyes feeling pain. Why did he feel pain thinking she was bearing someone else's child in her womb? Did he hope she would bear his child one day? And now that he brought Melody here what will happen to Ava and her child? For the first time, Liam wanted to abandon his plan and let Ava be happy with Oliver.

In the quiet corridor, suddenly the sound of rushed footsteps came from afar. Oliver came to the hospital almost running. He saw Liam was standing at the end of the corridor and came directly to him.

"Wow, that was quick," Liam said surprised. He didn't expect him to come so soon, sometimes he didn't understand Oliver at all. Here he was a caring boyfriend came running for his beloved as soon as he heard she was in the hospital and on the other hand, he was still entangled with Melody.

"You bastard, what did you do to her? Why were you two together?" Oliver's eyes were scarlet in rage. He asked holding Liam's collar.

"Don't you believe her? Oliver, you really are something." Liam said with a mocking smile, but his eyes were full of anger. How could Ava be with someone like him who didn't even trust her?

"Liam stop spouting nonsense and don't try to create dispute between us." Oliver lose his hold on the collar and pushed him against the wall.

"Do I need to create a dispute between you two? You are doing it yourself. Oliver, do you think no one knows your past? Or do you think I don't know your purpose for approaching Ava?" Liam proudly lifted his eyes and said with a smile.

In fact, Liam didn't know about it at the beginning but in order to prepare Emily to become Melody, he went to the people who knew Melody well. That's when he found out Ava was Melody's best friend and she was the one who was in the car that day with Melody. The rest he guessed.

Oliver clenched his fist and looked at Liam sharply. Looks like Liam was more complicated than he thought. How naive he was thinking no one knew about him and Melody but it turns out this snake knew it all. Then again he shouldn't be surprised, should he? If Michael was involved in the accident then it's normal for Liam to know everything.

"Enough! I don't know what you're talking about." Oliver looked at him coldly and simply denied the accusation. But he had a bad feeling in his heart, if Liam opened his mouth in front of Ava then everything will be ruined.

"Oh! You don't know?" Liam laughed out loud then looked at Oliver and said with a sneer, "You know best. But I think Ava is really pitiful, you have been just using her all this time. I really sympathize with her." Liam's tone was full of provocation.

"Shut up!" Oliver said clenching through his teeth. His eyes were scarlet with a killing instinct in them.

"Why so angry CEO Knight? Is it because I am telling the truth and you feel guilty?" Liam laughed loudly again and this time his laughter echoed through the quiet corridor.

"Liam get out of here before I beat you to death. You are not welcome here."

"Sure, I wasn't planning to stay here anyway. By the way, the doctor said Ava has been working too much lately, and because of the workload and stress, she almost had a miscarriage. You probably need to take care of her more. But I wonder if she found out how you set a trap for her to take revenge, would she give birth to your child?" Liam said in a tone of ridicule.

Oliver clenched his fist and wished he could punch him in the face right now. Oliver took a deep breath trying to calm himself down and said through gritted teeth "Liam, if you dare to talk nonsense in front of Ava, I promise I will tear your mouth."

"CEO Knight, calm down. I know you are ruthless, but your threats don't work on me." Liam said arrogantly.

"Try it."

Liam sneered but didn't say anything else, he just turned and left.

After Liam left Oliver closed his eyes in distress, it's true that at the beginning, Oliver hated Ava and had bad motives but later he really fell in love with her. He thought only he knew this secret.
