Transfer

"Are you okay? I heard you agreed to be the girlfriend of that asshole, don't worry, I've spoken with a few friends, and we've decided to transfer you to another university." He assured.

"You have done all that for me?" I asked in a shaky voice.

"Yes, lovely, I can't let you throw yourself at your enemy because of me." I muttered.

I hugged him as he patted my back.

"I don't want you to cry anymore. I don't want to see a single drop of tears in your eyes, each tear is worth gold." He said in a cold tone.

I pulled away from the hug and looked up at him. He was so considerate. Maybe I had failed to understand him, but he always wanted the best for me.

My parents were just sitting on the couch watching us.

"I can't leave this university now. Tomorrow is our first-semester examination. I can't back out now." I muttered, gazing into his eyes.

He put his hand on my cheek.

"I hope you will be able to sit for the exam tomorrow because I know you haven't been able to study for days and you have been thinking about us." Daniel remarked. I held his hand, staring into his delightful brown eyes. He is the only one that gets me.

"I will try my best," I said, giving him a reassuring smile.

"That's good to hear, girl," Bella commented, walking over to us.

She put her hand around my shoulder and put her mouth in my ear.

"Your brother had been worried about you for a long time, and he hadn't been able to eat or go to work." She whispered.

"Don't listen to her; it's because of these damn injuries." Daniel protested.

"I hope you can take care of yourself because of me." I muttered when my eyes drifted to my parents, who were both sleeping on the couch.

"When did they fall asleep?" I inquired, staring at them.

"Maybe their TV show is just too boring." Daniel remarked.

"It is not." They both chorused and walked over to me.

"How are you, Amber? I hope that bad white guy isn't making your life a living hell." My mom said while holding my hand.

"He didn't want me to come here, but I stood up to him. I think I will have to pay the price tomorrow." I said, looking down.

"I will make sure he doesn't do anything to you." Daniel declared, clenching his fist.

"This isn't the time to get fierce. You know what happened the last time." I muttered.

"I have learned my lesson." He beamed.

"Dad, have you been able to get the property papers?" I asked bluntly.

"Yes darling, I went to Mr. Martin's house. He didn't want to give it to me. I had to fight him to get it." My dad beamed.

"That means I don't have to be submissive to Mason anymore." I said with an evil grin.

"Yes, you have to act expensive and give him a taste of his own medicine." Bella declared.
