Blackmail

"I didn't forget." Amber whimpered.

"Then tell me." Mason asked.

"I should always answer your calls at all times. I am not allowed to talk to other guys. I should spend some time with you every evening after school." Amber stated.

He let go of her and smirked.

"So you know all these things and you still refuse to obey. Where were you last night?" He asked, holding her chin.

Amber looked away, avoiding his gaze. She was not a good liar.

"I slept off." She replied.

"Why didn't you turn off your phone?" He asked, raising his brow. She smiled nervously.

"I must have forgotten." She said with a weak smile.

Mason grasped her hand and stared into her eyes.

"You will be with me today at all times. I will never let you out of my sight." He declared, dragging her out of the hostel with him. She was still wondering how he was able to get into the hostel without being sent away by the security.

They both arrived in front of the hostel. Mason came to a halt in front of the security and shoved his hand in his pocket and tossed a bunch of money to the security guard who caught it.

"Thank you, sir." The security guard beamed.

Amber narrowed her eyes at the security.

"They do say that rich people always have their way." She muttered to herself and started walking away with Mason, who was still holding her hand, trying not to let go.

Minutes later.

They both strolled into class side by side, with all the students' eyes on them.

"The school goddess." Elsa muttered, glaring at them.

Xavier was drinking a smoothie when he saw Amber. He couldn't take his eyes off her. He subconsciously spilled the smoothie on his shirt.

"Hahaha." Everyone in the class burst out laughing.

Amber wanted to laugh when Mason stared at her. She put on a straight face as they both settled down in the front seat.

Mason put his hand on the chair and crossed his leg. He moved his face closer to her neck.

"We are going to do some biology later tonight," he muttered. Amber gulped. She didn't know what he meant by that and pretended not to be affected by it.

She brought out her book and dropped it on the desk. She turned to look at Mason, who didn't bring his bag. A student walked over to them and dropped Mason's expensive blue bag on the table.

"What took you so long?" Mason inquired and took it from him.

Suddenly, the teacher walked into the class and started teaching.

Mason put his hand on his chin, lost in thought. The thing that happened to him last night was still bugging him and he didn't know how to react.

He slowly turned in his chair and stole a glance at Elsa, who smiled at him.

He had a lot of questions to ask her. He sighed and looked back at the teacher who was talking. He couldn't make out what the teacher was teaching.
